Wrangler Men’s Rugged Wear Jean (Pants) 1704

Review for /wrangler mens rugged wear jean

Price was 12. I also bought a pair of the same size carhartt jeans on online store at around the same time i bought these. They are both nice jeans, but personally for my body the wranglers seem to fit my form even better. I like both but will probably buy these wranglers exclusively going forward. The material seems thick enough but not too much as to cause discomfort or scratchiness, and the cut is great for me. I'm impressed. . Just a warning, i just clicked the link to the size and color i bought and within about a week and a half they are offered now by a different seller at almost twice the price i paid. So, if the price seems too high for you, be patient and keep checking your size every few days. I'd bet the prices vary greatly depending on whether online store sells them or if they run out of your size and another seller sells them.

Preface

Love wranglers in black denim and relaxed fit. Could not find the size i wanted anywhere locally, and it's a very common size. Online store had them, and at a price i couldn't pass up. They got here pronto and fit just right. Normally, i don't like to buy jeans (or any other style of pants) without trying them on first, but online store has come through on every order i've placed in the last two years - zero returns needed. . Post script: okay, so i've been losing weight steadily since february and fairly quickly shrank out of the first pair i ordered. So, having been well-pleased with the first pair, i pulled the trigger on another pair 4 sizes smaller and guess what - they fit perfectly! i bought the first pair two sizes too big in case they shrank in the wash, but they didn't, so these, which are the correct size to fit me, probably won't either. Even if they do, i'm still losing weight, so they'll be there ready for me when i'm ready for them. But they fit fine now, so i'll wear them at least until after they're washed the first time. . Still a happy online store camper. The Best men's rugged wear ( Sep 2019 ) | Wrangler Men S Sportswear-Pants Review Spotlight Wrangler Men's Rugged Wear Jean Denim jean features a smart u-fit crotch. Wrangler Men's Rugged Wear Jean Review (Wrangler)

When it comes to price, fit and style it's hard to beat wrangler jeans. They have been very consistent in this for many years and it's nice to have a brand you can count on for good work jeans and/or for casual wear. A nice relaxed fit means all day comfort with no baggy/saggy bottom after a long day of physical work. Size is cut accurate. Purchased first pair and liked them so much ordered another. The other thing about wrangler is that they still have the small watch pocket. Some jeans have removed this feature. I actually use the watch/coin pocket so it is a selling point for me. -M. Jackson

PROS
  • These jeans are very nice. I ordered on size smaller because they stretch out to the proper size pretty quickly. They don't bind and pinch so they are very comfortable. I am a bigger guy (6'5" 300) so finding the right size that doesn't look like hippo pants isn't easy. I like the tapered legs because regular relaxed fit are very baggy all the way down the leg and these slim down below the knee.
  • I have always been levi only, but the price was too good to be true on deal of the day. I needed a little more out in the waist anyway and the new levi's are not above the waist anymore. These are and the color and feel and fit is perfect. True to length and waist. Should of got more but didn't know about wrangler.
CONS
  • These are okay jeans -except for their loops. Half the loops are are just sown into the fabric panels (not into the seams). Consequently, those loops fail sooner than they should.
  • I tried them on and they fit very well, then i washed them in cold water and the they shrunk. Also of note - the inside tag does not have a wrangler logo like the "authentics" pair i bought. Go with the authentics
  • A fake wrangler jean , or cheapest made. Had visable seams and not authenic wrangler waist. Tag at belt -loop area. Had a w on each back pocket. This was not what was described on screen; . I ordered these jeans before from this site and had received the authenic wrangler jeans.

Husband had been wearing levi's, decided to try wrangler in the same size; they do seem just a tad looser, so are a tad longer even though they are the same measured length. Husband said: yea, they're okay. Washed about the same as levi's and the blue dye is washing out at about the same rate. Man of few words. 'they're okay'!

The over dyed black means it takes them a long time to fade (which is for a business casual environment), they really are tough and rugged, the front pockets are more than spacious, and most important of all, they have lots of room in the crotch, so you won't unman yourself in an excruciating act of self castration when you squat to pick up a box or hunker down on one knee. Be good to your gonads. Buy these jeans."

(0) Question: Do these have 5 belt loops as shown or do they have 7 belt loops?

(1) Question: Can you please advise me what are the shipping dimensions and shipping weight of this item? thanks, petr.

(2) Question: How should i measure the length for my jeans ? i. e. where to start & end the measurement. thank you

Maverick Men's Relaxed-fit Jean (Pants) FAQ.

Every pair of pants my husband owns that fits him well are 36x36, so that's the size we ordered when we ordered maverick men's relaxed fit jean, vintage. Unfortunately they're tight in the waist, and if they shrink after washing, they won't fit him at all. They're also longer than other brands' 36x36 relaxed fit jeans. That being said, with a tape measure, i do see they are 36x36, but if you're used to wearing wranglers relaxed fit jeans, expect these to be tighter and longer. . Other than that, these are pretty nice jeans, sturdy and well made, surprisingly so for the price. That being the case, we'll order my husband some 38x36 size in these jeans and try again, as they're pretty nice. -Notice from . Jacqueline, Illinois

The jeans are great. I own levi's and wrangler, but this pair beats them both. Only caution, as recommended in other reviews, is to buy one size larger. I am normally a 34 but ordered 35 (another plus), and they fit perfect in the waist and are just a little long. For the money, this is a fabulous buy. I plan to buy more.

- R. CourtneyHusband loves these pants. Bought him 3 pairs, he says they are very comfortable and they are much cheaper than the wrangler he's always bought. He says he's going to stick with these for comfort and price. Thanks online store.

I ordered these pants in a 33 32, in my opinion they fit true to size in comparison to other brands i have or have once owned. These are great pants for the price, i hate spending $30+/- on pants to wear to work just to have them get stained, greasy, or holy. The fit, feel, and finish of these pants are as good as pants twice or more the price. My girlfriend and coworkers thought i was joking that they were only 13 bucks a pair. I am very pleased and i will be buying again and i certainly would recommend them.

The F.A.Q. for Wrangler Men's Rugged Wear Jean (Pants)

Seems like jeans these days vary all over the place in sizing! this pair of jeans was supposedly the same size as another pair of wrangler jeans i've had for awhile, but despite showing the same size on both pair, this one was very loose around the waist, and substantially longer in the legs. Apparently, they've thrown away any tape measures that may have been used in the past, as it must have taken too long to actually check the real-life size of the jeans!

A number of questions have been asked here.

A relaxed cut allows for ease of movement throughout the work day. These are made from a heavier denim than regular jeans for durability. I've only been wearing these jeans for 3 weeks, so they've only been washed a few times. I have not noticed any shrinking or fading so far. An observation i've noticed, it does take a while longer to dry in the dryer because of the heavier material. The leg opening is large enough to slip over my pull on work boots.

Wrangler blue jeans. Iconic. . Seemed a bit baggy so i tossed 'em in the wash and hey presto! clean unbaggy jeans. . Wearing them now. Wore them yesterday. I'm thinking of buying a second pair. . Looking good, feeling good. . Yep. Need another pair.

D. Jarvis, Alaska says

I was looking for a pair of pants that would actually fit my length without going around to all the big and tall stores. I'm 6'-1" tall and a 34" inseam is about the longest you typically find in regular stores. I find some 34" lengths that fit okay, others, not so much. And after a few washes with the ones that do fit they seem to get short enough that it bugs me. So i took a chance and bought these 34"x36" jeans from wrangler. And boom! finally pants that fit. They are a "tad" long, but look awesome with my timberland pro boots (also bought on online store, and i highly recommend) in black that i bought for motorcycle riding. So even if they do shrink, they will still have plenty of length, but if they don't, they look awesome anyway. And these are the old school jeans, just what i love. Not the short waist, rhinestone studded, decorative pocketed, all torn up and faded, skinny jean fad pants. These are no no none sense good quality working/motorcycle riding, perfectly relaxed fitting jeans that i have scoured every store within a 20 mile radius looking for. And the price on online store. Amazing! i selected the "fit as expected" choice because they fit as i hoped they would, but i have other 34's that have much more room in the waist, but these fit like a 33 or 32 in other jeans i have, which is perfect for me. Tall and thinner. Best jeans ever! i would recommend these to anyone looking for a good quality/heavy duty denim pants.

A. Adrienne, Essex

Every brand has their own sizing quirks and honestly, any input i can give you on that front is going to be anecdotal. If you happen to want that, here you go:. . I measure a 38 waist, and these, unwashed, were about a size too tight. After a good wash, hang dry, and tumble through the fluff setting in the dryer with a tennis ball, they fit better everywhere but the waist. . If you're on the middle-high end of a given size, i'd say go one up. That minor gripe aside, these have very true coloring, have yet to fade even slightly, and look amazing.

H. Moore, Arkansas says

Remember the jeans that you used to be able to buy at the store? the ones that would last for years? these are the ones that you are looking for. . I have bought jeans at the store for years, but over the last 10-15 years, the fabric has become much thinner and lighter in weight. I bought 3 pairs of jeans a couple of years ago where they all started wearing in the same place, the top right corner of the back left pocket. I didn't even keep anything in that pocket but they all wore out in the same spot after only 6 months. . These "rugged wear" version of the wrangler jeans are the same ones that used to be the "normal" jeans. The fabric is the same thickness that all jeans used to be and the stitching is the heavy duty stitching that all jeans used to use.

R. Nicole, South Carolina

I like the dark color a lot more than i'd expected. They can be worn with a dark sports coat and look casual professional. The legs are a little larger around than a lot of jeans, but that also leaves them very comfortable. They're not awkwardly large; they look nice. I have large calf and thigh muscles, so for me it's nice to find a design that goes around my legs without hugging them, while not so big that they look silly.

. Lara, Michigan says

I have purchased these several times now and worn them daily for years. Compared to most jeans these are indeed more rugged but they're not perfect - the stitching and weave around pocket corners always wears through well before the rest of the jean (which is a testament to durability elsewhere but unfortunate for anyone who doesn't sew their own patches to cover these holes - well, more accurately, unfortunate for anyone walking behind said person). I have found, thanks to other reviewers, even more durable options from specialty makers, but at a drastically higher price (2-3x), so i stick with these and figure being able to afford more frequent replacements cancels out the difference and might even be slightly better for incidents that will eat up any kind of jeans (e. G. Motorcycle accidents) since replacements are always required sooner or later.

. Elida, North Carolina

My husband purchased these almost in frustration from having difficulty in finding comfortable and well-made jeans. We both were pleasantly surprised and very pleased when he tried them on. It's always a bit of a risk buying clothing/shoes on-line that you've never tried on or worn before. However, living where we currently are. One does what one must! the fit of these jeans is just right for his tall (6'3") slender frame. The 34-inch length hits him just off the ground at his heel. The relaxed fit, isn't too baggy, but still roomy enough for comfort of sitting at a desk for long hours. The denim is a heavier weight, perfect for his job where at times he visits the "project site" and gets "dirty. " the "antique indigo" suits his tastes. He prefers jeans that are softened by pre-washing but not worn out! after three washings in cold water and drying on medium heat there was minimal shrinkage. We're buying more and recommend these relaxed wrangler jeans to others with similar needs and likes.

T. Nellie, Doncaster says

These jeans fit nicely. As with all wrangler jeans on my body, though, i find it difficult to use the rear pockets as they seems to sit high. Good in that i'm not sitting on my wallet. Bad in that i now keep my wallet in my front pocket as it was too hard to get it out of the rear pocket for my taste. Why the 5 star rating? great jeans that make me happy at a good price. This is not my first pair and i'd likely order more.

S. Eva, Gateshead

These jeans are a very good value at this price point. This is my 4th pair of these jeans and they are my current go to brand for jeans. I buy "work" jeans and these fit the bill for me. I haven't noticed any problems yet. The wrangler jeans i purchased 3 months ago have held up to date and i expect the same out of this pair. . If you want a good pair of work jeans at a good price, i recommend these.

. Fabian, Waltham Forest says

I ordered the wrong cut, but the longer i wore them the more i liked them - since i normally buy at feed and ranch supply stores i was in a hurry and ordered a couple of pair on-line. Other than the fit, i can see no difference between these and retail, and am actually glad i made the mistake of ordering the wrong style. Since it's been about 4 months or so since i ordered these i think the review is valid - this is not one of those 'i just got them in the mail today and love them! " - this is a 'i got mine four months ago, sometimes wash them twice a day on a bad day - and they are as good as retail, and the sizing is perfect.

Y. Reed, Sunderland

I bought these jeans in four different colors for my son, who is tall, muscular and stocky. He doesn't like his jeans to fit baggy, but i have trouble finding jeans that fit his build without either bagging or being too slim. These are just slightly fuller through hips and thighs and straight (almost tapered) down to the ankles. . I especially liked the free prime shipping and free returns - like most males my son hates to shop and try on clothes. I was able to order two different sizes to figure out if these jeans would work for him, chase him until he gave up and tried them on, then return the ones we didn't like. Once we got the right size figured out, we ordered more. The fit is consistent in all the ones i ordered, which is sometimes a problem with clothes.

X. Laura, Redbridge says

"fit" is a relative term when it comes to clothes. But, these are one of the few pants that i can use as a machinist at work and feel 100% comfortable. Great pants. I gave it four stars as the pockets are white and continually show like a beacon when you wear them. They should die the pockets as the white looks a little tacky (it sticks up a bit usually above the top of the black outer stitching). Not trying to create a fashion at work, but would like them even better if the pockets were dark.

I. Cageen, Missouri says

I wear size 36w relaxed jeans from old navy. I had heard that their sizes were off, and this must be the case, because when i got size 36w relaxed wranglers online, they were very tight. I sent back the 36w relaxed and exchanged it for the 38w relaxed. To my surprise the 38w relaxed were also way too tight. While i was waiting, i picked up some levis 559s that were 38w relaxed and they fit perfect, just like my old navy 36w relaxed. I think wranglers sizes are much too small. I'm going to have to send back the 38s.

K. Angela, Solihull

I love wrangler jeans, but these must have been marked the wrong size, they were way to small. , i have other wrangler jeans, and i found these in sizes that you dont usually see in the department stores, im in a 34 w, i ordered 35, w and they were way to small and tight, while my 34 fit all wrangler, the jeans were really nice, and a great price, i would have loved to kept them , if they fit, when returning them the whole return process was very fast and with no problems, and i had my refund very fast also, great customer service.

N. Valdez, Quebec says

Jeans were just a little snug around the waist and just a touch longer in length than i wanted. Waist did stretch out a little after a few moments and was comfortable. After washing, length was a little better. Overall, nice jeans!

Z. Patton, South Tyneside

I purchased these wrangler (rugged wear) jeans for my husband in summer. He really likes wrangler a lot. He said that they are great work jeans. They fit his body real good. And they are very comfy and warm. They bend and fold good when he drives. . He drives film trucks and carries motion picture equipment. And says the jeans look good enough for when he drives directors, agencies, and clients, too. The jeans look pretty hip, as well, for his acting work that he sometimes does on the side. . The jeans are easy to clean even the toughest dirt. They are made of very strong material. After seven months and several dozen washings, they still look brand new. Talk about great quality!

G. Ruby, Blackburn with Darwen says

My husband wears them almost everyday so i'd say that he likes them.

U. Guest, Iowa

I love these jeans. The relaxed fit is just right for a grown man. I can wear my work boots with these and not need a 'boot flair' style. The extra belt loops at the back (at 5 & 7 o'clock) keep these jeans where they need to be when bending over or carrying extra weight in pockets or on your belt. The denim is heavy-weight and will hold up for many washings and provide long wear. The cost is a bargain and online store prime gets them to your door quickly. 5 stars - well deserved.

L. Cassella, Pennsylvania says

The fit was a little bit amaller than the same pair, different color, than i had gotton before. Still a nice pair of jeans. My husband wore them with the crimson tide sweatshirt also ordered from you. Loved them !

J. Carol, Leicester

Hello. I just got these nice color and light fabric. As soon as i put them on, my gut disappeared, and my body mass turn to muscle, and lean frame. Very nice , i was rugged. The minute i took them off . Well i was back to average. My experience with this brand has been, positive . Not expensive , and can take a beating when i'm in the field . I hope this helps. . Thank you for your time

V. Whiteman, Barking and Dagenham says

This was my favorite pair of jeans. Except they got torn. So i copied the size off the label, an viola! they were too small. In the waist and thighs. And not by a little bit either. I am a 27 length and these appear to measure out correctly. If i could have sucked it in and lost another inch, i would have kept them. . But the material and construction were excellent. Liked the color alot. Liked the style. Material is heavy, but not as much as the l brand. . Return policy was painless, in fact easy. Not a lot of questions. Particularly liked the return pick up option by ups. Worked out the pick up day was the replacement pair delivery day. . Arrived on time, packaged only in oversized plastic bags. I have already ordered again

I have been wearung well made wrangler jeans a long time. I like the stitched w on the back pockets and doubled stitched side seams. However, the description for the pair i ordered was that these were "relaxed fit". What i received were not "relaxed fit". But regular fit.

Disadvantage and Critical reviews

Z. Cortney, Isle of Wight says

Very disappointed jeans have developed holes all up and down the leg and new holes are developing on the other leg. Do not recommend this product.

U. April, Limousin

How can a brand as wrangler have such inconsistencies in their sizes, as i wrote this i am wearing one of my older wrangler jeans size 38 relaxed fit, and it is relaxed and loose. And i tried one of the new ones which 40 relaxed fit and are at least two sizes too small. And nowhere does it say that this is a blend of 90 cotton and 10 polyester. Unfortunately i cannot send them back since i live in costa rica and the shipping would be just as expensive as buying new ones.

I ordered the same size of wrangler's that have gotten before (at least 5-7 yrs ago) that fit just fine but this 2017 version is smaller and has less crotch clearance which makes them ride to low for me even if the waist was the correct size. Love wrangler's but this 2017 version is not meant for me.

P. Rose, Sunderland

Twice i received jeans that were wildly incorrectly sized. The labels stated the correct size, but the actual jean was completely wrong. 38 waist was closer to 32. A 29 inseam was closer to 33. This is ridiculous to start with, but then the second pair arrived. They were closer to the label in size but still not wearable.

X. Kimberly, North Tyneside says

I own many pair of wrangler jeans and have always taken the same size for the last 20 years. I order from online store and now the same size is 4 inches to small around the waist. When measured for waist size these jeans are for a 30 inch waste. Not the 36 inch waist as labeled. This is for all the pairs i ordered on two different orders. So i went to the store and tried their sizes and they fit as the label measures as the correct size.

I have worn these for years, but i bought a pair 2 months ago and they were exactly 2" too long. I got them altered. Thinking it was a fluke, i bought another pair a couple days ago (10/10/15), and same thing. Exactly 2" longer than my others. I returned them. It's not because of washing either, because they don't shrink that much. Guess i'll be buying them in a store from now on so i can make sure they fit.

W. Carol, Bury says

Jeans arrived on time, jeans fit was as expected. The only problem with the jeans was that the belt loops were not sewn on evenly. There was an inch difference in their closeness to the next loop side to sidei would have sent them back, but i bought them for an ak. Fishing trip and i was not to interested in a fashion statement.

I bought these for work. They fit and feel great. Last week in the morning i noticed a small hole on my knee. By the end of the day the small hole was not small, my entire knee was exposed, every time i bent down or squatted the hole just got bigger. Now i have a small hole just above my knee on the second pair. It was the size of a pencil tip this morning. Now it is the size of a 2 entire pencils and getting bigger. I have never seen this before. I was not at work today and just cleaning around the house. In both cases i don't know what even caused the hole. I have one pair left. I will see what happens. I have worn wrangler before and never had this problem. I got these because they stated rugged. I threw the first pair out because i could not wear them to work, i am saving the second pair, but as of now i cant wear them to work. Looks very unprofessional. I don't complain often but i am at a loose for these jeans crumbling.

I wish wrangler would be more consistent. I've purchased quite a few pairs of jeans since i tend to destroy them quickly. I know wrangler relaxed fit fits me best. Since that is the only thing i wear, i find it frustrating when the "watch pocket" is over an inch deeper in some pairs, which i like, and far too shallow in the pair i just got. I use this pocket for my phone. This time it is shallow enough and wide enough that my phone didn't survive getting out of the car. It is just a matter of habit to use that pocket for that function.

These must be some knock off wranglers. I can buy mine in walmart 40x30 relaxed fit jeans and they fit every time, but since i am posted in thailand i needed to order them online. First thing i noticed was the tag was different, no "premium quality" written on them and the code on the tag was different. Then i put them on, not even close to 40 waist. Since i am out here in thailand returning them isn't an option, my recommendation is to not buy from them here online ever!

Q. Valencia, Rutland says

They are fricking huge! theres enough extra material in the seat, crotch and thigh sections of these pants. Its possible you just take flight in a strong wind. I've always avioded "relax fit" jeans, because they've always felt/looked baggie on a average body shape, such as mine. But the cut of these jeans take it to all new level of stupid. Especially for a pair of jeans that doesn't include "relax cut" in the product description

E. Denise, Georgia

My husband has been wearing relaxed fit wranglers for a good while. The ones he'd been wearing were size 42x32, and fit well. I ordered that size, and they were way too small at the waist. I returned those, and ordered the 44x32. They initially still felt plenty tight, especially across the seat, but stretched out enough to be ok. They are also too long; the one pair measures 33", and the other 33. 5", and his old ones measure 31. 5" it's frustrating, because i hate the hassle of returning something, and do i dare order a 30" length? i have never ever bought him 30" length. You can't beat this price, and i like the dark color, but why can't the sizes in a given brand be more consistent?

M. Walsh, Pays de la Loire says

I bought a pair of these for my husband, who normally wears a size 38/38 or 38/36 in most jeans. I bought these in a 38/38 and they engulf him! there is no way to make them work unless he was to gain 100lbs and grow another foot in length! they are of good quality and were very nice jeans, but wayyyy too big! in fact, with my experience buying wrangler brand jeans theyre always too big. I only gave this product a 3 star because they were such nice quality.

F. Perez, New South Wales

I purchased these because i have been wearing wrangler jeans for years and never had a sizing or quality problem before, so i cut off the tags and threw them in the wash - when i went toput them on i was suprised to find that buttoning them was impossible, and no way was my belt going through those tiny belt loops. I started looking them over, and i do not think wrangler made these. Every pair i have owned has a tag inside the zipper part that gives you the jean number and info. The zipper on these jeans is crap, not the type on all of the others, and the brass button does not have the wrangler name on it, also the leather wrangler patch is not on the back pocket and is completely different. These jeans are going back and i am sending the wrangler folks a copy of this - if this is their product, they should be ashamed to admit it, if not they should protect their trademark. How do you give negative stars?

K. Patton, Newcastle upon Tyne says

I had really expected a better fit from one of the better brand names. I compared with other jeans i had and they were way too tight. It is possible my other jeans were larger than normal so take what i say as only one experience without a lot of size knowledge or expertise. Quality wise they seem excellent. They also seem a bit long but that may mean i have shrunk:) i have to roll up the cuffs. Never had to do that before knee replacements.

. Florence, Indiana

Terrible ! the jeans look like they came used from a thrift store. There are frayed threads around the outsides of the pockets and seams. The seam on one leg is crooked - it wraps half way around to the front. . I have wrangler jeans from a few years ago and they are very good. I guess "out sourcing" the manufacture has pretty much ruined the quality. No, i won't buy wranglers again.

T. Debra, Calderdale says

Nice heavier-weight denim (heavier than most "outdoor/rugged" styles). But these 40x30 are cut and finished like "regular fit 38x30" - nothing feels relaxed about this pair (but sewn-in tag confirms 40x30). The factory (wrangler, like levis has so many spread across se asia) must have been working on an "efficiency award" as not only is the waist a size too tight but so are the butt and thighs (even the denim front pocket inserts are just too small so that every time you sit the white cotton pocket material is pulled up to show when you stand). This is sad because these were my favorite design. Will have to look elsewhere.

J. Guest, Franche-Comte

I have owned several pairs of the wrangler rugged wear jeans and i have always been very happy with the product. They are my work and play jeans. Durable and comfortable for a reasonable price. However, this last pair i purchased my experience has not been as great. The cut has changed where now they fit smaller in the waist, hips, and thighs. Either the cut has changed or wrangler is having them made by a different manufacturer. They still fit and will work okay, but they are definitely not the same jeans i have purchase before. I guess i will go back to carhartt.

O. Jennifer, New Jersey says

Nice pants, but were a little tight around the waist. I have other pants of same waist size which are loose on me. Will try a different mfg. Next time i order.

V. Anonymous, Milton Keynes

When i buy relaxed fit pants / jeans the sizing is on the generous or a little loose side these fit "tight! " if i did not have other jeans to compare them to i would say i missed it on the size that i needed but i have other jeans ( several ) the same size and they fit just right. So i can not give these a good rating!

C. Wimbish, Maryland says

These fit okay at the waist but long in the leg (about an inch longer than my other 29-inch wranglers). Also, after one washing and only two or three wearings, these are already fraying at the ankle hem. They're made of very soft material, which feels good, but obviously does not wear well.

. Imelda, Bourgogne

I've finally figured out why online store doesn't not allow negative stars in it's ratings. I wear a 42 waist. It's tight but i can wear it. So i bought the 44 waist. I can not even get the waistband to within 2" of either edge. Must have been a bad day for the metric to english conversion factors. Learned my lesson of buying clothes on online store.

. Nielsen, Sutton says

In a world of skinny jeans, i was happy wrangler still made relaxed fit. However these pants are anything but. The lower leg is loose, but the relaxed fit stops there. The waist is smaller than the similarly labeled jeans i already own, but that could be forgiven. What cannot be forgiven, is that these jeans were made by someone with no concept of male anatomy. Apparently they designed them on a mannequin that resembles a life sized ken doll, because let me tell you, they do not contain room for any one.

L. Clara, Texas

These are okay but seem to stretch out too much as my husband wears them after a short amount of time. Next time maybe a smaller size would be best to accommodate for the stretch. Good price and not too much fading in color.

G. Lynette, Virginia says

Same great jeans i always get from wrangler, but the site has an error. The jeans i ordered were supposed to be carpenter jeans, the description even included a bullet point that stated "left side hammer loop, right side ruler and tool pockets, " but the picture does not show these extras, and the jeans i received didn't have them either. So the jeans i got were the same ones i always get, and even though i was a little disappointed, is fine. These are good jeans, they fit well, are comfortable, and they are fairly durable for the work i do. The description should be changed to reflect the actual product being shipped. So 3 stars instead of 5.

I. Shirley, Dudley

Jeans were delivered in a timely manner and appear to be a decent quality. I only gave 3 stars because they were about 1 inch short compared to another brand i purchased. For years i wore levi's but the quality has gone down the tubes and frankly they are junk. That being said i decided to buy a pair of wranglers and lee with hopes of finding a replacement for the crappy levi's. Again these seem like a much better quality for the price but i would order them a size bigger for the length.

A. Pearson, Worcestershire says

I bought these for two reasons. 1) they were priced low, so i wouldn't be out too much if they were terrible. 2) the quality of levis is so bad now that i refuse to waste any more money on them. The same is true for some of the other brands as well. Poor denim quality throughout the industry. . These wranglers seem ok. The waist is about an inch or inch and one-half higher than on levis so they feel a bit like wearing trousers instead of jeans. The front pockets are cut too shallow and tend to pull out when removing keys or whatever. Even though they are listed as relaxed fit, they are snug in the thigh area just above the knee compared to a levis relaxed fit. The inseam length is ok, but the waist is maybe a half-inch too small. I think this is because they ride above where i normally wear my jeans, so the measurement is a little off. You might want to keep that in mind when ordering (use a trousers waist size and not a jeans waist size). But they fit ok since i'm in-between sizes anyway, but i'm not sure how much they will shrink. I'll probably wash them in cold water for now. . Update: after 2 cold water washes, every hem on the front and back pockets of the wrangler jeans has rolled over and will not roll back. I'm guessing it is some kind of a shrinkage problem of the threads that makes the hem flip over. Relaxed fit levi jeans washed at the same time didn't roll over. I've downgraded this product from my original 4 stars to 2 stars. The quality is just not there after only a couple of washes.

D. Guest, Derby

Jeans are hard for me to find a comfortable fit for, but these are close and at least consistent from pair to pair when you buy them together. . Pros:. -comfortable around lower legs. -fits the lower waist well for normal to athletic builds. -relatively durable. . Cons:. -darker than in the pictures. -about 4" longer than normal jean length. I usually get 36" and these 34" are about 2" too long. -questionable durability. These are new but the last pair didn't last very long. - while loose around the calves, for those of us with athletic builds the thigh area is mildly tight

. Susana, Oregon says

For a relaxed fit jean, they are a little tight to the specs, much like a non-relaxed fitment is. Well built like any wrangler jean and at a better price than the stores.

R. Lara, North Yorkshire

In normal sized jeans of other brands, i wear a 30w 30l. If i want a looser fit on normal sized jeans, then i'll wear 32x 30l. These are already advertised as "loose fit". I wanted a "looser" fit on these "loose fit" jeans, so ordered a 32w 30l, thinking it would be a 33-34w, that i can shrink over time. These fit more like a 30w 28l. So if you want an actual "loose fit", then add 4 inches to your normal waist and 2" to the length. If you want a snug fit, then order your normal size. Also the front pockets are quite roomy, which is good. Yet the back pockets are narrow and shallow. The "w" is kind of subdued as well.
