Review for /superfeet orange premium m premium insole

Price was 39. Hands down the best insoles! forget dr. Scholls, spenco, etc. , they're all the same. Offer little support that make your feet feel great for an hour or two but quickly wear your feet out. I've even had high dollar custom insoles made which helped but don't hold up. Superfeet offers real support, not only for arch but for heel which is huge! they last 6mo-year, depending on how much you punish your feet. They take a good week to break in and mold to your feet, so don't pass judgement on them immediately. If you're like me and work on your feet for long hours, i highly recommend the orange. I've tried the black, green, copper, and orange. Orange are by the far the best and worth every penny!

Fantastic addition to any pair of shoes that you own. The support they provide is incredible and when you are not wearing them you will feel the difference. . I think i will purchase the smaller one instead of the e that i bought just so i don't have to cut so much from the front as i did with these ones. . For any person thinking about buying these insoles, keep in mind that your feet will notice the difference and that is why they recommend you using them for a few hours at a time, until you can keep them in your shoes all day long. That is just normal. . *important* keep an eye for the wear and tear of the insole by inspecting how the plastic at the bottom is holding up, if it looks like a bent credit card, with that white not broken type of look, it might be time to change them. Also the ones i had prior to these ones, i kept them for far too long and the plastic had an actual crack that was not visible at first hand, only when you pressed on it while checking them out. . Once you notice those things the support might not be there, and you are risking injuring yourself, because your feet is not snug and secured like before. Superfeet Orange Premium Insole Review (orange men)

I bought my orange superfeet for hiking and they make a huge difference, making my feet feel less tired after a long day's walk and offering good arch support that helps my posture. Before using these, i had never used orthotic insoles, but now i wouldn't hike without them. The orange superfeet are, in my experience, much the same as the green except with thicker padding for the forefoot. Orange superfeet have a high arch. Do not buy these if you have flat feet or the arches will dig into your feet, and these are made with very hard plastic. Superfeet have a whole range of options to match the style of your foot, and each different colour is a different shape. . You have to be very careful to get just the right fit with superfeet. If at all possible i recommend going to a store and testing out the different sizes. The key is to buy superfeet to fit your arch length, *not* your shoe size. I am a shoe size 9, so if i went by superfeet sizing then i would need the "d" (7. 5-9). Yet i have long arches so i actually use the "f" (11. 5-13). I went to an outdoor store, tried all the different sizes and the salesperson helped me figure out that the larger superfeet fit perfectly to my arch with no space between the sole and my foot. The smaller insoles left a small gap in my arch and would, over time, become quite uncomfortable. Superfeet are easy to trim with scissors (you simply cut them to match the regular insole of your shoes) so don't be afraid to buy a much larger size if that's what fits your arch. . It's also important to make sure your heels fit well - if the heel cup is too small for your heel, the hard plastic will dig into your feet and you won't be wearing them for long! conversely if the heel is too big, there won't be the support you're looking for. When you stand on the superfeet, your heel should fit snugly in the cup and you'll know when it looks and feels right. . Superfeet can be hugely beneficial but only if you take the time to research and get the right fit. Ordering these purely based on your shoe size may prove to be a painful mistake. I wouldn't order these online unless you are able to either try them in a store first, or you are able to order several sizes and then return the ones that don't work for you. -. Cortney

Superfeet Orange Premium M Premium Insole Shoes

  • An ex-football player past his prime (6'3", 360 lbs, size 13d, medium arch), i was recently diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. My orthopedist recommended daily stretching exercises and orthoheel slippers to wear indoors (no more walking around in socks). What a difference! the slippers and exercises lessened my symptoms from the start and, over time, eliminated most of my discomfort, so i decided to find some orthotic inserts to improve my street shoes. . So far, i've tested:. 1. Dr. Scholl's massaging gel extra support. 2. Aetrex copper medium arch. 3. Spenco polysorb total support. 4. Superfeet copper dmp. 5. Powerstep pinnacle. 6. Powerstep pinnacle pro. . Each for two hours' total walking time over a few days in two pairs of my favorite shoes: new balance 606 hikers and cole haan loafers with nike air. . Dr. Scholl's massaging gel extra support: advertised for big & tall men, they didn't do much for me. While the extra cushioning helped at first, it helped less and less the longer i walked on them. I mentioned this to my orthopod and he told me the key to managing pf is not cushioning, it's support. Grade: d. . Spenco polysorb total support: remembering my doc's advice, i chose these for the rigid heel cup and arch support. Though quite comfortable overall, the arch support was a bit too low for my medium-high arches and the heel cup was insufficient support for weight. While they worked reasonably well for me, i believe they would a be better choice for lighter individuals with lower arches. Grade: b. . Aetrex copper medium arch: promising better arch support, these felt very similar to the spenco insoles even after walking around the block. I then swapped one of the aetrex insoles for one of the spenco insoles and walked around again. Only then could i tell them apart. The spenco offered a little better support for the mid- and fore-parts of my foot, the aetrex offered a little better support for my arch. Grade: b. . Superfeet: i was in an allen edmonds store and noticed the superfeet insoles. The clerk said many men my size have good success with them. I first tried the orange insoles. While they were too high for my arches, i felt more support in the right places than i had with any other insoles i had tried. I next tried the copper dmp insoles. These were the right fit for my arches. Superfeet are easily the most rigid of the insoles i've tried. And easily the best. The arch support sits farther back on the insole than other brands. This made a real difference in the support and comfort i felt walking long distances. I also found the medial post support in the heel did a better job than other insoles in combatting over-pronation. Grade: a update: i have since tried superfeet black in dress shoes that couldn't accommodate the copper insole. They work well but are not as supportive as the copper or the orange. . . Powerstep pinnacle: while it seems well-made and offered good support, it simply did not work for me. The gel-based arch support sits too far forward and in the middle of the insole. The insoles felt like i had lumps of clay underfoot. After a few blocks of brisk walking, my feet began to fatigue as if i were walking barefoot in sand. Again, these may work for some people but they didn't for me. Grade: c. . Powerstep pinnacle pro: other wearers commented that the pinnacle pro differs markedly from the pinnacle, so i tried a pair. I barely made it a block before heading back home. Though more rigid than the pinnacle and with a better heel cup, the pinnacle pro was too inflexible through the arch and ball of my foot. These were the only insoles i tried that truly caused me pain. Of course, it could just be the contours of my feet, and for others the pinnacle pro might be great. Grade: f
  • I haven't broken these in yet, but i wanted to comment on the size. My belleville military boots are men's size 9. 5. I bought the size e with 9. 5 as the small end. These inserts were the exact same size and shape as my old ones that came with the boot. So, the size is perfect for my boots, but i imagine it might be slightly small for other sizes in the e range. The heel has a hard plastic piece on bottom. I was expecting something that has some give. This is not necessarily bad. I intend to comment when they are broken in.
  • I purchased these to replace a pair of sof sol airr orthotics that were a couple years old. They are three piece glued construction. When i opened the box i found that on the left insole one piece was not glued completely and it didn't look like it would stay together long. Rather than return the pair for a replacement i glued it properly using super glue. Shouldn't have to do that for almost $50. I bought these to put in my hiking shoes. I usually walk 8-10 miles at a time on a weekend day. After a few miles the halls of my feet were killing me. The issue is that while they are very supportive there is very little cushioning on the front portion of these. They may be great for daily use but didn't work for my long distance hiking. I dug my old sof sols out of the trash (yes, i am ordering a new pair) after i got home. Most reviewers live these things but they didn't cut it for me.
  • I bought these for my wife as she was complaining about the gel ones from the local shoe store. Days 1 and 2 were ok and seemed to provide comfort. Late on day 3 her feet started to hurt. Day 4 continued and out they came. The old ones went back in and these are now on the floor. . Apparently is was more discomfort and outright pain that prompted the removal. Disappointing given all the high reviews. Maybe i'll try to convince her to try them again. I get there is a break in period but you shouldn't have to suffer through it. Time will tell. I'll revise my review should she have an epiphany at a later date.
  • I bought the smallest (size c) superfeet orange to replace a (too hard) green pair for my hiking shoes. . The arch area does seem slightly different. These are wider in the toebox - but can be trimmed down. . I am wearing them in my hiking shoes for walking my dog at wet parks. . What i did not forsee is that the nice cushioned forefoot area has a bit of a gap after the plastic arch itself. I needed the higher arch of the green combined with the cushioning of the berry. Seems to work adequately - but not wonderfully well for my purpose. . Should be a great insole for a high-arched male.

The superfeet premium insole features a high-volume heel cup and a full forefoot shock pad for maximum comfort and support. Superfeet's biomechanical shape and design supports and aligns the bones of the foot, helping to prevent heel and pain and stress. Plus the agion antimicrobial treatment cuts down on odor, and the friction-control top cover helps reduce blistering. Use this insole for athletic and industrial footwear with removable insoles.

The arch rests farther back on the foot than any shoe i'm used to, which is uncomfortable at first. I'm getting used to it and overall the insoles are helping. I've had significant foot pain for several weeks and i'm happy for the relief. I would like to have more cushion on the balls of my feet, but so far i'm satisfied.

Superfeet Run Comfort Insole (Shoes) FAQ.

I have flat feet and was getting planter fasciitis with significant pain in my feet and would get easily tired. I tried the dr. Scholl custom fit ones and they helped for a week and seemed to just wear out. A colleague recommended the superfeet. I got the inserts for the high heels and dress shoes but then ended up going to a running store to get fitted with one for my sneakers. Got these green ones. They are absolutely fabulous. I have no pain in my feet and the planter fasciitis symptoms are totally gone. These are very comfortable for day to day use. I have started running in them and i have no pain or stiffness. I highly recommend. -Notice from S. Evelyn, Hammersmith and Fulham

- A. Mable2nd pair i bought, first ones are still good but i got new shoes and i already have about 500 miles on the other ones. Great support on your feet in general, for me i feel great support on my heels, also i have moderate supination (underpronation) and these insoles have worked wonders for me, really stable feet when i run or walk. 100% recommended.

I bought these on a recommendation from a runner article on preventing plantar faciitis. Im still healing up from the original injury, so i havnt run in them yet. I have done several long walks. They did not make my heal pain worse, so i will take that as a good sign. . I had to trim them down to fit. But that isnt really a big deal. I used the original insole as a pattern. Align the heal end together and trim the toe end. . I had expected them to have a very soft sole and big arch support. But they arent really like that. They have a rather thin mid and fore foot pad, and regular feeling arch support. But the heal is well cupped and i believe has a bit of stiff gel padding at the impact area. . Overall good. The test will be when i run again.

Superfeet GREEN Full Length Insole

These inserts were actually shorter than the inserts in my size 12 timberland boots. They are advertised as size men's 11. 5 - 13. . If they were any shorter i would have sent them back. I trimmed a small amount off the curves on the sides. Despite being a little shorter they fit just fine and are extremely comfortable. I love the arch support and like how stiff they are on the heel. Great product that will hopefully last 1 year or 500 miles of walking as advertised.

The green offer affordable, professional-grade orthotic support, performance and comfort for anyone who wants their footwear to fit and feel better.

Superfeet Green Full Length Insole (performance) FAQ.

Needed something to make my wide array of flat soled converse shoes actually wearable for any period of time. On the first wear they seem hard and like they wont be comfortable, i was disappointed initially but after a day or two they break in, form to your feet and feel great. Perfect if you have high arches and need that support. I can now wear "flat sole" shoes day after day for 8-12 hours at a time with zero foot pain or issues. I've used them for a year now and they still feel fantastic. I did have to trim a little off the top edges to customize the fit for the particular shoe, but thats to be expected. -Notice from Y. Candy, Manchester

I wear a size 8 running shoe. I bought a specific pair of shoes for the color for a special event; however, i overpronate on my left and supinate on my right and needed much more supportive insoles than those shoes provided. These insoles are great! my feet feel supported. Good arch support and keeps the weight evenly distributed on throughout my feet (heel, arch, toe mound, and side to side) which keeps my feet, knees, and hips from hurting when i run. The price is great when compared to custom orthotics. Sure, it's more expensive than dr. Scholls in the pharmacy at walmart, but this is a type of product that price reflects the quality.

- R. MoniqueDefinitely do what some have suggested and if you are at the higher end on the suggested shoe size range, then size up. The arch will lie too far back if you don't. I cut the inserts about half a centimeter wider than the removable inserts for my rain boots and they fit great! it's also a perfect solution to make your shoes slightly more snug, especially if you are a half size and the shoes only come in full sizes.

I have only had them in my work boots for about four days, but these superfeet green premium insoles are awesome! you see at 65 i have a no cartilage left in my left ankle (as diagnosed by a top podiatrist here in the jacksonville, fl area) and i have neuropathy in 80% of my right foot and i'm on my feet at a big box store for 9 hours a day! my previous insoles worked well for almost two years but needed replacing. These superfeet reduced the amount of pain i was feeling by a significant amount! i am amazed!

Superfeet BLUE Full Length Insole

Fits my cycling shoes well, but be aware as these soles are thicker than the original inserts provided with the shoes. I had to adjust my dropper post 1 cm upwards. Very comfortable and take strain off your feet after riding 15miles/day on the desert trails.

Superfeet Blue Full Length Insole (blue active d) FAQ.

So i bought these to fix my gait and combat shin splints. . This product did both. . I never realized i was walking improperly until i put these into my shoes. Suddenly my gait transformed pretty dramatically. I primarily use these when i run or play basketball or tennis. I noticed that my new gait helps me transfer the impact more appropriately. I can feel new parts of my feet and legs absorbing impact instead of the same parts. This reduces strain on the outsides of my feet and my upper calves. . As for fit, i got the 9. 5-11 mens and wear a size 11 for most shoes. I didn't need to cut these. They fit perfectly into every shoe that i put them in. (size 11 asics running shoes and tennis shoes, size 11 nike basketball shoes). . One turnoff as i researched this product was the price. After wearing these for several weeks, i can easily say that the price is justified. 30 something bucks to give your feet comfort and to possibly fix or prevent any injuries or health problems? no brainer. . Your feet take a beating. Treat them nicely and they'll do the same for you. -Notice from . Elanor, Prince Edward Island

I bought these for my husbands issued military boots. I have not heard him complain of his knee pain since he's put them in! . They were a little bit large, but i just took out the old insert and use it as a trace, and cut the superfeet insert around it. I've also received a few calls from him at work asking me what they were called because his coworkers wanted to know. He's got super flat feet, and is on his feet over 10 hours a day. Before buying these, he would come home and immediately take off his boots, and now he'll sit around relaxing for a while. So, as objective perspective, i've gotta say these work like a charm!

Superfeet-blue-full-length-insole-(blue-active-d) set picture

- Z. LynetteI having been using these for a few years. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and these provide a fair amount of relief. I primarily use these in sneakers. I use separate inserts for dress shoes and boots. Recommend replacing every six months or so as the padding for the front part of the foot will become flat.

Ok, like a lot of people here it seems, i've been dealing with heel pain that is probably plantar fasciitis for a while. These things make a huge difference, better than anything else i've tried. They're a little pricey, but it's worth it. They now go in every pair of shoes i buy. . These inserts seem to make the shoe a little stiffer, meaning they distribute pressure across your whole foot rather than letting any particular point get too focused. I've found that helps more than any amount of cushioning (gel, foam, whatever) from cheaper products. . (all that said, the best thing for plantar fasciitis is to remember to stretch your feet, calves, and hamstrings often. In my case, stretching my hamstrings regularly was the first thing that made a noticeable impact on the long term presence of pain. )

The F.A.Q. for Superfeet Orange Premium Insole (orange men)

I have really bad plantar fasciitis. I have a custom orthopedic shoe insert which i got through the doctor. That works great but cost over $300. In order to have an insole for my other shoes i purchased one of these orange superfeet. They are exactly what my feet need so that my heels aren't shooting spikes of pain through my ankles after being on my feet for a bit. If i walk around the house barefoot for longer than 5 minutes my heels are on fire. I feel that they work just as good as my custom pair but at 1/6 the cost. . I find that using them roughly 50% of the time that they last for about 2 years before the plastic wears out and cracks around the heel cup support. I find that a good cost to life ratio. I usually use the green ones for running (replacing the saucony insole). Got these for a new pair of merrell hiking boots (review elsewhere on online store). The difference is tremendous. . I was pretty skeptical of superfeet when i first bought them a few years ago. I'm a convert. They allowed me quite literally to get back up on my feet and seriously exercise again.

These really make a difference in your shoes, you may need to cut an inch or so from the top to make them fit into some dress shoes or if you were closer to a size 9 or 10. I like these better than the green super feet as they have more cushion for the balls of my feet.

I had purchased these from ems in the past and when they did not have them in stock i turned to online store (online storesmile to get the donation for my charity). I ordered them at 10:30 am and they arrived 8 hours later! the price was as good as i have seen for these insoles. I'm so impressed with the price and service i almost forgot to mention that these insoles are excellent. I also never would have considered this product if i had not been helped by an ems employee who also gave me excellent advice the advice of the ems employee comes with a cost, a store, and they just shutdown at my location. I am very disappointed. This is an excellent product but you need a knowledgeable person to help you select and fit this this to your footwear.

I've got wide feet, 10 ee or eeee depending on the brand of shoe, and pronate quite a bit. I'm also a big guy and spend a lot of time on my feet. I've got these in both my work boots and my athletic shoes and they excel in both. This model is not for everyone, but superfeet makes several variations (color coded) for different foot types. Much better than cheap insoles you find at big box stores. I get a year or more out of a pair when worn for long hours almost daily. Highly recommended.

T. Donna, Florida says

I am very happy i took the chance and ordered these inserts. I admit i was skeptical and didn't really want to spend $40 on the pair but my feet and arches hurt so much i had to take the chance. I felt relief withing the hour of putting them in my shoes. I had been having problems with my feet for a few months and thought that i had been healed and put on another pair of shoes without these inserts and the pain returned quickly as did the relief when i went back to using them. I am ordering 2 more sets so i don't have to swap them out. I was surprised on the ease of installation and i didn't even have to trim them. I got lucky finding these by googling the problems i was having. I nearly spent $500 plus by going to good feet (which didn't have good reviews). The reviews for these were good which gave me some security on ordering them and the price is well worth it.

L. Linda, Maine

These are the perfect arch support for my feet. I tried the pink ones but they did not give me enough support. I have wide feet and workout and walk a lot. The insoles that come in my shoes do not give me the support i need, so i pull them out and put these in. Easy to pull out and wash with mild soap and a nail brush. They dry quickly in the sun and overnight without sun.

G. Parker, Connecticut says

The hard part of insoles is that not everything works for everyone. I read a review that helped me understand that it's basically like the search for cinderella. This is attempt 3 on insole purchases. The first one i think made my feet worse, i wish to burn them. It began a pain in my knee after one day but like an idiot i thought that is was part of the process. You know, breaking them in. False. Now i have to also care for a knee pain in addition to plantar fasciitis. Awesome. The second was a different insole from this same company. The light blue ones. They were painful as well. Could last the day without some serious foot care in the evening. But. Now. These bad boys are winning the race. Not literally because i'm trying to start running again. But the give the best support in my arch. They cradle my heel and protect feet throughout the day. However, nothing is ever perfect. So i can't say 5 stars because. I just cant

N. Edith, Centre

I got my first set of these orange superfeet a year ago. First it takes about a week to adjust to them, because the damage is already done to your feet. The first set held up 13 months with 10 to 15 miles of walking a day. Being heavier in weight i tend to go through inserts faster, but these held up better than other brands i have tried that only last a few weeks, or the feet never adjusted to the other brands. This is a fanastic product and it well worth the money for me.

A. Nicole, Swindon says

These were recommended to me by my podiatrist because i have very bad arches and a lot of feet pain. I have spent $250. 00 for arch supports that work great for the first couple of months then i am back to pain in the feet. I work as a nurse and am on my feet for 12 hrs a day, these arch supports were great. I didn't have to "break" them in and the price is great. When i need a new pair i don't have to break the bank to replace them. What i also like is i can easily slip them in to any pair of flats i wear. I will definitely buy again. Will let you know how long these last when i buy my next pair.

I. Teresa, Merton

These insoles, combined with adidas ultra boost running shoes, really reduced the pain in my back, knees and shins. I run about 4 miles a day 4 days a week (16 miles/week) and as im in my upper 30s im getting sore where i never used to. New shoes alone didnt solve the problem until i started using these and they are great

H. Guest, South Tyneside says

I've been using the orange superfeet for several years. For my high arches the orange work great. I find these to be the most comfortable and effective insoles. My foot and lower back pain due to long periods of standing are gone. My daily wear house slippers get the most use and last about a year. I have a few other sets of superfeet orange that i interchange with shoes and boots. I highly recommend the superfeet brand and the orange for people with high arches.

. Wells, Hackney

I have owned several pair of these superfeet. They hold up extremely well. I have been using over 5 years. Just bought fresh set. . They have relieved pressure on the plantar thus reducing pain. Size 11 is properly sized so no trimming was necessary. Fit well. I believe the liner that came with shoe is to be taken out, and the inserts installed. However, i leave my original shoe insert in and simply use the superfeet on top. It gives some rise of foot in shoe and makes some, not all, of my shoes a little tight vertically.

V. Rita, Wisconsin says

I've had plantar fasciitis off and on for decades. After years of trying many different insoles and other contraptions, i ran into a physical therapist about five years ago who recommended superfeet insoles. I was skeptical (and didn't want to spend the extra money), but i finally pulled the trigger. Since that day, i've never bought another set of insoles. Superfeet insoles have been the solution to my plantar fasciitis (your mileage may vary, but i can't recommend these highly enough). . I've put these insoles in my expensive work shoes and $20 tennis shoes, and they make any pair of shoes your pair of shoes. For me, the orange superfeet work best. I make sure to only buy shoes with enough space in the toebox for the insoles to fit. I've never been able to destroy a pair of these. I've replaced a couple of pair, since i figure they must need replaced at some point, right? but i've never had a pair of these fall apart or stop working.

S. Finch, Tasmania says

I love my orange superfeet! again, online store is the best price compared to my local sporting goods store where i bought my original pair. I've been a fan of superfeet and i've tried the green, pink and now the orange. I have found that they extend the life of my running shoes and give excellent support and comfort to my feet. My job involves standing for 8-9 hours at a time. There are no chairs or stools anywhere. If you have plantar fasciitis, these are very helpful. I've suffered from pf many times over the years. I'm hoping that using these orthotics will help me avoid another painful attack. Hooray for superfeet! hooray for online store!

. Bethany, Bolton

Worth the price paid. I've been using it for 6 months now for work. I use cheap non-slip new balances working in a kitchen standing, walking, and running 8-10 hours a day. I bought these because the original insoles have become permanently squished and didn't give any arch support. This lasts a long time, gives useful cushions, and excellent arch support. My legs don't get sore at all after work. I also have another pair on my training shoes, which i use to work out. I do a lot of jumping and a little running, and exercises which requires me to be on my toes a lot. I also do a lot of side to side and forward - back movements. These, again, help keep my legs and back supported.

X. Ross, Lewisham says

With mild chronic plantars faciitus, these are worth the money. I have a high arch and the orange provides great support. Even tho size e is too large for my shoe, the arch support fits me where it should. I buy the larger size and trim them to fit my shoe. Just pull out the existing insole, trace it onto superfeet, and cut with a scissors. They seem expensive but last really long and are worth the money to be pain-free.

C. Alice, Middlesbrough

I have used my first pair for 7 months, and all in all they have been good! i was have really sore feet from my factory insole, and needed relief. These helped a lot. Now 7 months later, they are in sorry shape but i guess that's to be expected when you work in a building materials supplier warehouse. My only complaints would be that the material on top of the foam wore out within a month or two but didn't get too much worse over the later 5. The plastic support around the heel broke on both feet, but i honestly didn't notice it until i took them out to put in my new ones. But like i said, overall these were good insoles and worth the money!

E. Judith, Suffolk says

I'm 224 and 6'3" with 13 d feet and i can flatten some shoe inserts, especially the generic ones that come with the shoes. I'm on my feet all day and these inserts make a world of difference, i don't run, just work outside all day. I match up the insert with one from my shoe and trim to fit. They are expensive but you will find, as i have, that they are worth it.

. Widmer, Ealing

If you need these, they're a great product. I wouldn't go spending the money on them if you don't need them. But if you do, then this vendor sells them at a reasonable price, and the quality is very good. I started buying superfeet on the recommendation of my podiatrist. He specifically cautioned me against buying any similar product from road runner sports, saying that their inserts were actually bad for you (as opposed to "just don't work"). He pretty much said buy anything else, but recommended superfeet as one of his top choices. (he's part of a big medical group which does not sell inserts; he gets nothing by recommending for or against any particular product. ) i've been wearing these for several years now with very good results. If you need this type of insert (and if you know which one you need; i needed the orange one), then this vendor delivers them quickly to your door at a reasonable price.

Q. Mary, Cumbria says

I wear steel toe (safety) boots for more than 8 hours a day walking for almost 6 hours of those 8+ hours and standing for the rest, i went through several dr. Scholl's inserts from the gel, massaging, active series and so on. Although the dr. Scholl's we're ok, my feet would ache when i got home and when i would wake up the following morning. . After purchasing superfeet, i was immediately relieved of the aches and pain i was having. I can literally pull a double shift if i have to wearing these because they really are that comfortable.

F. Wade, Nevada

After much research, these seemed to be the absolute best for someone who wear work boots all the time and is in cement alot. My fiance gets foot pain and has back issues. I figured the price would be worth it for the benefit. They were absolutely the best ones he has ever tried. They felt incredible. But with all the hours he works wearing his steel toed boots, driving and being on cement all the time, they wore out much quicker than i expected. I can't afford the price to have to replace them every few months. Wish i could for what he said about them.

D. Laura, Kentucky says

I purchased these on online store after reading recommendations from a podiatrist blog. These work wonders and the support is excellent. I contacted superfeet directly about the orange insoles versus the green insoles. Superfeet advised that orange is best for those with high arches and green is for normal arches. Orange and green have identical foam and heel cups. The only difference is the arch support. I wear a women's size 7. 5-8 and purchased size c. I didn't even need to cut the insole to size.

M. Glenda, Indiana

Bought these inserts for my husband who has low arches and plantar fasciitis, works on his feet for hours most every day and he says the heel support in these has helped ease his heel pain. He has arch supports (good feet) that were very expensive and help his arch and helped ease his plantar fasciitis, but they did not provide much improvement for his heel pain. I also have plantar fasciitis and my podiatrist recommended the superfeet green insoles and they help me a lot.

K. Susan, Minnesota says

Skiing in vail, i encountered real problems with what i thought were my boots. At the end of the day i realized i wasn't going to be able to continue the next day. Went to a ski shop with the intention of buying new boots (certainly not an inexpensive proposition in vail). Sales person suggested i try superfeet before buying new boots. I used them the next day and was absolutely amazed at the difference. Still using the same boots and skiing comfortably.

Disadvantage and Critical reviews

C. Powell, Blackburn with Darwen says

I have very nice custom orthotics that were outrageously expensive. I was trying these to find a less expensive alternative. I didn't care for these at all. They are supposedly the superfeet product with the highest arch support. They were almost like nothing at all. If you have high arches like me, look elsewhere.

I. Theresa, Arizona

Disappointed. I usually use green superfeet, but switched to orange. They seem more geared to my needs (train running, high mileage, arch support) but these were a big disappointment. They weren't comfortable, and provided very little arch support. I sent them back. Sticking with my green superfeet.

S. Carmen, Wisconsin says

These were recommended to me by someone in the medical field as the ones to get. I work retail and walk 6 to 8 miles a day with a lot of ladder work. I also have knee issues and i was hoping the 50 dollar price was going to be a harbinger of good things. Some reviews complained of poor workmanship and quality. I found them well made and of good quality with nice arch support, they just didn't help and actually increased heel pain after a few hours, and during the evening.

F. Ruff, Australian Capital Territory

I have a really narrow foot, as in aa, so i was surprised there was room to spare when i put them into a pair of 2a tennis shoes. . Giving them an average review because they might have worked, and i believe others who have had a positive experience, but i sent them back. It was way too much money for a product that doesn't fit. . Since then, i've had luck with the dr. Scholl's active series. They do the job for me, and cost only $14.

T. Anonymous, Poitou-Charentes says

While these insoles undoubtedly provide great support for my feet while i am walking or running, that is not why i bought them. I bought them specifically to play sports. The material on the top of the insole is so slippery. I played half a practice (i play ultimate frisbee) in these and my feet were sliding all over the place. I could not turn quickly and my socks against the orange material kept forcing my feet to slam into the sides of my cleats. . These are fine for running in a straight line, but if you need to turn you are going to slip. Playing any type of field sport with these like soccer, lacrosse, football, etc. Is a non-starter. Which is sad because i do think they give my feet great cushioning and support. For now i am contemplating how i might make the surface sticker so i can still use them, but i think i'll end up getting another brand of less slippery insoles.

A. Elizabeth, Queensland

Absolute waste of money. Fit was good, durability was less than 3 months. Superfeet warranty is 60 days. Wore primarily for casual and work, tennis in them 4x. Per their hype they are "ideal for high-volume athletic and industrial footwear with removable insoles". I strongly disagree per my experience. Im not sure how long it took for the pics attached to happen, but believe it was around 2 montha as feet were not feeling so great around then and discovered they were defective after an unusual bump was felt in the heel (broken off piece). I purchased the orange from another sports etailer and ordered the green (online store)just before finding this broken insole. I was so disappointed with the oranges comfort and read the green was more cushioned that i ordered them . Little did i know they were shrapneled. Greens don't have plastic heel cup so hoping for better durability.

. Alexia, Wolverhampton says

Like the price but no go for my first fit. The arch on the superfeet is too far back for my correct size causing pain after a few days of wear. I'm going to try ordering the next size larger to move the arch further forward. This might do the trick. I will upgrade my rating once i find a perfect fit. I have the advantage of matching this up to a professional custom made orthotic from fithotic which costs twice the price but works. I was hoping this could be a cheaper alternative. Stay tuned for an update.

M. Annette, Arkansas

I hope they'll work but i'm quite ticked as i paid for new and got slightly used. The writing on the sole was worn slightly and there were toe discolorations. I assume someone tried, didn't like, returned, and they threw them back in the mix. I didn't pay for a slightly used product, i paid for new and at $60 that's what i expected. I'm keeping to try as i have severe foot issues and am desperate for a solution. I have custom orthotics but they are not working/helping in my backpacking boots (no real cushioning for the forefoot) and i'm hoping these will.

O. Elanor, Kentucky says

The hard arch support bothered the front of my heel. Not as grippy as other inserts i had tried, so it felt like my foot was sliding a little. Didn t hold my heel in place. Not much cushion at all. Not worth the price to me when the copperfit insoles feel much better for less than half the price, and i have bad knees plus carry most of my weight on my heels. . I returned them. The size, though, was pretty accurate.

N. Sarah, Merton

Let me preface, i want to love these insoles. But after using them for a few weeks they have started to pinch my heel in my right boot. My foot comfort hadn't really improved any over what came in my boots with a small gel pad insert. I'll give them a couple more weeks before i start looking at other options.

. Broyles, Virginia says

I bought the superfeet men's orange premium insoles for arch support to help with pronation, relying on the product description of " h igh-arched insole for maximum support. " the product broke after seven weeks of light daily wear. . I struggle with pronation. Each arch collapses as i put weight on it. My foot rolls in and down at the ankle. If i go a day or two without good arch support, my knees start to hurt. Solid arch support is fairly important to me. I need an insole whose arch and heel cup can support me. . My old insoles were great. They were from a different brand. They retailed for about the same price as superfeet. Somehow, each pair lasted an astounding three to five years. I ended up with superfeet after discovering that my old insoles were no longer made. Somehow i suspect the longevity of the insoles doomed the company by killing repeat sales. . My experience with superfeet was disappointing. They felt fantastic, but they were not built to last. They failed after only seven weeks. The bottom of the heel cup whitened from stress, and the rim of the heel cup cracked all the way through. The crack is 1. 75 inches long, and i suspect it will spread quickly if i continue to wear the insoles. . I included a photo so you can see the damage. The region of plastic stress, the white bit, should be obvious. The crack is harder to see, but it is quite prominent in person. It penetrates all the way through the plastic. I fear the crack might split the heel cup in half with continued use, which would be at least uncomfortable and potentially injurious. . The quality or design of the product, rather than my use of it, appears to be the problem. I did not subject the insoles to heavy wear. I used them daily while completing errands and office work. That's it. They were not used for exercise or high impact activities, and yet i only squeezed seven weeks out of them. . If you are considering this product because you pronate, i urge you to find something else. These are not the insoles you're looking for. . Update: although i was disappointed by the product, i was very pleased with superfeet customer service. Their first priority was to ensure that i felt okay with the resolution. Once i was squared away, the agent who assisted me also collected information that could help future product design. . Update:. I tried two other options simultaneously, sof sole and icebug. I have been alternating between the two for about three weeks now, which is not enough time to give feedback on durability. I am, however, able to offer a comparison for anyone trying to decide between the two as possible alternatives to superfeet insoles. . The sof sole fit is most similar to superfeet. It has a hard plastic heel cup and arch covered with a layer of foam. The heel cup is constructed differently than superfeet's. Sof sole uses a rounded heel cup instead of superfeet's flat rim that seemed to create the weak spot. The sof sole arch is both very high and, like superfeet, a bit close to the heel. It is, however, comfortable for me, and it appears to keep me from pronating as i am not experiencing the telltale knee pain that comes with a shoddy insole. . Icebug is a different creature. Like superfeet and sof sole, icebug has a durable base extending from heel to arch that is topped with layers of foam and fabric, but the icebug bottom layer is different. Whereas superfeet and sof sole use a hard plastic, icebug uses a more flexible material. The literature that came with the insoles explained that it is intended to return energy to your step a bit like a spring. The arch support feels substantial, but much less rigid. . So far i like both sof sole and icebug, wearing them on alternating days. Over time, i suspect i will begin to dedicate each insole to specific activities. Sof sole has been great around the office and while running errands. Conversely, icebug's more cushioned top layers and flexible underlayer may make it a better choice for longer, higher impact activities. So far i have found icebug slightly more comfortable than sof sole. . But the real test of an insole comes with time, as i experienced with superfeet. I have been wearing sof sole and icebug for only three weeks, which may not be enough for a final verdict. If anything noteworthy comes up in the weeks ahead, i'll update my review. If no updates have been posted, assume they have both continued to perform in line with this review.

Z. Ross, Maine

I have very high arches and these did seem to fit me rather well and the low friction fabric on them is nice, but i wish these would have lasted longer than they did. . I can usually get about 6-8 months of everyday wear out of wal mart gel insoles, and these lasted a way less than than before i noticed the back heel cup had shattered on both sides, leaving just fabric on on top of the heel. . I thought these would make a great distance skateboarding insole, but i am dissappointed that they did not last longer or stay together better than a pair of wal mart gel insoles. . Would not buy again, especially for the price.

J. Cathy, Iowa says

I am a big fan of the superfeet insoles. However this one fell short. After wearing it about four times for squash the heal cracked. Unfortunately it was outside the return window so i am stuck with these. I have had better luck with the blue version; i have a pair that is still going after a year and a half. Also, these inserts are more difficult to put into your shoes due to the extra thickness. They tend to fold easier preventing a clean placement into your shoe. I don't recommend this insole but i do recommend the blue version.

L. Heidi, Kent

Im sure if i had narrower feet, they would feel much better. But i generally require a wide fit. I didnt see any options for a wide version (or ee/eee), so i hoped simply ordering in my shoe size would be ok. It wasnt. Theyre noticeably thinner than i need, especially around the heel. Also, the pictures in the description give it a very thick, foam look. In reality, it is simply the height of the outer edges of the heel cup that are nearly 3", but quickly dip into the heel, and dont seem much thicker in the center and up to the toes than standard $20 insoles. I wanted to love these, but they didnt work for my wide feet.

E. Emma, Ile-de-France says

These men's superfeet orange premium insoles gave me the high arch support i needed in my work boots and also provide the proper amount of cushioning in the heel, however, it does not provide enough cushioning for the ball of the foot. At the end of an 8 hour workday on my feet, i find myself wishing for more comfort for the front of my feet. For the premium price paid, i expected better overall comfort. If i could find sofsole athlete performance insoles with max cushioning and a high arch instead of just medium arch, i would buy them instead of these superfeet insoles and for about half the price.

Q. Megan, Florida

I'd read, a lot, about different inserts for high arch support and bough the orange and the blue. I really wanted these orange to fit my need for a high-arches and a bit of comfort for un-cushioned boots. Nope. These are well constructed and have a durable heel, thicker than the blue inserts. Yet, in comparison with the blue, i feel the blue provide much more arch support. It feels like the construction of the blue and orang provide the same arch height, but because the orange has a thicker heel relative to the arch, it feels like the arch on the blue is higher. I can feel slight contact between my arch in the insert on the blue, but the orange doesn't feel like it's providing any arch support at all. There are going back, and i'm keeping the blue for a trip. But i'm still looking for an insert with a higher arch support.

H. Rhonda, Nordrhein-Westfalen says

Perfect fit for my men's 13, and the support is fantastic. . Follow up:. So knowing that i am a bigger guy this may not apply to everyone. I ordered these to help maintain my arch, but after just a few months, the arch has totally flattened out and i m back where i started. I would recommend the super feet green to anyone who is tipping the scales to the larger side.

B. Bullock, Barking and Dagenham

Bought these because a friend told me about them. Told me the greatest product for my issue, which he has too. Plantar f. I have worn them for about 2 weeks. I t relieved the pain for a little bit then now 06/13/18 my heel pain is coming back. Not sure what to think. I will continue to wear i mean i paid 54 dollars.

R. Candy, Newham says

These are not working well for my high arches. I had a green pair previously i apparently wore for alomost 4 years while working in the or. I must have not had as bad of foot issues then or worked into them. Not the products fault, its my darn goofy left foot the right is fine. Wore them for a week and didn't try to return them soon enough. Hoping i can find some padding or something to boost my left foot.

. Juliana, Washington

Only reason for 1 star is they fit perfect. After a week of use i have found these inserts useless and uncomfortable for daily use on a factory shop floor. The arch is nowhere near the high profile noted on the box. It feels almost flat. I will give the inserts a try in a pair of shoes that i wear only occasionally.

W. Joanna, Vermont says

Probably just my feet, but these things are painful as heck. I had to unlace my boots while driving and throw the boots with inserts over my shoulder into the back seat due to the pain. I put my old factory inserts back in my boots. Simultaneously with this order, i ordered some green superfeet inserts, and they seem to work fine. Again, most likely my feet, but thought i'd pass on my experience since the difference was so drastic.

G. Gloria, Minnesota

I tried these since the pinnacle powerstep insoles don't last but 3 months for me. At first, the insole felt too narrow. I don't have wide feet and also didn't have to trim the insole itself, so i figured it would be a perfect fit. My foot slid around in my boot the first 2 days. I think i read some reviews about a break in period, so i still continued to wear them. The 3rd day, the balls of my feet were really sore. Again, i figured this was part of the break in woes. 4th and 5th days were more of the same, sore feet and my toes felt like they were right on the edge of the pad. My boots are lace up and i had already tried to reposition the insoles a few times, but it still felt the same every time. By the end of the 6th day, i couldn't take anymore. My feet hurt like hell and my left heel is bruised from the heel cup. I noticed slight pain in it around lunch time, and again chalked it up to the break in. I work construction and am on my feet all day. I have semi high arches and these insoles give great arch support, but sadly fail in all other areas. For the price, i will go back to the powerstep, as it is cheaper, very comfortable from day 1, and will last me exactly 2 months and 3 weeks longer than these. I really wanted to like these, but i should've listened to the reviews.

I thought the higher profile would equate to a higher arch however it's the same shape as their blue insert. Not really sure why you'd buy this over the blue. . Blue is less plastic equal in support equal in shape and offers more room in the shoe. . I appreciate super feet bc they're rigid and will not bend under weight. Yes they're rigid but the arch is low and is better used for people who do not rely on arch support insoles. . I'm rebuilding my arches from years of weight lifting and these have restructured my flat feet to flexible flat arches. Now i need something with a higher arch support to lock my arch in place.

I bought these thinking it would help the pain in my heel, but it actually accentuates the pain. The heel part is hard. The arch is perfect, but it is the heel pain that i was looking for comfort.

These were too short even though i ordered according to their sizing chart and they were extremely narrow. I wear a regular shoe, not a wide width, and these were so narrow that they were uncomfortable. Also, because they were so short, the arch was not placed correctly. I wanted to love these because most reviews were very good but they just we're not for me. Did arrive quickly and i was able to return them so i gave them two stars.

The first hour, walking about in tennis shoes, i would have given these a three star rating - comfortable and dinged only for the high price for something so inexpensive to manufacture. Then, i tried playing tennis. For the first time in many years, got a heel bruise. While the insoles claim extra cushioning and for heel pain - in my case they actually seemed the cause of heel pain. Might add no especially jarring - just a leisurely game of doubles. I think it's the very hard plastic, a poorly shaped heel cup, and the somewhat back toward the heel orientation that combined to cause this.

These fit my work boots well, but the arch support is in the wrong place and sits partly under my heel, causing bad pain in my heels and ankles. Also not much padding under the ball of my feet. Could only wear for 2 hours before my feet were so sore i had to take them out. Not worth what i paid for them. Still looking for a good pair of insoles.
