Review for /wrangler mens riggs workwear ranger

Price was 34. I didn't realize they were slim leg (boot cut i guess) but since i bought a larger size as the reviews suggested, they fit well. Wear comfortably! would repurchase if i there was a wider leg.

Introduction

I ordered this for my husband, i didn't order what he wanted (by accident) but it turned out he likes these pants better than what he wanted. The quality is great, nice and thick. Hubby likes the extra pockets and he says the fit is great. My opinion, they look nice on him. Wrangler Men's Riggs Workwear Big & Tall Ranger Pant Review (Wrangler)

Purchased february 8, 2013. I work on a farm and ranch and handle fence posts and barbed wire and thorny brush and building materials frequently. I needed tougher pants than plain jeans. Jeans snag and tear and wear and rip at and above my knees. So i ordered a pair of riggs to test out. I'm pleased. The threads are big and heavy and the weave is very tight. So far thorns can't get a purchase on the fabric to snag. The only snagging i've had is the little side pockets will sometimes get hooked by the lower kitchen cabinet knobs but that is not the pant's fault. The fabric and weave is very wear resistant so far. . Five stars, from me. . Just a heads-up. As i said the threads are heavy. That means when you kneel onto your knees you can feel every thread mashing into your skin. It can hurt. Especially if you're a big guy like me. But pain comes with the territory of manual labor, so it seems. "c'est la vie" -Y. Marguerite

PROS
  • I absolutely love these pants they are my go to pants almost everyday. The only down side is that since i have such a big waist 50 inches that the legs are more baggy than i would ultimately like. But overall these pants take a beating day in and day out
  • Have three pairs now - job is incredibly rough on clothes (and weight goes up and down almost monthly). These last 3-4 years. Average for 3x expensive "work jeans" is about 12-13 months. Definitely will stick with the wrangler brand.
CONS
  • The pants seem durable. The fabric is doubled on wear points. The right pocket is reinforced to deal with 'clips' that might be on a phone or pocket-knife. The pockets are arranged well for personal items. However, the fabric is a 'rip-stop' version. When examined closely the fabric is made up of 1/2 inch squares, with a thick line of weave bordering the fine weave inside the square. I find that this 'rip-stop' does not work as others might regard it. When catching a snag it rips relatively easily either horizontally or vertically. The rip seems to run and is worse than a snag on standard denim. Additionaly, while working with car batteries, should a small amount of battery acid get on the fabric, the fabric will turn a greyish red color and flake away as a powder. For the price, other than the pockets, i do not see how these pants can compare with denim for a working person.
  • These pants are very well made and very tough. They would be perfect work pants for me if it weren't for one thing, an enormous rise (distance from crotch to belt). It seems many manufacturers think that if you need pants with a bigger waist you also need bigger rise. Wrangler is apparently one of them. The waist on the pair i ordered (48) is perfect for me, however if i position the crotch of the pants where it's supposed to go, the belt line of the pants comes up over my belly button. If i position the belt line where it's supposed to go, the crotch sits so low that they are extremely uncomfortable in any position where your legs are spaced further apart than a normal walking gait, which since these are supposed to be work pants, is quite often. These otherwise fantastic work pants are virtually unwearable for me.
  • The pants themselves are nice and look/feel durable. The waist ran small and was snug around the hip area. I think the next size up would be too big

I've bought 3 pairs of these over the last year for work. I'm a deskside support technician in a large office building, and some times i have to get down and dirty. . What's great about these pants is they are both tough and comfortable. I've not had a single issue with the stitching or the fabric ripping. I can wear these all day and still look business casual in them too. . The cargo pockets are good and i'm glad they are buttons instead of velcro. The pockets are deep enough to hold my nexus 6 in its armor case. The leather reinforced pocket lip is perfect for folding knives with a clip. . The only thing i would change is getting rid of the hammer loop.

Click to see NoticeWrangler Men's Riggs Workwear Big & Tall Ranger Pant (Pants)"I've been wearing these pants for two weeks (washing them of course). They are some tough pants. They fit me fine. I am a big guy , 46x30, who works groundskeeping at a municipality. Stoop, bend, crouch, on my knees often. Nice comfortable fit. The fabric is really stiff at first, but after wearing and washing they soften up. Definitely a pair of pants that will last a couple of years. The fabric is probably going to be too thick for summer wear but i shift to shorts as soon as it warms up. For guys who work in jeans year round, the fabric wouldn't bother them. Nice pants, i'm going to order a second pair soon."

(0) Question: How well do this dry?

(1) Question: What size are the belt loops?

(2) Question: Are these generally wrinkle free? most of these cancas pants seem to wrinkle if you look at them wrong.

This is one serious pair of jeans. Heavy duty zipper and construction off these is better than the carhart jeans that i have purchased. I will purchase again. I hope i can find in a different color. I have not looked yet. I would recommend purchase .

Wrangler Riggs Workwear Men's Ranger Pant (wra3w060br) FAQ.

Great heavy duty pants! i ordered one size larger waist based on other reviews and i am glad i did. They run a little small. Putting that aside, these are very well made pants for a reasonable price! very comfortable and they should provide a lot of wear. Don't be afraid to order. -Notice from K. Elizabeth, Haringey

These britches are the bomb. They have a double layer of rip stop fabric from mid-calf to mid thigh. They have cargo pockets which have their own small piggy-back pockets. The pants are generously reinforced internally with a gusset around the tops of the pockets, feature a hammer loop and a leather pad at the right front pocket to resist wear from a tape measure (although that's not where i choose to stick a tape measure. I am very impressed with the value these pants present and plan to get some more in the other colors. Since i posted this review, i bought some more of these on-line. One came missing a belt loop. I contacted the manufacturer, who immediately sent an email return shipping label. It was about three weeks and the repaired/replaced (can't tell which) britches arrived. Very satisfied.

- E. ArnettThese cargo pants look great and are solidly constructed. I initially chose these pants because they are one of the few quality cargo pants that are available in my size and don't cost a fortune. I have been very pleased with these pants and just ordered another pair in a different color. I especially like that some of the pockets feature snap closures instead of velcro. Because of the heavy duty material they are a bit heavy, which takes a little getting used to, it may be an issue for some but hasn't bothered me. Edit: i received the 2nd pair and found an inconsistency that i will mention here. The first pair i bought, in dark brown, fit perfectly and are the excellent pants i rated 5 stars and described above. However, the 2nd pair, in black are far longer that 1st pair even though they are labeled as the same size. The waist is fine, but the i have to cuff the legs otherwise i am stepping on them, they are so long. I don't know if they were mislabeled, or defective, or these pants are normally that inconsistent in size. I still like the pants and it is only a very minor annoyance to have to cuff one pair, so i still say i like these pants.

Good pants. . I wear 36 x 34 in wrangler relaxed fit. I thought i had read in the reviews that these run short and tight. I bought 38 x 36 the first time. The waist fit but they were way too long. I bought 38 x 32 the second time. They fit well. I like to wear my pants somewhat loose. Returning the 1st pair was pretty easy. It does say in the fine print that you have to use the original plastic shipping envelope and the original packaging materials to get a full refund. I opened the envelope with a knife and rest of the shipping were thrown away before i returned. I used the stuff from the second pair. I got an online store gift card credited to my account as soon as they were entered into the shipping system by ups. I plan to buy more in the fall. Too heavy for me for summer in texas. They get wet and do not dry out quickly. They stick to my legs and restrict movement. I would call them medium weight. Heavier than the cargo pants i bought from bass pro and lighter than carhart. I do like the amount and placement of the pockets. They could use a small tight pocket for a carpenters pencil

Great trousers lots of strong stitching, really durable and tough for a work environment, love the reinforced crotch area and thigh areas (this is the reason i bought them, havent seen any other manufacturer do this). But their are just very baggy. Tape holder is a good addition and hook for hammer etc. Should get years out of them , just would like them a bit better fitting!

These riggs workwear utility wrangler jeans sit comfortably at natural waist. Button waist with brass zipper fly. Heavy-duty belt loops. 13" deep front pockets. Patented leather tape measure reinforcement on right front pocket. Cordura, a durable abrasion and tear resistant material, lines the back pockets. Oversized watch pocket. Reinforced front panels on legs and stress areas for added durability. Triple needle stitching. Riggs workwear label on back left pocket. Imported.

Wrangler Riggs Workwear Men's Utility Jean (wra3w030ai) FAQ.

I bought these, for my husband as they have become my "go to" brand; for him, through the years. I have - overall - bought 3 to 4 pairs of these, for him, through the years (like i already said). This pair is made a bit different, as they have an extra layer - of the thick denim fabric - sewn over the knee and shin areas. We were just as happy, with this pair - even with the different styling. They are still the very well made jeans, that they have always been - with the nice thick, quality denim fabric. My husband does a lot, around the house and these jeans still last a long, long time; through the yard work, sprinkler system work, car work, etc. They also hold up, through many washings. You definitely get your money's worth! i won't buy him anything else, when it comes to jeans! -Notice from U. Palmer, Schleswig-Holstein

These will stand the test of time. They look better every wash . My hubby says they keep him warm and are his most comfortable work pants . Double knee material helps also. Will definitely purchase again.

The F.A.Q. for Wrangler Men's Riggs Workwear Big & Tall Ranger Pant (Pants)

I love these pants; i've been wearing wrangler riggs carpenter jeans for a long time, and thought i'd pick up some of these to have different colors. . Word of advice, though; these pants come in slightly smaller than the riggs jeans sizes, so i'd order them a bit larger in the waist if you enjoy the usual fit of wrangler jeans. . Also, the phone pocket is slightly smaller, just different enough that my s6 fits in the jeans, but but not into these. . Overall, i'm still very satisfied with this line of pants, and intend to keep getting them.

A number of questions have been asked here.

I have several of the wranglervrigfs workwear shorts and decided to give the pants a try. Comfortable fit and quick drying. The ripstop fabric is exactly what i need for my work environment. Looks great with work boots. Ordered multiple colors! can't go wrong with these.

Best wrangler men's riggs workwear big & tall ranger pant (pants) in review

I love these pants and have worn them for years as work pants. They are tough and have served well. I also love the snaps on the pockets as i personally have a hatred for velcro. I recently ordered two different sizes as i have gone down in waist size and didn't know which would fit properly. The 44" waist pants (these) were a little big in the waist but huge in the seat, crotch, and legs. The size 42 pants were just about right in the waist but were cut from a much smaller pattern. They were much less baggy. Maybe i received a pair that was made a little off, but i just wanted to mention it. Otherwise, these are the same great pants i have worn for years.

. Pearson, Kentucky says

Good work pants, the leather spot on the pocket is great to clip your knife to when you need to get easy reach for it for work. No complaints! the gusset is also spot on. Fits like a glove!

G. Kimberly, Baden-Wuerttemberg

Like most people in the trades, you try every different type of work wear available from cheap to expensive. I would consider these more towards the low to mid priced ranged at $38. For the price so far they have held up to everything i put them through, and still look nice enough to wear in a business casual office environment. . I am a building maintenance manager and do everything from working on chillers and boilers to attending meetings, and these have proven up to the task. These run true to size of there blue jeans (which i also wear) but are cooler than jeans in the summer, and if you get them dirty its very easy to brush them clean. ; they are a little stiff and "loud" when you walk when new, but that goes away after a couple of washings. . The pockets are big, deep, and have snaps (way better than buttons) to keep everything you put in them from getting lost. I have crawled through attics, crawl spaces, and tunnels, and everything is still there when i come out. They have plenty of room for movement, so squatting and bending is not restricted. The knees are reinforced and i expect they should hold up fine. . Overall if i can get a years worth of wear out of these, i would consider them well worth the money.

H. Adrienne, Barking and Dagenham says

These are my favorite pants. I don't think they make them anymore. Overall, these pants are very well made and should last a lifetime. The material is some sort of rip-stop cotton, and very hard wearing. The pockets are edged at the back w/ some sort of binding to protect against wear and makes getting into the pockets easier. Pop fasteners are sturdy and reliable, the leather touches on the front right pocket is cool and help protect against wear from keys. Work-class work wear.

M. Carrie, New Hampshire

Great pants. Tough as hell. I ve been wearing them (riggs) for about 5 years and they are my favorite pants. I usually have about 8 or 9 pairs (pants and shorts) at a given time. They last me about 2 years before i wear holes in them (usually the edge of the front left pocket and the front of the thighs above the double knee). I m a fabricator and these pants get exposed to a lot (welding, grinding, sparks, hot and sharp metal) but the hold strong. Toward the end of their lifespan, when they are soft and broken in, they are hard to get rid of. My wife hates that i still wear them when they have holes in em. Hard to let go.

V. Alma, California says

These are super strong pants but i would never wear these as an every day pants. They are not comfortable to wear as stated for every day wear but are awesome for serious workwear. I wish they were slightly roomier and only wear these with suspenders.

Z. Anonymous, Northamptonshire

The riggs ripstop pants are very comfortable. They are designed to be a little roomier than normal pants. This is very helpful in construction with lifting and carrying. The pockets are solid and roomy. My only complaint would be that there is no phone pocket. Wrangler has these in their normal cargos, why not in these? very durable material, double knees, leather tape measure reinforcement. A great value.

D. Sheila, Halton says

These work pants fit perfectly, are as comfortable as you could wish for and are very well made. The pockets have lining across the tops to keep them from fraying. There is plenty of pocket space without looking ridiculous like some trousers out there. The belt loops are large and wide so that a wide belt can be used to help support that hammer or power screwdriver, the ripstop fabric is holding up in spite of many brushes with rough material. And, did i mention they look great even for everyday wear? wrangler does it again. I'm getting a couple more in different colors.

E. Palmer, Victoria

Nice rugged pair of pants with storage that isn't too baggy. So far so good. I'm nervousness to see how much the edges flair and how well it will do in the washing machine. Also, not sure how the metal buttons are going to hold up to corrosion. I'm a big guy 6'2" 340. I purchased the 48*30 pair. Also, i thought the bark would be a little bit light than it came.

O. Audrey, Bracknell Forest says

I appreciate well constructed and durable things. The metal zipper, the snap closures on the cargo pockets, the protective edge on the pocket for your tape measure, and the double thickness of the knees scream durable and well wearing. Thank you riggs workwear!

R. Powell, Tasmania

These "ranger pants" are in cargo pants thigh-pocket style with a faux military look, and a relaxed-fit straight leg. The product photos accurately depict the style. They are well-made, in mexico, of us-made heavyweight rip-stop cotton canvas-type fabric that appears very durable and is both protective and comfortable to wear. Design and construction of the pants is rugged and suitable for heavy duty. The rugged, durable construction is reflected in weight of the garment: more than two and a quarter pounds in my size - about a quarter pound heavier even than heavy denim jeans. The outer leg seams are triple stitched; the fork gusset is reinforced; knees and front thigh are double-thickness; and the back pockets have reinforced lining and anti-fray edges. The large side thigh pockets have serious carrying capacity, with double-stitching and bellows design, as well as smaller outer sleeve pockets on the right side suitable for items like mobile phones, pens or small tools, and a strong fabric loop that also can be used for light tools. The seven belt loops are strongly sewn and reinforced, and wide enough to easily take belts up to two inches width. The fly closure is a smooth-working brass zipper. . One of the most notable aspects of this product for my requirements is that it is offered in longer than regular leg lengths. My 36x36 size is hard to find in men's casual pants or jeans - typically 36-inch waist pants come only in a 34-inch inner leg measurement. The range of fractional-fitting sizes offered is exceptional: waist sizes from 29 to 60 inches, with inner leg lengths from 30 to 36 inches. . The price (only $41. 99 when purchased) is also exceptionally good value for money for such a well-made garment. Initially i bought two pairs in this "bark" khaki color. I liked them so much i reordered a third pair in the "loden" olive drab green color riggs workwear by wrangler men's ranger pant, loden. If i succeed in wearing these out, i would certainly buy this style again, or other similar pants from the same riggs workwear brand. I really cannot find a fault with the garment design, quality or price, so i have to give it a full five stars. These are the best heavy duty work pants i have ever owned, and are probably "world's best". . Highly recommended to men with similar problems to me in finding fractional-fitting leg lengths in casual or heavy duty work pants, and to anyone looking for this general style.

N. Denise, Havering says

I get the ranger pants as well the ranger short (review appart). The quality of this pants are something never seen by my. I'm a big guy, and always have this problem where the crotch wears by rubbing. The fabric of these pant looks and feels very resistant. The fitting is perfect as expected (i used other models from wrangler, so i knew that i am 46). Love the cordura reinforcement in the back pockets and the reinforcement stitching on all pockets. It has a double layer of fabric on the legs between the half of the pocket down to midway between knee and ankle. The color is an spectacular sand tan tone.

Q. Judith, Newcastle upon Tyne says

Nice loose fitting pants. These pants also have a gusseted crotch which i don't think was in the item description, for me this is a plus. Loden is a sort of olive drab color which i really like because it hides dirt well. Time will tell as to the durability as i have only just received these.

F. Whiteman, Thueringen

These are perfect for me! tough! rugged! well made! i generally wear blue jeans but when dressing up (except for weddings, funerals or such) i put a pair of these on! plenty of pockets for all my essentials like wallet, keys, mobile phone, passport, leatherman, spring-loaded knife, small concealed carry, etc. I just wish the color selection included khaki and olive green. Maybe even camo. I'm not into camo myself but a lot of people are. Also, i'm a fairly large guy requiring 48x32. Selection in that size range is getting a little slim.

T. Edith, Plymouth says

I bought these for use as a costume in a stage play (richard iii). They were purchased just a week before opening night, so if they didn't fit well, i was in a pickle. Out of the package, they were comfortable and well-fitting. The costume designer was very happy. I have a 30" inseam and bought the same size. I find they run a little long. If a 29" had been available, i'd have been better off. I know these are meant as work pants, but, in the color "loden, " they served as an acceptable substitute as part of my costume as a combat soldier. Since i made the purchase, when the show ends, i will keep the pants and put them into service for house painting and 'fix-it' jobs around the house. They are sturdy, serious work clothes.

U. Elanor, Lorraine

Heavy duty material and i anticipate they can take a beating with hard use. Probably because they are new, they are still a bit stiff. Comfortable for big & tall size, however, i do not know if i will be able to wear these during the florida summer months.

I. Julie, Blackburn with Darwen says

Good heavy duty material, good design. They have lots of deep pockets, with a leather reinforcement where you can hang a clip on tape measure. Good rise in crotch. Roomy gusset. Knees and legs have built in venting to help keep your legs cool. Overall i'm very satisfied, but would order a size smaller and shorter next time. They came several inches too long and had to be hemmed up. Great work pants for tradesmen, construction, or industrial work. But they are stylish enough that you don't look like you're wearing a work uniform.

A. Stacey, Richmond upon Thames

These arrived stiff like canvas but broke in nicely with the first wash, and are not as thick as jeans. I washed them three times so far and the colors are mottling a little, especially where they were clearly "bunched"during the wash/dry cycle - a little more than i'd expect but not a deal-breaker since appearance isn't the most important thing to me.

K. Juliana, Rotherham says

These pants are very well made, i like them well enough that i bought a second pair in grey. The rip-stop fabric is thick and well stitched. The leather pocket protector for pocket knives is a nice touch. Before buying these pants, you should know that these pants have no "give". This fabric is very unforgiving to "love handles" because they absolutely do not stretch at all. That is not a criticism, it's just the nature of the fabric. The sizes are quite accurate, the quality very good. These pants are both rugged and full featured. I highly recommend them.

B. April, York

Balls out the best pants i've ever owned. My wife used to get pissed because i'd talk about my glock 42, then she was mad when i got new tires (general at2's), now she wants me to talk about the glock and tires again. Already ruined a pair, wrangler took em' back (per the lifetime warranty) and i've got new pants. Eat it 5-11. You over priced junk. Ps, i'm a cop and these are now my daily uniform since i train other cops. They get to hear how awesome these pants are and on occasion i do allow people to touch them.

Disadvantage and Critical reviews

A. Anonymous, Kentucky says

The color is much more green than khaki, and stitching came loose just after one wear. Threads are coming loose at half the seams, and a belt loop already came off. It hasn't even been a week and i find myself regularly trimming the loose threads. Also the shipping was quick, so that was great. Fabric feels pretty sturdy, lots of pockets, stylish, so an overall a okay deal, but b/c of the stitching coming loose i wouldn't order again.

V. Betty, Sandwell

I was hoping to use these pants as a more durable casual pair of pants to wear when i go out and about exploring through different places. However, i was disappointed to see that the pants are really quite stiff (well starched? ), even after a wash. I'll still keep the pants, and hope that as time goes on and i wear them from time to time, they'll become softer, but i'm less than thrilled with them because of that. I suppose i was expecting them to be more like the levis i wore before or at least like a nice pair of jeans. . Otherwise, the pockets are nice and deep, albeit stiff, so they are great for carrying the thing you need. They fit me well and we'll just have to see how durable they are over time.

C. Anonymous, Pays de la Loire says

Almost everything about these pants were wrong. The size is wrong, they are not even new pants. There was a receipt and business card in the pocket and other signs of wear as well. The style is wrong also. I ordered ranger pants with cargo pockets and these are carpenter style.

R. Kellie, Oldham

Ordered a size bigger than usual and they fit like a size smaller. 2 stars because the overall material and such are good but if you were 40 order 44. Since they are cut for the waste to be pulled up high they also block leg movement since they slide down. The length in your legs is consistant but waste size isnt.

G. Perez, Pennsylvania says

The quality of these pants are really good and durable, but they do not fit me right, the size i bought is spot on but they don't seem to hang on my butt right at all, even with a belt they still seem to fall down over time and the legs are tight on me.

E. Gladys, Languedoc-Roussillon

I was very impressed with the heavy duty materials and thoughtful design. Until the stitching started coming out of one of the leg pocket after the 2nd wash. Now i am less impressed. All the effort put into materials and design (and it looks like alot) is useless if my pants spontaneously turn into assless chaps because of poor stitching. The manufacturer should consider gluing or sealing the stitching ( and firing its current seamstress ) as is standard in maritime fabric items designed for hard use in the field. The pants themselves are a wonderful design. They fit very well, the color of the tan pants is darker than the picture shown, almost an olive or dark earth but after my initial shock i would say i like it better than the color in the picture. The fabric is massively heavy, similar to the outer layer of fireman's bunker gear and will no doubt take a lot of punishment. The front of the legs is double thick. Rip stop weaving is evident throughout all the fabric. The leg pockets secure with heavy brass snaps that appear high quality, they are slimmer to the leg than bdu leg pockets, which is good unless you plan to smuggle armadillo's in your leg pockets, when carrying items like tools and mags they allow less slapping around than bdu leg pockets and hold items firmly. 3- 30rd magpuls should fit nicely. There are numerous extra small pockets built in throughout the pant who's purpose i have yet to discover. The front and back pockets are spacious and made of strong material. The right front pocket has a leather gusset, but only the right front pocket, which i feel should be remedied to include both, for those of us who carry knives on the left. The zipper is a heavy brass ykk design and feels sturdy enough to circumsize an elephant. These pants are the best and most rugged design i have ever worn, if they get their quality control problems solved they would beat tru-spec and 5. 11 hands down.

. Donna, Waltham Forest says

Took two stars off as the size is somewhat small around waist and fits very tight. All other areas are very comfortable fitting for the most part. Other than that though i will reorder just next time i will get a size up. These pants are very comfortable and look wonderful.

P. Brendon, Lewisham

A bit short between crotch and waist. For work pants, they should have more room.

F. Barbara, Luton says

Purchased these for my husband because he had two pair of wrangler riggs workwear pants, in other colors, and they are his favorite pants. These, however, are definitely not as heavy duty as the others that we previously bought elsewhere. I don't know what changed but this pair already has a small tear in them and my husband says the material doesn't feel the same. They fit as expected but he is disappointed.

K. Smith, Knowsley

Nice design. Pour quality. Tear easy, button fell off

. Joanne, Wisconsin says

I've worn these for about a week now since buying them. I don't regret the purchase. I am confident that they will hold up well over time. The problem is that they don't fit well. I'm a big guy (54*30) and expected these to fit more like a pair of slacks rather than jeans. In fact they don't fit like either. I ordered a size accurate pair, which sits well at my natural waist. The pants weren't sown with a seat to them, there's no shape from the rear belt loops down to the gusset. Thankfully, they compensated for that design flaw, but unfortunately the compensation is to have the inseam sit extremely low. I'm left with 2 options: wear at natural waist with the inseam at just above my knees, or wear them pulled up to almost my armpits like a ninety year old man. Neither way is particularly comfortable while driving or sitting. You can still get about an 80% range of motion, so they aren't the worst work pants i've owned. They leave a lot to be desired in fit, but the strength of materials, and overall appearance redeems them somewhat.

. Kristen, West Berkshire

I like the pants, nothing wrong with them. I have 5 pairs of these pants first 3 pairs were a while back. 30 insead too short and 32 just right, order the 32 and have the inseam hemmed up 4-6 inches on last two pairs. I havent tried to order the 30's but given my luck they will be too short.

T. Alma, Vermont says

The pairs of pant that fit are great. The problem is i ordered 7 pair over a moths time, all had the same size tags but 4 of them were not the correct size. Because i like the ones that fit i keep returning the wrong ones hoping to eventually get ones that all fit the same. It's very frustrating.

I. Pamela, New Hampshire

These pants went from being manufactured in mexico, to now being made in guatamala. . (( bad management decesion! )) the sizes are running a full 2" size smaller than usual. I purchased three more of these pants and all three were a size smaller in fit that my first pair i bought last year! . . The older pants were loose around the crotch, buttox, waist and hip areas, so when we bend over were not cramping up our privates. I would have to now order a full size larger than before. . And now the price has gone up on these pants! too bad! . . I think i might look elsewhere in the future for my purchases

Z. Dorothy, Northamptonshire says

Bought these for work where i am up and down ladders constantly and need extra pockets. These are a straight fit, so they are not really my preference as a big&tall fella. There is not a lot of room in the hips and seat area. I'll still wear them occasionally, but they are not my first choice. The material is rugged but very rough and stiff. There feel almost as if they have been starched, even after being washed and worn multiple times. . The only other minor issue is the cargo pockets. They are functional, but they are just a standard pocket without any "bulge" room built into them. Think of them as pockets similar to the ones on the back of jeans. They are not really made to easily hold bulky items.

J. Anonymous, Derby

These pants were way to stiff in the legs my husband couldn t even squat down.

Y. Alberta, Iowa says

Love the fit and feel of these pants. The extra pockets are great for carrying my phone, etc. This is my second pair as the first pair developed a tear after about 4-5 months or so. I attributed the tear to use, so i bought this other pair. Now, 6 weeks later, the's pants tore in the exact same spot. It is a spot right at the seam where the zipper is, so it's near impossible to fix. For the price, i would expect them to last longer. . Update: i have tried to contact wrangler's customer service 3 times within a month after writing this review. Their site says to expect a response within 24 hours during the week and 72 hours on the weekend. I have still not gotten a response. Kind of a shame since i buy a lot of their products. Way to keep your customers satisfied, wrangler!

D. Alba, Hertfordshire

Awsome pants, could've seen myself using them for years. Unfortunately, i seem to be in a minority of men who are in possession of an actual posterior and hips. It doesn't help that i'm overweight as well. Still the seat in these is rather shallow and narrow for something that's supposed to be relaxed fit for big and tall guys. While i'm standing the waist fits fine, the hips fit fine, the legs fit fine, the crotch fits fine, it does ride up a little in the back though. When i sit however, the seat of the pants stretches tight, it pulls the front of the waistband into my gut like a lasso, and the back of the waistband sits open far enough for me to slide my hand in sideways against my back. Since everything is done as cheaply as possible nowadays there's absolutely no extra cloth along the seams so i can't even take these to a tailor to have the seat let out. Bottom line i imagine that if these pants fit you you'll love them, but if you have anything resembling a backside or hips they probably won't.

H. Elida, Nord-Pas-de-Calais says

I wear a 42x34 or sometimes a 44x34 depending on the cut of the jeans. So i figured for these i'd size up because they are for work and i'd like them to fit roomy, so i ordered a 46x34. Thank god i did, they just fit. Everywhere else is a good fit, the length is true to size, and they are a good fit thru the thigh and leg, they seem to be well made, but the waist is a tight fit. Make sure you order up a size or two when purchasing these pants

X. Beale, Stockton-on-Tees

Just got these today (7/10/14) and just at first glance you can tell these are a great pair of pants. They are pretty well constructed together, material looks nice and sturdy. They only thing i have a problem with is the sizing. I shouldn't have listened to the lower rated reviews. They say that it runs small. So thinking sense i'm a larger guy (pant size 50-52) i went ahead and got a size larger (54). Shouldn't have gone along with those reviews. But a lot of people were right, they do run long so be prepared. But will definitely wear these with boots. Once i contact online store to get a smaller size.

B. April, Hessen says

No flexibility. They are stiff as a board. Also the quality control is bad. My first pair arrived with 3 missing beltloops from factory! i literally had no beltloops in back! these pants suck. Sorry wrangler but good gosh, take a que from diluth trading company.

. Whiteman, Thurrock

Incorrect size label - great pants. The size label is incorrect. I had a seamstress measure the pants. The waist size on the label said 50 inches, they actually measured 52 inches. Caveat emptor, buyer beware when purchasing these. Otherwise, great pants.

W. Marguerite, Queensland says

These pants are too expensive but made very well. Only problem for me is the weight. You may have to build up your thigh muscles in order to wear these things.

Q. Lawrence, Centre

The pants are about 2 inches to large on the waist and length. The other pants i ordered at the same time that are suppose to be the same time fit great, but these pants are huge in comparison. I do like the material and construction but they are embarrassing to wear out in public due to the size.

U. Guest, Westminster says

They hold up pretty well and fit great. However, they start getting holes along the fold lines after a few months.

L. Newell, Alberta

Better go up a size, the material fades a bit with use but the durability is off the charts. I have 3 pr and wear them everyday to work 5 days a week so wearing and washing are a constant.

O. Angela, Cheshire says

I like these pants, but they are not rugged. I have 4 of these pants and all have holes in them where things in the pockets push on the material. None of my other pants have done this. The rib stop material works to prevent the holes from getting larger. I just wish the material was tougher. As a result i think these pants are over priced. If i could get more than 3 months out of these i would be okay with price.

. Broyles, York

Initially loved these right out of the box. Bought for my husband's birthday so they sat for a few weeks until he was aloud to open haha. Washed them before the 1st wear as we do with all new clothes - not only did these fade a considerable amount, all of the color was washed out in multiple little splotches? so now they have never been worn. And look like we ran them through a bleach cycle :( very unhappy. Especially since they are not cheap.
