Review for /timberland pro mens titan safety toe

Price was 101. Nice comfortable boot. 11. 5 size is as stated, 11. 5. Fits well. Light enough for a boot. Good traction. No binding points on me. Good reviews seem deserved!

Preface

I neede to replace an old pair of worx steel toe boots that i had bought around 10 years ago, and rarely wear. I visit plants where i have to wear boots, but do not have to in my normal routine. I also have toe nail fungus that makes things a bit difficult sometimes with tight toes in shoes and boots. . I got the boots last week and tried them on, wearing them for a few hours. They are much lighter in weight than my old pair, and felt great! i am sure that they will not cause any issues with blisters or toe discomfort when i wear them. They also look very good, which is a plus. I keep them in my car so i can quickly change into them when needed. . I would recommend these to anyone who needs a wide boot, and likes to be comfortable wearing them! The Best mens titan safetytoe ( Sep 2019 ) | Timberland Pro-Shoes Review Spotlight Timberland PRO Men's Titan 6" Safety-Toe Boot Full-grain leather work boot with powerfit comfort system for ultimate all-day wear featuring moisture-channeling air-mesh comfort lining with agion treatment to keep foot dry. Timberland Pro Mens Titan Safety Toe Shoes

PROS
  • These were purchased for my son, who is a manager at a warehouse. He is on his feet all day, and needed something comfortable, yet safe around heavy crates, and machinery. He loves these boots. This is the second pair i have ordered from online store and this company. Repeat customers are the testimony of quality, and value. This is the best price out there for these boots.
  • This is the best steel toe work boot out there. My husband wears them right out of the box and he says they are so comfortable. No need for that painful break in period. They are very safety conscious styling with the steel toe and the oil resistant bottom. They cost alot more than this in local stores. My husband buys a new pair of these about once a year and they hold up vet well because he has to work 6 days a week 10 hour days and that would put wear and tear on any boot but not this one. It very durable! order your normal size because they do not run large nor small. They are true to size. Highly recommended! . *update i just bought another pair because the price dropped on these. I found them out in town for $120. 00 but they were $89. 56 on here! that is a big savings. Never hurts to have an extra pair tucked away just incase they hubby needs them or even worse, they quit making this style! my hubby has worn this same boot for 5 years now and he will not wear any other work boot. He has went through 3 pair in the last 5 years but we can't complain because he is always on his feet and on rough surfaces! he says they have that "already broken in feeling as soon as you put them on your feet"! when hubby is happy. I am happier!
CONS
  • They suck, cheap version of my original pair and paid 24. 95 more.
  • These boots last about 6 months, then they crack in the middle. I love the way they feel when you work on your feet all day, however, they don't last as long as they should. I have owned about 14 pairs in the last 8 years. They always crack straight across the middle. All the way through. Very disappointing. I go up and down a ramp all day long and these should last longer then 6-8 months for what your paying for them. Or have some kind of warranty on them.
  • My husband loves them. Very comfortable and doesn't have to break them in like some workboots. Only bummer is soles you split after 4-6 months. He works on doors so squats down or on his knees quite abit. So we have to buy them a couple times a year.

Timberland PRO Men's Anti-Fatigue Technology Replacement Insole

Just had to trim to fit as expected , have used for a week now and can tell an improvement in the way feet feel in the evening , i am on concrete biggest part of the day .

The timberland pro anti-fatigue technology insoles are very unique because they have an inverted cone design that is lightweight and supportive. They feature a superior shock absorption and energy return. These insoles are anatomically contoured to cradle the foot to provide maximum comfort and support. The dynamic arch design adapts to all foot shapes for maximum support and comfort.

Timberland Pro Men's Anti-fatigue Technology Replacement Insole (91621) FAQ.

I don't have anything negative thing to say. I have had anti fatigue boots with this type of insoul before and it worked great! i have a different type of boot that doesn't have ant fatigue soles ao i bought the anti fatigue insoles. This has been my second day wearing the insoles and it seems to be working. -Notice from R. Theresa, Niedersachsen

Changing my initial review and upgrading these to a 5-star. These are now my go-to insole for all shoes and boots. They have held up very well and provide more comfort that other insoles i have tried since initially purchasing these.

Timberland-pro-men's-anti-fatigue-technology-replacement-insole-(91621) set picture

- Y. ValdezComfortable insoles. I installed these in carhart boots the minute i received them. They are much thicket and conform to the door. They provide good cushion and support. So far holding up really well to 3 months of hard daily abuse.

So far so good. I bought these to replace the flimsy insoles in a pair of wolverine boots i bought to wear around the house, and they are a whole lot better than the original, and the quality was excellent for the price i paid on online store. I was not expecting them to be as thick as they were. Been using for a couple weeks now and so far i would definitely buy these again. I wear 11. 5 so i bought the 12-13 size and used the old insoles to trace and trim them down to size and it worked great.

The F.A.Q. for Timberland Pro Men's Titan 6 Safety-toe Boot (26064)

I'm now on my third pair of these boots and they're still great. I wear them with green superfeet, and they are not just the most comfortable boots i've ever worn, they're the most comfortable shoes of any style that i currently own. I don't remember how long i wore the first pair before downgrading them to yard work and painting duties and replaced them, but my second pair survived about 16 months (480 days), of which i wore them the majority of probably at least 350, possibly 400 days. Even now they're not completely dead, and a bit of shoe goo might keep them in good service for a while longer. . I discovered my first pair in a brick and mortar store, and found that a wide size fit me best, which i might not have otherwise ordered. That "wide" (2e) is also nowhere near as wide as the superfeet, which i had to trim way down. However, i haven't tried putting a normal width (d) superfeet in them so i can't say whether that would fit well. . Note that to get to the "most comfortable shoe" status they do require a break-in period of several wearings, and i need to carefully tighten the laces more in some parts than in others. . They don't breathe particularly well - my feet come out pretty sweaty at the end of the day, even having spent most of the day sitting in an office. However, walking long periods in them has never bothered me. I haven't tried using them for sports, but i suspect they would be too big and too hot.

I purchased these after a bit of research into many brands of safety shoes. Job requirements were to purchase steel or composite safety toe with eh electrical hazard rating and meeting ansi z41 pt99 and astm f2413-11. There were not too many reviews out there compared to researching cars or cameras. I found a few good reviews for these, i was looking for comfort. After working in them for a full week, they have been very comfortable. On the job for the last 25 years, i have worn boots similar to these, hikers, shoes and sometimes safety sneakers. If you are comfortable in this type of shoe, these are a great choice.

V. Miller, Tasmania

Very comfortable and light. I work 11 hour shifts on deck on ferry boats and i need a light comfortable safety boot. So far these are perfect. I am worried about the durability issues some of the other reviewers mentioned so i will be back in a few months with an update one way or the other. . Update january, 2015 - 14 months later. Still ticking, still has plenty of sole left. The leather is soft so they look real beat up. The toes wore through in just a month or two and i had to paint some kg's boot guard toe protection on them. I went to a pair of these in the low cut for the summer months so these boots got some time off and will last me another year. I will buy again.

. Edith, Plymouth says

My husband is on his third pair of these. They last longer and are far more comfortable than most safety boots, and he wears them every day. Also, most safety boots don't come in his very wide size, these do. So, worth the price, and happy i can conveniently order them on online store, because he can get what we know works and fits without him having to take time off to go find them in a mall or shoe store. Quick shipping, too.

W. Sherry, Michigan

Timberland, shoes are the most comfortable, and safe shoes i have ever owned, this is my second pair. Other brands that i have owned do not live up to the, oil resistant, and anti slip sole. These however deliver on what they promise, i had the previous pair about a year and a half, and the bottom of one shoe split through from side to side, even though this happend i still have ordered this same item number because of the comfort, . I own my own automotive shop and are hard on shoes, even though the other pair split i still highly recommend this shoe, because its all about your feet. If your feet are not taken care of it transfers the pain and discomfort through your legs into your back and shoulders and soon you won't feel like working at all.

M. Susana, New Hampshire says

I learned a hard lesson a long time ago. When it comes to steel toe shoes, you get what you pay for. If proper fit and comfort are important, then price has to be a secondary consideration. This makes the 5th pair of timberland shoes i've owned, and i've always been satisfied with the comfort. Easy on the feet, right out of the box. No painful 'break-in period'. I work in the production warehouse of a plastics company. It's a 12-hour shift, lots of time on a hard concrete floor and getting up and down off a forklift. Plus, time outside on gravel and asphalt, hooking up and pumping rail cars of resin. These boots handle it all quite well. My feet will feel a little tired at the end of the shift, but no painful cramps or blisters from ill-fitting or poorly made shoes. . I used to be a rocky guy years ago, but switched to timberland when rocky ceased making my favorite boot. Timberland is the only other brand i've found that matches the old rocky boots in comfort and durability. I've noted what reviewers have said about problems with the soles splitting/coming apart on timberland. Of the 5 pairs i've owned, the sole split on two. One after only a few months, and the other happened after more than a year (by that point, it was time to replace the shoes anyway). So i wonder if it's an issue with inconsistent quality on the sole material? my other boots have been fine and never suffered that fate. Overall, i would buy timberland again. They're hard to beat for great comfort and good fit.

R. Mays, Havering

I work on 300 foot towers and have been using these boots for over 6 months; i will buy these again when they fail in a couple of years. . Size:. Timberland run bigger than most other boots in my experience and after trying on at retail store i bought a size down. They also offer wide sizes which is a big plus for me. . Comfort:. Out of the box they are very comfortable, the insert is very good quality. I have worked 12+ hours on my feet and they feel great at the end of the day. However; i went on a hike in them the first day and the rear heel shank on the left boot gave me a lot of discomfort, but hasn't bothered me since. I don't recommend hiking in them. . Durability:. The soul is coming off around the edges, and the red tread on the bottom is starting to peel off, but can be glued back. The leather on the steel toe seems to get chewed up faster than the rest of the boot but it hasn't split open yet. I don't expect the boot to last more than a couple of years but i would buy again since there is no break in time. . Very comfortable, but kind of pricey for something that doesn't feel built to last.

K. Dorine, Quebec says

About to buy my 3rd pair of these babies- had the pit boss boots before those were ok and did not wear well (after 9 months my back was killing me). These have way better comfort and cushion- on my feet 7-9 hours a day and wear these for some volunteer activities- whoa they can keep up! . . If you are on concrete all the time (like me) the padding starts to give way about 18 months in- i am considering just buying inserts to prolong the life of these. Naturally, after 18 months the leather is super soft and very pliable. Obviously these are not for playing in the dirt. . Previous pair was retired because the sole split under the ball of feet- but had those for the 18 months (lot of bending and foot flexing on the job). . If you need/ want to keep them looking respectable a little black wax works wonders for them. . All around a great shop boot with a sole that will give out after about 18 months of daily usage on concrete.

H. Cindy, Derby

Must say that with my big 11. 5 eee size feet, finding a durable, yet comfortable boot is a big deal. I tried 3 other brands before i bought these babies and the others all let me down. Too hard or too tight. These boots were pliable from day one and there was no break in required. I'm tough on boots because i work in the tent rental industry and i'm always carrying a lot of weight or kicking tent stakes or tent legs and the leather takes plenty of abuse! rest assured for this price they are a steal compared to the boots i paid 150. 00 for and they didn't last 2 weeks. For less then 100. 00 i got a hell of a find. Hope this review helps! keep in mind that you don't need to go too wide because the titanium toe has a lot of room and is broader then most. I bet i would have been fine with 1 e instead of eee. Next time i'll downsize but i wear 2 pairs of socks to cut down on the wiggle room. These will be my winter pair and the next time i'll order one e in width for summer. Also titanium is the way to go! super light! feels like a regular boot! other brands felt like i had dumbbells tied to them! enjoy! . . Update:01/04/13 i put them to the test the past 2 months and they are holding strong! i/m kicking concrete blocks and tent legs and no wear yet! still the most comfortable and durable boot i ever purchased!

N. Guest, Wolverhampton says

In 3 years, this is the 2nd purchase of this work boot. My husband works on the job site each day building decks and screened porches, and has these boots on from 7am-5pm. He said they are very comfortable and worth the money. The first pair needed replaced because the healed started to wear thru and a crack formed along the bottom of it from side-to-side. The steel toe is a definite must have for the construction job site . Protects him from falling tools. The sturdy, thick sole is also a must have . Protect him from anything he steps on . In his college days he stepped on a nail . While wearing sneakers because he couldn't afford work boots . The nail went thru the sneaker and into his foot. Medical bills ensued, missed work and pain . All because of the wrong work book. Lesson learned.

. Debra, Haute-Normandie

This is the third pair of the same boots i've bought my husband and for some reason, this particular pair is a little more narrow than his other two. But he didnt feel they were too snug to wear. He's a plumber and is on his feet all day. He also has plantar fasciitis. With a proper insert, these boots work great for him. We will continue to buy them.

. Kimberly, Bolton says

Bought two pairs each lasting about a year. This is achilles heel of these boots. I am a paramedic and do a lot of driving and am in these boots at 16-24 hour periods at a time. On both pair shoes cracked on right boot where bend occurs while driving. Boot then began breaking down further with underneath shearing. Rest of boot very stable and comfortable. Boot breathes very well and your feet do not sweat. Steel toe does not feel heavy and also provides tremendous support. Provides some anti-slip benefits but i still had some near incidents in the winter.

T. Gina, South Carolina says

These are comfortable and durable shoes. I've worn them to work daily for 6 years now. Some of the earlier pairs had a problem of prematur cracking across the sole, but that seems to have been fixed for my last 2 pairs (about 3 years ago). I get about 1 1/2 years out of a pair. They're the shoe i'm wearing 90% of the time.

O. Pete, North East Lincolnshire

Immediately the fit and comfort was appreciated on the job. Beware of shoes/boots that have stitching around the bending toes area, because overtime they always open up. This i imagine is a cost saving practice using smaller pieces of leather. Right out of the box these feel like they are broken in already. If there were anything to improve, i would say the laces need to be thicker, though they appear to be of some strong synthetic construction, and i wish these boots were available in a light brown/tan color. Oh and i did see the need after the first day working to purchase some color matching glue on boot tip protectors from online store.

L. Paula, Minnesota says

I've worn these in a warehouse for three years and will never buy another style or brand of boot. They are comfortable right out of the box, and the toe cap fits my giant toes that are normally covered in blisters when i get new boots. I've had three pairs of these and they all fit identically even though they were all bought a year apart from one another. I've walked over 10 miles a day before in these on concrete (verified with a pedometer) and my feet feel great at the end of the day. My only complaint would be that the tread is slippery on ice/snow, but these are made for dry concrete. As i said, i will never buy another brand or type of boots again!

C. Susan, Bretagne

I have to say this boot is great. I have bought all different brand of work boot for the work i do. I found that timberland pro series boot has the greatest comfort imo which means i can wear this all day and i would not feel fatigue. This timberland pro titan is has more comfort and lighter than the timberland pro pitboss since it has a composition shank (not steel toes). I would definitely buy it again and recommend to friend.

. Meghan, Shropshire says

As long as you understand that this boot is not made for years of wear you will not be disappointed. It requires little to no break in period, which should tell you right away that this boot is made more for comfort than long usage. It is a comfortable boot with a safety toe and electrical hazard rating in a very lightweight package. I had a pair of these before, they lasted six months and then split the sole across the ball of my right foot. I weigh 225 lbs. And often carry a 20-25 lb. Pack on steel decks and concrete and wear boots out on a regular basis before many other folks would. I consider these to be a summer boot and am glad of the light weight at the end of 100 degree days. If you get more than six months wear out of these then good on ya mate. Since you can't give a half star i'm giving these a four star rating when i would really like to give them three and a half.

Y. Reed, Reading

14 inch wide is a bit tight first few days but after that it is mostly broken in. Great boots but the shoelaces are not the quality i expect from previous timberland purchases. They are to shot and not the standard paracord but instead flat laces.

P. Isabel, Connecticut says

Perfect - just what my son needed. It arrived in less than three days and he did not have to go to the mall and. Try the boots on.

. Annette, West Berkshire

I have wide feet anyway, but got the 2e version so that i would have room for my feet to swell up and not be crushed in the hot weather and also so i could add thicker socks in the winter.

I. Gilmore, Nevada says

Bought these this was the second time they are great , they get worn to work by my boyfriend they are so comfortable and look nice even though they are work boots . The steal toe is a must . He s had these a few months and hope to reorder when he needs them again . A great boot !

Q. Brendon, Kingston upon Thames

Very nice boots, fit as expected. well made.

E. Valencia, Virginia says

I'm a mechanical engineer and i started an internship a few weeks ago and needed some good quality and good looking safety toe boots. I don't know for sure what brought me here in the first place, but i never looked for any other pair of boots and, now that i've been using them for over a week, i can say that i made the best choice i could have. These boots are reaaally confortable and i'm sure they're h. A. M. To break. The safety toe is pretty hard, too, as much as the really cool oil resistant sole that i didn't know of until i got them. I gotta say that i took a leap of faith with the sizing, because some reviews here say that they run small, but i usually go for a 10. 5 d(m) us (converse, adidas, puma) and so i did with these boots. They fit as expected and i feel pretty cool with them on, most of all because i know there's almost nothing i can be afraid of in terms of safety. :)

J. Cunningham, Wigan

I have been buying this boot at least annually for the past ten years. They are the most comfortable and lightweight work boots that i have experienced. As long as you care for them properly they will last for a long time. I keep two sets available so that i can alternate daily between them to keep them from becoming sweat soaked.

Disadvantage and Critical reviews

. Rhonda, Delaware says

My husband has been buying timberland boots from academy for awhile, and when the store stopped carrying his size i searched high and low for these boots he spoke so highly of. When we received them they looked like the boots he loved. When he wore them for the first time the metal prong broke off. Then after two weeks they showed extensive wear. We decided to just go with a pair of red wings. Timberland is usually a really great boot for the price. Unfortunately this time it wasn't the case. Buyer beware.

Y. Carrie, South Carolina

I bought this pair of shoes for my work. Expecting to get a safe and comfortable shoe. My feet started to sweat badly in the first time so i stopped using them and i decided to wait until winter to give them a try. . Today weather is cooler and they do are comfortable but my feet keep sweating even in winter time. This does not happen with any other of my safety shoes (cat, targood). . Today is my fith wear and they started to show manufacturing defects. Loose threads i guees the backtack was not applied properly. . Not happy with the quality vs price ratio. I had much higher expectations from this brand and price.

G. Finch, Hounslow says

I have been wearing these shoes for years, my work has a shoe allowance that goes towards new shoes each year so i bought a 8inch tall titan shoe for work and decided to buy a 6 inch pair for home through online store. The price was right so i purchased a pair, i take a wide so i ordered a wide, the shoes visually look small on the width when i unpacked them and when i put them on the are very snug, the reason i know they are mislabled is i just purchased from shoe mobile the same shoe in wide and the fitment is correct compared to the online store purchased pair, big difference, maybe this is why the were so cheap they mislabled the shoes. I'm in procees of sending them back for a refund. I'm afraid to ask for another pair afraid of the same thing happening again!

V. Pearson, Alaska

It's ok not great a little rough on the inside

K. Cunningham, Nevada says

Comfortable boots out of the box bought these several times i know the fit and easy to order also one of the few boots a proved by current job for electric protection i have had several pairs bottoms unglued fairly quickly that's why i needed a new pair

A. Anonymous, Gloucestershire

These are my second pair of timberland pro work boots. My first set i got off the shoe truck at work. They didn't have black so i took a chance on buying online. . Update. I didn't get a full years wear out of them. The sole split as did the ones i got from the shoe truck.

N. Pete, Alberta says

I just send them beck! safety toe on left shoe was defective and after a few days become painful to walk in them. Timberland is the only brand i've been wearing for years but this pair didn't just work for me.

F. Edith, North Tyneside

They are wider than i expected, the safety toe rubs my big toe, i will wear them , but ill go back to 2e next time

D. Lorenz, Herefordshire says

I decided to return these boots. Timberland are the only boots i wear because i need good comfortable work boots, but this pair seemed to be cheaply made. I also ordered the wide and it wasn't wide enough.

H. Lara, Redcar and Cleveland

They are light and comfortable. A good tree surgeon boot. The heels hold a climbing spike well and good arch support but. The soles come apart and break prematurely. These are the only boots i have worn that have had this issue and i am shying away from buying them again. I have had 2 pairs of this boot and the same thing happened. Timberland needs to fix this issue because these could be the perfect all around work boot.

Z. Valencia, Nottinghamshire says

I bought these boots thinking they were the same quality as my other pair of timberland pro boots, which i've had and worn daily for over a year. After so long, i figured i'd get myself this fresh pair of kicks. The quality of this boot doesn't compare to the other timberland boots i own. Within three weeks the boots were showing severe wear, having torn near the composite toe insert, frayed throughout the material and the lacing eyelets began dislodging. At first i figured i'd just gotten a bum pair of shoes and that i'd suck it up. Then i let online store know my frustrations with what i believe it defective footwear and sent them back. I wrote to timberland but they've offered no response. Truly disappointing, i won't be recommending these boots to anyone. I've had running shoes last almost a year after 4-5 day a week use. These boots should have held their own for far, far longer than three weeks.

U. Arnett, North East Lincolnshire

I returned these for the other timberlands with anti fatigue technology. These were ok but it's better to just go to the store and try them on instead of online.

. Sally, New York says

Shoe string holes already coming off. Makes clicking sound when walking like sole is not properly stuck to shoe. Poor quality control. Cannot return because tossed old ones. Will never purchase this brand again.

L. Kristen, New Hampshire

I've had timberland boots before and i wore those pair 10 or 12 hours a day while at work. I'm a dock worker and i drive a forklift all day. Some days are rougher than others. These were purchased in april and it's now sept. 1st and i just noticed the tread is coming apart from the sole, what the beep was my reaction for what i paid for these boots this shouldn't be happening not even 6 months in. I guess these are the last pair of timberlands i will ever buy. Timberland you have lost a loyal customer. If i could post a picture i would.

C. Broyles, North Lincolnshire says

Boots came quick! however there are clear signs that these boots have been worn by someone else. Minor scuffing on from right toe, frayed right lace, and minor creasing on right boot. Normally i would send used products back, but i figured i would do tons of damage to these boots anyway. It would of been nice to get brand new boots. But oh well it's not worth the hassle. Boots are great. I hope they hold up for atleast 6 months.

M. Florence, Montana

My son who wears orthotics has been wearing this shoe for years. I thought it was easy just to reorder it. I did. It has a smaller toe vault than the previous ones. I ordered it before his new orthotics came in and we had it a month before he could wear them. So unfortunately we no longer can return them. When he wears these for 5 hours he gets red marks. He tried to break them in but this did not help. It would be helpful if manufacturers noted that they changed the design. So because of the smaller toe vault and because i can't return them i am rating this at a 2. Otherwise it is as well constructed shoe. Perhaps shoes are something you can't order online.

I. Russell, Darlington says

My job requires that i walk around 5 miles a day on concrete. These boots were very comfortable but only lasted 4 months. The soles on both boots started cracking then breaking and finally just fell apart. I will be going back to red wings they're a 2 year boot.

W. Ross, Maryland

I had several pairs of timberland safety shoe before this one and they were much better in all area such as comfort/ (the materal that were use keeps my feet much cooler, this one generate more heat as if the inner and outer materal don't have enough ventilation or breathing capacity. The shoe are being made much norrower than before, my foot is not sollen either it does not get bigger. Some thing need to be done about this if not i will have to find another kind of safety shoe. I polish this shoe three time a week and the leather seams like is being stripping. And this is a brown/coffee just emagine it was black?

. Alba, South Tyneside says

My last boot was a timberland pit boss. This boot is much lighter, and virtually no break-in. After a week however, my foot started to hurt really bad, i have high arches. The ball of foot felt like it was stepping on something. I could feel the top of the soul isn't smooth, indents from my foot seemed to form and are causing pain. I bought an expensive insole to help, but it didn't. I'm returning these and will try a wolverine raider next.

Q. Hannah, Prince Edward Island

18 months ago, i bought the timberland pro model 26078, which is the best safety boot i've ever owned. Fairly light weight, supportive, comfortable. Unfortunately, boots don't last forever and i need to replace them. . I accidentally ordered this boot (model 26063) from online store. This boot is the non-waterproof version of the 26078 and, according to timberland customer service, they are otherwise identical. Put the two pairs next to each other and they're visually identical. Unfortunately, they are dimensionally different. If you have any type of flat foot or ankle issue, don't buy this boot. This boot is so inflexible that i could barely walk after an hour - literally had to see the podiatrist for a cortisone shot. I can't tell if the pieces are sewn together differently or if the leather in this boot is less flexible. After two attempts at wearing this boot - followed by 4 weeks of limping - these boots are going on craigslist. . I'll continue to wear the 26078 until they fall apart.

J. Julie, Quebec says

I'm currently on my 5th pair of these, and this used to be a 5 star review. I found these boots years ago, and they've been perfect pair after pair. I have trouble finding boots that fit well for a wide foot, and these were great. Not only that, but i wear my boots 7 days a week, 16 hours a day minimum, and often find myself on my feet in these boots for more than 24 hours. I can manage this in these boots with little to no discomfort, which says a lot for the quality. These boots have been so excellent in the past, that i actually have always kept a spare pair, and just reorder a new spare when it's time for replacement. . Now for the bad - i've been wearing my current pair for about one month, and things are drastically different. Still comfortable like the others, but the sole construction has changed. There is a visible seam where the treaded part of the sole attaches to the rest of the sole support, and the entire thing is coming apart. On both boots. I doubt they'll last another 5 days before completely falling off of the boot. Obviously something in the manufacturing process has changed, and this is complete garbage. Here i am with a $130 pair of boots that have lasted a month. I guess it's time for me to find a new boot to start wearing, and it looks like timberland is no longer going to be the answer.

B. Ruff, Illinois

I have had these boots for less than a month and the sole on the right boot has come off. I no longer have the box so i cant return them. My last pair of timberland pro's lasted me three years. Those only reason i threw those away was because i got these new ones. Very disappointed!

X. Anonymous, Derby says

I ordered a 14 wide. And the right shoe is considerably narrower than the left. ?

. Bethany, Thueringen

In less than 2 months - leaking in toe area. Extremely disappointed for $129. 90 will not buy again and do not recommend as there was no warranty. Peltz said since boots were worn.

E. Carol, Sandwell says

I like these boots. But they are dangerous on ice, no grip at all. Also the speed laces are dangerous, your bow tie on one boot can get caught on the speed lace of the other boot, trip you to the ground, this happened to me on a busy street corner with a truck turning in my path as i tripped hitting the ground. That nite i used channel locks to smash down the speed laces and don't use them any more till spring when the snow and ice are gone. Not for snow and ice !

T. Alice, Alabama

While they fit great and were very comfortable, they only lasted about 2 months before the soles split in half in the same spot on both shoes. I work in and out of a kitchen, and do a lot of walking outside on hot pavement, and these shoes never let me down in the comfort department. If it weren't for them falling apart, and chunks of tread falling off, i'd still be wearing them. Due to this however, i won't be buying them again, instead looking for a more durable pair.

The boots are comfortable without having to be broken in like other pairs that i have worn. But after a month of wear, the sole of the left boot cracked and began to let water into the boot. I don't do much heavy walking. I walk to and from school almost every day. It is approximately 3 miles of walking up and down hill. It is possible that i received a defective pair.

Heel squeezed and had to be returned.

I am very disappointed in this work boot. I only use this boot for at home activities and have had the very thin soul separate from the last on the bottom of the boots. I have bought shoe goop to repair the separation but for the price of the boots, this should not have happened. I would not recommend this boot and i will not purchase again despite being the most comfortable boot i have ever worn.
