Price was 0. I bought these for my 10 year old son who complained that his heel always hurt after playing sports. He has a high arch and once he put these in his shoes and cleats, he was thrilled!

Imho. I had plantar fasciitis in my right heel. It was a killer. I invested in good shoes, but also bought these, per my foot doctor suggestion. I now have these in all my shoes. I have to trim them a bit (it tells you how to do this and ain't no big thing). Not sure how long they last. It took some time to get my heel not to kill me, but now i have not had any problems. I used these with good shoes while traveling in europe and walking on cobblestones and uneven surfaces and didn't have to slow down. (fyi - i also believe in a little, nubby, golf-ball size ball that i used consistently whenever i got up from being seated - you just roll it around on the bottom of you sole to keep things running smoothly. I bought mine at a shoe store that carries excellent shoes for feet issues. Took it to europe as well. ) Best green full length | Superfeet-Shoe Accessory Review ( Sep 2019 ) Attribute Superfeet GREEN Full Length Insole Deep heel cup: features the widest and deepest heel cup that offers maximum support and positions the soft tissue to help with natural shock absorption.. Superfeet green full length insole Review (Superfeet)

My podiatrist recommended these and i love them. Allows me to change cute shoes to wearable shoes. I have been teaching on my feet and not my seat for 20+ years. Needless to say the bottom of my feet hurt. I wear these to work out and in shoes that not dansko or crocs and my feet no longer pulsate at the end of the day. Love the fact that they are washable and i can trim them to fit in any shoe. -E. Julia

Superfeet Green Full Length Insole Shoes

  • 6 years ago i was having pain in my feet and knees, so i went to the foot doctor. Turns out i had fallen arches that was causing the problem. They said i could either do these insoles and replace every 6 months or so, or spend hundreds on a special made pair, yet still need to replace. After taping, doing stretches and using these insoles as instructed, my arches went back into shape, i went from a size 12 men's shoe to a correct size 10. 5 shoe. . I buy multiple pairs of these at a time, one for work, one for everyday shoe and a spare pair. I then replace as i need and rotate them around. Pains gone, arches are still good and they are a great price. I'd highly recommend.
  • I bought two pairs of the superfeet green footbeds, one for my new ski boots and one for my other footwear. I tried them on for size and fit in a store before ordering them. In my everyday shoes and boots they fit fine, but in my running shoes they raise my heel up and it rubs. I am going back to just an arch support in those. I bought them for support and not cushioning hense the hard plastic form. The shoe should provide the cushioning.
  • These are hard and uncomfortable insoles. No softness at all. Too much hype and too high price. Not worth it.
  • So after a few months of wearing this insoles i started noticing pain on my feet arches, i think they are to firm for my feet so if you prefer something more padded and softer these are not for you. It would be unfair to give them a 1 star review i think they are good insoles they are just not for me.
  • Terrible. Painful. Way overpriced. I bought these for $60 because i was told they were the best insoles to support my high arch. After a 4 mile walk my feet hurt so bad i could not go on another long walk for 3 days. These inserts not only did not support by arch - the arch support was set back so that it pressed hard against my heel causing tremendous pain. (maybe they are good for small feet, i am men's size 11). The green part of the insert is hard plastic and superfeet insoles have no cushion at all. Dr. Scholl's has a $20 sports gel insole that is much more comfortable. These things are a very hard piece of plastic with some semi-rigid grey foam plastic attached. They are made in korea for probably $0. 50 per pair and these crooks are charging $60 and claiming they are some kind of super special insoles. Do not believe the marketing hype - these are awful.

Stay active and comfortably with the premium insole for maximum support. Superfeet's biomechanical shape and design supports and aligns the bones of the foot, helping to prevent heel and ankle pain, plantar fasciitis, knee stress and hip pain.

I have been wearing superfeet for (at least) four years. I wear them in my sneakers, and am pleased to say that they really help me. I have had fallen arches since i was about eleven years old, and i am nearly thirty now. It is so important to take care of your foot health. Your feet really do support your entire body. If you don't have proper support it can effect your knees, legs, back and basically, the entire structure and way in which you carry your frame. I try to walk at least a mile a day, and i have noticed significant difference in my feet, ankles, shins, legs and even back when i don't wear orthotics. It isn't a positive difference. I really need them every day, any time i intend to walk for an extended period of time, or stand on my feet for a while. Superfeet unisex green premium insoles are cut on a bias, for maximum coverage of feet. I am a size 11 in women's shoes, so, i greatly appreciate this. If need be, you can cut the toe section of these insoles to fit the shape/contour of your shoe. The latest pair i purchased did not require trimming. They fit in my shoes perfectly. Also, these insoles usually last upwards of a year for me, so it is an extremely good investment, and well worth the money. Yes, they are a little more expensive than insoles you might normally purchase at the drugstore, but, the investment really does pay for itself, and is also a very important means to take care of your foot and arch health. We are only born with one pair of feet, and we have to take care of them, so that they can take care of us!

Superfeet GREEN Full Length Insole

These took a few weeks to break in fully. During those weeks i was pretty disappointed with the product. I am not anymore. After i cut them down to size they have been a great ally during my 50-60 hours on my feet every week. I am a chef and i have used many other insoles. These are the most expensive ones that i've ever used, and i'm glad i made the move. These things will outlast my shoes, and after the initial break-in period they provide the perfect amount of arch support and the perfect balance between hard and soft. I would absolutely recommend.

The green offer affordable, professional-grade orthotic support, performance and comfort for anyone who wants their footwear to fit and feel better.

Superfeet Green Full Length Insole (performance) FAQ.

Great product. I have flat feet along with several other issues and these are great (have ordered 4 sets to date). I can wear superfeet all day with no issues. I also have a pair of custom made foot supports that cost over $200, and while i am sure there are some differences, for the cost difference, my feet are just as "happy" at the end of the day with these as the custom built. Have tried a couple of other products over the years and they didn't measure up to superfeet. These were recommended by my foot doc a couple of years ago for aching arches and feet as an option to the high cost for custom's (since my insurance wouldn't cover) . When buying be sure you get the proper product as they have several colors for specific foot issues unlike a lot of the other retail options available where one "fits" all. -Notice from . I wear a women's size 11. I have this product in 3 different pairs & they are very comfortable. I originally had a d & the fit was a little too short for my shoes, so i bought the e's. My pt therapist & other rehab that i have been to, every single one said not to go to the 'better feet' store & to use these. In addition, i did some research & i spoke with my foot & ankle surgeon said that you should feel the arch support towards the heel of your foot. It may sound crazy but for me it works well. This is another reason i bought e's as it fits just as my doctor had said. . I have found this product in a few stores & i sized them first, then i came home & did some price comparison on line & found online store, like the last pair i bought, i waited here & they went on sale & i saved $7 + tax + free shipping. This may not be the case in your neck of the woods. . I recommend & i will always purchase this item.

- Y. CandyNeeded something to make my wide array of flat soled converse shoes actually wearable for any period of time. On the first wear they seem hard and like they wont be comfortable, i was disappointed initially but after a day or two they break in, form to your feet and feel great. Perfect if you have high arches and need that support. I can now wear "flat sole" shoes day after day for 8-12 hours at a time with zero foot pain or issues. I've used them for a year now and they still feel fantastic. I did have to trim a little off the top edges to customize the fit for the particular shoe, but thats to be expected.

I have only had them in my work boots for about four days, but these superfeet green premium insoles are awesome! you see at 65 i have a no cartilage left in my left ankle (as diagnosed by a top podiatrist here in the jacksonville, fl area) and i have neuropathy in 80% of my right foot and i'm on my feet at a big box store for 9 hours a day! my previous insoles worked well for almost two years but needed replacing. These superfeet reduced the amount of pain i was feeling by a significant amount! i am amazed!

Superfeet BLUE Full Length Insole

Ok, like a lot of people here it seems, i've been dealing with heel pain that is probably plantar fasciitis for a while. These things make a huge difference, better than anything else i've tried. They're a little pricey, but it's worth it. They now go in every pair of shoes i buy. . These inserts seem to make the shoe a little stiffer, meaning they distribute pressure across your whole foot rather than letting any particular point get too focused. I've found that helps more than any amount of cushioning (gel, foam, whatever) from cheaper products. . (all that said, the best thing for plantar fasciitis is to remember to stretch your feet, calves, and hamstrings often. In my case, stretching my hamstrings regularly was the first thing that made a noticeable impact on the long term presence of pain. )

Superfeet Blue Full Length Insole (blue active d) FAQ.

I am shocked at the comfort these brought to my back and hips. I have been suffering with back and hip pain ever since a major injury to my right leg. A year ago physical therapy accomplished little to nothing. The pain became severe and a new doctor sent me back to pt but with new orders. This time a senior therapist evaluated me and determined that my right ankle was weak and twisting inward. He send me to the store for superfeet. I had no idea they existed. In about 10 days the pain in the back was completely gone and the hip has little or no pain. (what pain that is left is attributed to mild arthritis. ) -Notice from F. June, Wakefield

I'm in disaster recovery(think katrina) and spend days at a time in my steel toe combat boots which are not known for their pillow soft foot beds. These are a lifesaver and they last longer than those other brands. I have these in my danber rat boots for my recovery work as well as my echo dress shoes for my paying job. These are amazing. . Now one thing you need to keep in mind, you need to know what kind of arch and foot volume you have before you pick the right insert.

- T. SarahSo far so good, i did not get any pain on my right foot which i always get after 2 hours of delivering mail. Surprisingly it fits my shoes perfectly without trimming it. Well today was just the first day so i will do another review after a week. I'm just happy right now not having to deal with the pain all day long.

I heard some doctor from you tube recommended superfeet. So i tried out. I hurt my heel and got plantar fascisis mainly from being cheap and did not replace my working shoes more often, . I think when the shoe started to worn, it tends to tilt to one side, and your foot would also tend to tilt. To prevent plantar fascisis, i think beside comfort also focus on keep your feet and especially the heel straight is very important.

The F.A.Q. for Superfeet Green Full Length Insole (Shoe Accessory)

As a marathoner and long distance runner i had to quit running earlier this year due to serious, debititating pain in both heels (even though i buy top of the line running shoes). My doctor recommended superfeet. I first bought the blue mid-range inserts. Within a month all pain in my left heel was gone. After two months there was still lingering pain in my right heel so i moved up to the green superfeet. The pain in both of my feet is now gone entirely and my residual back pain from an old herniated disc is greatly diminished. Today i ran for the first time in nine months, it felt great. I buy the "e" size for a men's 9. 5 to 11 size. My running shoes and hiking boots are size 10. 5 but i did not have to trim any of the many pairs of superfeet i have. The "e" size fits a 10. 5 exactly. Note that when i first used the blue size the arches felt oddly high and were not especially comfortable but after a few days of arch pain my feet adjusted and i gradually felt the heel pain disappear. When i moved up to the green size a similar thing happened but was not as pronounced. Now when i wear a pair of shoes with the blue size the arch feels to low so any comments people make about them being uncomfortable are true to some degree but give it a few days and your feet will adjust to where they are supposed to be.

It was just a shot in the dark that i got these and they are pricey for insoles and like i said a shot in the dark because they say they are good but i have not heard of them. They work so far, for planters they work very well. Pressure is removed from your heel if you have a high arch. They look like they will be your worst nightmare because they have a hard base but they're very nice. . I will update this as time goes on to see how long they will last.

M. Carolyn, Arkansas says

I have always bought the insoles they sell at the pharmacy or supermarket, and they work okay. Superfeet are a whole different world. The hype is true. My feet feel better, my knees and back feel better. Only thing to bear in mind is that superfeet come in a few varieties, based on the characteristics of your feet, your intended activities, and your shoe style. The green were perfect for me, but it's worth a visit to the superfeet website before buying.

I'm pretty sure i have plantar fasciitis. I've never consulted a physician about it, but the symptoms of what i was experiencing are identical. Desperate for relief, i have tried many different recommendations, from rolling balls under my feet and compression socks to reflexology massage. Many of these gave temporary relief, but the pain would ultimately return after being off my feet for any length of time. I decided to give these insoles a try after reading the glowing reviews. . At first, they didn't seem to do much. Comfortable? yes. Helping me with my foot problems? not so much. I wasn't expecting an overnight success, but after a few weeks the pain was still there. I kept the insoles in my shoes anyway because they were comfortable and did give my feet more support than any other insole i have tried. . Fast forward several months and the pain is gone! . . The change was so subtle that i didn't even notice the improvement at first. I finally realized one day that my feet didn't hurt anymore. Ever. No more thinking the bottom of my foot is going to split open after getting out of bed or limping across the parking lot after commuting to/from work. These things are amazing and i plan to always keep a pair of them in all of my shoes.

Excellent product, for the first time an insole support that goes up to size 14, (as opposed to a certain major manufacturer that believes all feet stop growing at twelve. ) good solid support and a great price, comfort is high, weight is low and all around this is one of the better insoles you can buy at the price point.

. Susana, Southend-on-Sea

I bought these insoles because after being on my feet all night at work, my feet were in considerable pain that. . Dr. Shoals couldn't even begin to ease. My feet literally felt as if they had tiny breaks in them, but then i decided to. . Try. . Superfeet! . . At first i was a little apprehensive because the insoles were hard, but i am extremely glad that i gave them a chance. My. . Feet feel better now than they have in years! i wish i could give these babies 100+ stars! . . Thank you, superfeet!

Y. Lisa, Lewisham says

I think many of the other reviews covered some very important details. 1. Each version/color of superfeet is different, arch type seems to be the biggest variation. 2. Maybe you buy a larger size for longer arch length. 3. Maybe you pay a few dollars more and buy (at least the first one) in person. . I love superfeet green. I bought both green and copper. The copper has thicker heel and works well in pair of keen utility (or any shoe that has larger/roomier inside). However the green were perfect for me. . I have size 11 feet, and a very normal arch (surprising given my weight). However, i have narrow heals, which combined with lack of stretching and my weight results in plantar fascia getting inflamed on occasion. Until now, i've used dr. Scholls gel heel pads. Those are awesome, yet i do not like them moving around. Back 5-10 years ago i loved merrel shoes, in part because of the nicely cupped heel (note: in past 5 years merrel's are garbage for me as they are too flimsy/flexible). I've since switched to keen utility, salamon (only the gtx). I've found the gortex version of shoes seem to have more stiffness. . Replacing the entire insole with superfeet (or for my keen utility albany, putting superfeet on top of existing insole). Is the best solution yet. I tried them in casual dress shoes, hiking shoes, motorcycle boots. Felt great in everything. . Shoes today seems to have gone soft, so superfeet give me the stiffer sole that i need to stay pain free.

S. Gladys, Baden-Wuerttemberg

Felt hard out of the box, thought there would have been more cushioning but the way it fits so perfectly it felt as if i had gel insoles. Been in the army for 10 years and these are best insoles ive ever had. Put them in steel toe work boots and worked a 14 hr shift with no pain what so ever. These insoles will be the only ones i buy from now on.

O. Josephine, Haute-Normandie says

This is extremely comfortable once inserted inside your shoes. The comfort it provides far outweighs the cost, which i have to say is pretty high. I use these in my $50-70 shoes. The $100+ shoes do not need these as their insoles are really comfortable and provide good support. I would suggest you buy these for the less expensive shoes if you have any, like skechers, rockports, etc.

A. Anonymous, West Virginia

Feels good, but did not match up with my shoe size. I have a size 9 mens shoes, so got the one for size 9 mens and it does not completely cover the bottom of my sole, so my toes hang off of the side of the sole enough to bother me. I like it otherwise though.

. Ross, Ohio says

After a bout of plantar fasciitis, a foot doctor fit me with these in the office. That was about three years ago, and have not had any issues. These are the only insoles i buy now, and online store sells them at a great price. If you have a standing job or excersize a lot, i suggest these; better than dr. Scholls.

H. Anderson, Essex

These insoles were recommended to me by my podiatrist. I first bought them at my local pharmacy and later discovered them to be cheaper on online store! score! i will by a pair for all of my shoes as i find a huge difference walking long distances without them. They really make a difference!

L. Guest, Alberta says

My orthopedic surgeon recommended these. They are great because i can remove the stock insoles on my favorite running shoes and place these in. Immediate plantar fasciitis pain relief after wearing a day or two. I saw mention of orthaheel brand for other shoes including dress shoes and sandals and bought a few pair of those. I love the smart feet and the orthaheel but the smart feet insoles only last about 3 months with light amount use. (i walk and exercise in these and wear orthaheel shoes to work where i am on my feet all day. ) the orthaheel shoes all continue to have great support to this day while the smart feet have really worn down. I'm buying another pair instead of buying more orthaheel walking shoes because i like wearing my vented addidas when taking long walks in 80-90degree heat.

P. Irene, Kensington and Chelsea says

Superfeet's site notes that the arch support for some can feel too far back toward the heel. That was the case for me. I solved it by getting the size 15. 5-17 for my size 13 feet, then trimming the toes of the insole to fit.

W. Crawford, Brandenburg

I've been using superfeet green for about 4 years now and i trust no other. Prior to using them, i invested in a pair of custom orthotics ($400) from a podiatrist since i have no arch in my feet. This lack of arch puts a slight torque on my knees when i walk and having a robust arch support prevents this. I first purchased superfeet green because i wanted extra cushioning in my work boots. As it turns out, they are shaped exactly the same as my prescribed polymer orthotics, so they give me the arch support i need with very comfortable cushioning. I still use my custom orthotics in my sneakers and dress shoes and there is no pain switching to/from the superfeet. What surprised me the most about these insoles is their durability. Despite all of the walking and impact they absorb in my work boots, i only seem to have to replace them once a year or so. Most importantly, at the end of each work day, my feet and knees feel completely fine. . I see there is some debate about whether these insoles are appropriate for low/zero arch feet. I would highly recommend these for flat feet. The arch itself is not very substantial, so i could see these insoles being comfortable for all foot profiles.

J. June, Cambridgeshire says

I've been wearing these for years on the advice of my doctor, and they help a lot with high arches. I just wanted to point out that you can't necessarily go by the size chart. The only way to know for sure which size you need is to take them out of the box and put them up against the bottom of your foot, making sure that the arch of the insoles line up with the arches of your feet. . I wear a size 7. 5 or 8 women's shoe, but i need a size e in the superfeet. I trim the toe ends down with scissors until they fit into my shoe. The reason i know to do this is that i first purchased these at a very good shoe store, and they went through this process with me.

Q. Broyles, Montana

When i worked in a running store this is what we recommended. Instead of just "filling-in" the arch it actually helps keep it from collapsing to begin with, which is why it feels quite odd (and not uncommonly somewhat uncomfortable) at first. The high part sits right at the back of the arch, where the heel starts rising, so that takes some time to get used to. It will make your feet hurt for a little bit until they're broken in. It should not make your knees or hips or any joint hurt; if it is, you may have the wrong size or the wrong color. If green isn't working for you because of joint aching in other places, blue might be better for you as it's not as far up. If you pronate when you run, for the love of your knees and hips please get something in your shoes! the sock liner that comes with your running shoes will feel great for a little bit (and it's supposed to in the store), but once it compresses the cushy feeling goes away, and it was never really helping with pronation at all. Shoes for pronation are stiffer and don't twist with that foot motion but don't do anything to keep the arch anatomically correct. To size them for your running shoe, take out the sock liner, and put both of them upside down. Put the sock liner on top of the superfeet, heel on top of heel and straightened out along the arch edge (since you'll be cutting away some material, you want to cut away from the side that isn't on the arch edge preferentially) and trace the line out. Then cut just inside that line by a hair. When you put the superfeet into your shoe make sure they have just a little bit of wiggle. Half a cm or so should be fine. On a personal note with these things, when i met my husband he had horrible hip pain. He was only 24, but he ran a lot in the navy and he pronated heavily. I got him into proper shoes and made him stick with the week or so breaking in period for the superfeet also. His hip pain started to go away, and after a couple of months it only bugged him when he laid down on his side. If you're having trouble figuring out which one is for you, go to a running store that carries these and have them help fit you. They're very much worth the trouble.

I. Jarvis, Devon says

I have suffered with plantar fasciitis for 2 years. I started using the foot rocker to stretch my calf muscles which did help a bit but after reading all of the good reviews, i decided to give superfeet a try. They were not really uncomfortable when i started using them but they did feel different. After my first few walks, my feet ached a bit after resting, but it wasn't p. F. I think my feet were adjusting. After about 4 days of use, i awoke to less foot pain than i've had in a really long time. This product is definitely worth a try (stretching is important as well).

F. Cindy, Hawaii

Been wearing these for 2 years now, and i can't imagine a pair of shoes without them. My arches fell after my 4th half-marathon, and my job requires a lot of walking. I could barely stand. I bought superfeet inserts, and i haven't had a problem since. They held up incredibly well, too. Last for ages.

C. Isabel, Bournemouth says

My husband had worn the insoles out in the oboz boots he bought two years ago. After trying repeatedly (without any replies) to contact oboz about getting replacement insoles, i found these superfeet insoles here on online store. They arrived in two days, with prime shipping, and my husband put them in his boots. . They fit perfectly in his size 14 boots, and he immediately loved the arch support and feel of these insoles. We thought we might have to cut them down because they fit boots up to size 15, but they fit without any adjustments. He likes the way they cushion his steps, and that the fabric on the top doesn't allow his sock to slip inside the boot. . They aren't cheap, but they are much better than the $8 dr. Scholl's insoles we found in stores.

D. Denise, Doncaster

These are truly the best inserts for people with high arches who want serious arch support for hiking or backpacking. They are costly and there are many other brands for much less, but these are the ones you want. I have been using these for over 20 years and they have made all the difference for me. I use them in every boot that i wear and also in most shoes i wear. The first thing i do when i buy a pair of new boots it tear out the so called "inserts" and put these inside. You won't believe the difference. If your arches are high and you cannot stand boots with no arch support (like all of em are) then these will do the trick for you. At first, they may feel strange, but in a short while, your feet will be used to them and you won't be wanting to wear anything on your feet that doesn't have a pair of these inside. Superfeet are deluxe therapy for the feet. The company knows what its doing. These are simply the best you can get, the best that money can buy. I have searched but never found any like these :-)

Z. Franklin, Yukon Territory says

My orthopedist recommended superfeet green insoles to help me better position my feet when walking, in conjunction with treatment for an arthritic knee. I cannot judge whether they are working or not but they fit in almost all my footwear and are quite comfortable.

N. Alba, Rheinland-Pfalz

I didn't realize how high my arches were or just how flat my feet are until i went to the new balance website on which i found out how to determine if someone has high arches and flat feet or some other foot shape. I have reaaaaally high arches and flat feet, which explains the plantar fasciitis i have developed at age 64. That and wearing high heels for work, even though i don't go over 2 1/12 inches of heel height and use wedges not pumps. This morning i got up and was wearing my slippers. My heel hurt as it often does in the morning. I put on my shoes with the superfeet insoles and within minutes the heel pain had subsided. I will be buying more of these for other shoes so that i don't have to move them from shoe to shoe as i am doing now. Definitely recommend for someone with high arches and flat feet as i have. They would probably have prevented the development of plantar fasciitis, had i ever realized that i was at risk of developing it.

After 20+ years of playing weekend basketball, i noticed my heels were really starting to ache the last few times i played. The pain got so bad that it would linger through the next morning, causing me to walk gingerly around the house, and so i starting looking for solutions. After searching around and talking to friends, i purchased these superfeet insoles. First time playing basketball with them, my heels were a little sore after a few games but nothing like before. Another few weeks of playing basketball and i don't notice any issues with my heels at all anymore. I'm sold (enough to take the time to write this review).

K. Medina, Derbyshire

I've used the superfeet green insoles in all of my shoes for more than 5 years. If i don't have them in a shoe my feet start to hurt but with these it makes everything much more comfortable. They do wear down though, so i get a new set for every new pair of shoes.

Disadvantage and Critical reviews

X. Edna, Shropshire says

I wouldnt reccomend these to my worst enemy! hard and unforgiving! worst money i ever spent! dont buy these! they are horrible!

. Guest, Rochdale

I am giving this product a lower review for the simple fact that i cannot wear the product at all. I paid 45 dollars for these insoles and feel it was a complete waste of money. I was told by my md to try super feet for the pain i have been having in my feet. After researching for some time, i decided to try the green insoles. They arrived and were larger than i expected, but there was an option to cut them to fit your shoes. I measured and cut, and inserted them into my shoes. My advice is if you want to at least try the product, have a larger pair of shoes handy. My feet felt very tight and uncomfortable, and the arch support was rubbing in the wrong area for my foot. I wore them a total of 20 minutes before the pain bothered my feet and felt that i was getting blisters. I will stick to paying 10 to 15 dollars for inserts like dr. Scholl's, they worked better than the super feet for me.

Q. Monique, City of Bristol says

These are very thin insoles, so they don't offer any cushioning so for me they are no good. The only thing they do is lift your arch up which for me doesn't help. I like having an insole that offers cushion so i can stand and walk for a long ways and these superfeet just absolutely don't do that. . These green ones lift your arch the most, the blue ones lift your arch even less high and the black ones don't lift up the arch almost at all. . Go into a store and try on all the different colors of the superfeet insoles and try on all the other insoles that the store has to offer before you purchase.

. Jackson, Newcastle upon Tyne

I have been having knee problems for about a year now as i was training for a at hike. I also am on my feet alot at work and average about 3-4miles of walking per day. In the summer season that goes up to 4 -5 miles a day. An that don't count once i am off work. After researching and talking in various forums, alot of people swear by these. So i got a pair hoping for some help with tired feet and shock absorption for the knees. After just a week of wearing them i have returned them as my feet were hurting and ankle throbbing. The padding they use is not very giving, a stiff foam that doesn't give much in the shoe. The hard plastic stabilizing heel cup, what the heck were they thinking - hard plastic- does not help with padding or comfort. Made it feel like i was walking in the boots without an insole at times. The arch support for me was to far back and after a few days of wear, showed no signs of conforming to my feet. Two days ago i came home from work and my toes were aching from the heel being elevated enough to put me walking forward on that foot. They all felt bruised and i was walking with a noticeable favoring of that foot. My wife noticed right away as asked what she could do to help. I sent her out to get me a pair of dr. Scholl's work boot insoles. They have alot of cushioning for people on their feet all day. Wore them in my boots one day and had no problems, toes are feeling so much better, no arch pain and did a 4. 5 mile day at work with no feet fatigue. Just put through my return and will be sending these back today. In closing, i don't know if these will help you if you are having feet problems already. For me they made everything worst.

J. Bullock, Warrington says

While these insoles serve a very important purpose (offering correct pronation) please know what you're buying and make sure they're right for you. I used these to replace the insoles in my asics nimbus running shoes in order to correct the shoe's lack of arc. The superfeet were excellent in this capacity. While they claim that the placement of the arch (which is pretty far back) is normal, it is still uncomfortable after 2 months of use. I'm also having problems with the rigid, somewhat unforgiving stiffness in the insoles. I'm sure that many people like this, but it is hampering my running ability. With the superfeet, i feel a definite "slap" every time my shoe hits the ground when running. I've also developed some irritating shin splints since changing to the superfeet. This never happened when i used these same shoes without the superfeet. Walking and boxing training with the superfeet has been an improvement over the stock insoles though. So, while i can recommend them for walkers and those doing most gym work, runners should take an objective look. On the positive side, the size f men's fit perfectly into the size 13 asics nimbis. These are very durable and i believe they'll probably outlast the shoes. While i appreciate the way these corrected my shoe's lack of arc, the negatives are enough that i must search for something better suited toward my body. They might work perfectly for you though, so definitely give them a look.

L. Rhonda, Devon

Dr scholls give more cushion than these, and the arch support is not high enough for someone like me who has a very very high arch. I guess i have to stick with custom ones as my arch is so high.

N. Judith, Champagne-Ardenne says

I thought i ordered a size f. I clicked on a size f. Into my cart goes a size f wide. So even if it doesn't say "wide" when you click to add it to your cart, carefully double-check the description once it is in your cart/before checkout!

I. Valencia, Northamptonshire

I should have known when i had to choose a size for the insert that supposedly fit a range of shoe sizes, but i thought these might be the kind of insert that you cut down to fit. The superfeed green heritage insoles fit into my new running shoes perfectly, but the arch placement is all wrong. Instead of supporting my arch, the insoles created a hard bump under the forward end of my heel. So my arches weren't supported, *and* i had a painful bump under my heel. It seemed okay in the house, but when i wore them for a 1. 5 mile walk outside the "arch" support caused pain in my heel. There's no way to move the arch support to where it should be, so these were just a waste of money.

U. Beale, Trafford says

I discovered these because they came stock in a pair of montelliana hiking boots i bought a long, long time ago. When they wore out, i bought another pair, because i liked them, and then bought a pair for some trail running shoes. . They were better than other insoles i'd used, but only ok in terms of arch support. And the plastic fatigues and cracks after a while. Eventually i went on a quest for better insoles, and discovered sole brand. They're simpler they don't have the two-piece design of the superfeet. And they're better in every way. . Just buy sole. They last many times longer, offer real arch support, are amazingly comfortable (i have them in all my shoes, from cycling shoes to trail running shoes to boots to chuck taylors), and if the arch is too high for you, you can custom mold them in the oven. . Skip the superfeet.

E. Connie, Wandsworth

Stand on cement floor all day, tried jell and all that. So i tried these because of the reviews. Feet and knees dont hurt worse then before but definetly are not better. Still hurt standing after a few hours.

F. Melissa, Colorado says

Chafing issue on the insole. Prefer pinnacle over these.

H. Guest, Basse-Normandie

This insole was no better than the factory installed insole which came with the hiking boots. It is thin, hard, uncomfortable and offers little support. Save your money. Search for another alternative. I do not recommend.

C. Wells, Manitoba says

Ouch. I've bought all kinds of insoles and figured these had to be good because of the price and reviews. I walk 10 hours a day and these kill my feet

. Jarvis, Baden-Wuerttemberg

Given my feet, the green superfeet were a disappointment for the price compared to other otc orthopedic devices and i feel i have wasted my money. They may work for you, but not my feet. . I ask for a referral for ortho insoles and the orthopedic dr suggested super feet (i tore up my knee). I called superfeet and they suggested green for high arches. I guess they really didn't get it when i said i have really high arches. . I have gotten dr scholls in cvs that performed much better. Best insoles/arch supports i ever had were made by the lsu football and basketball trainer but i lost the convenience of going to baton rouge. . If you have high arches. Run, run away and go to cvs or to a podiatrist and get custom ones. I am pronating, collapsing arches, plantar facitis and now i tore a knee. . This aging sucks! what the orthopedic dr forgot to tell me was i could aleviate many of these problems by losing 60 - 70 lbs but that is a another issue altogether.

P. Michele, Pays de la Loire says

Edit:. After several weeks of wearing these supports a few things came to mind. First, my heels were hurting like mad and second, even though this was supposed to be for high arches, it didn't really work well for my high arches. I have since returned to the dr. Scholl's massaging gel sport insoles with better results for my heels, arches and even my knees. . These inserts my well work for some. I seem to be one of those for whom "working well" was fleeting. . - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -. . (original review) i work standing up most of the day on sealed concrete. In addition to having high arches, which is why i was steered to the green insoles, i have a bad knee thanks to my years in the military. . I went to a mortar and brick store that carries these along with hiking, biking, climbing, camping and backpacking equipment. I spoke with a woman in the shoe department about my situation. She checked my feet and directed me to the greens due to my arches. She also recommended i get a size larger than what i would have fit within (8 to 8-1/2s). . I pulled the old beaten down dr. Scholl's out of the shoes, used each as a template for its replacement and began cutting. They cut nicely but not so easily that you could have accidently ripped something while cutting. In fact, there was enough fight back to let you know you better mean business. I say that in a good way. The insoles slipped nicely into my shoes. . Do as the directions suggest, break them in ahead of time. Wear them an hour or so the first day, a few more hours the second, etc. It's better to do this at home on a weekend. If it doesn't work out for you, you won't be stuck with them in your shoes while at work or away from home.

T. Ruby, Cornwall

I was only able to use these for a few days because they are so squeaky! i tried trimming them again and putting powder between the shoe and insole, but neither of those options worked. I will be switching back to pinnacle insoles!

Y. Rebecca, Suffolk says

Here's the thing. These are for people with very high arches. Not average arches. Very high. The arch starts in the front of my heel and jams into my foot a full 2 inches before my arch even starts. I have decently normal arches and these are terrible for me. I'm going to give the blue superfeet a try. I think if you don't give these a try for fit 1st, you're asking for trouble -or at least annoyance. I don't think that you should order these online without a fitting 1st. I also don't think that these will fit most people well, and they will pound into your arch and give you plantar fasciitis if you don't get the right fit. These try to contort my foot into an unnatural position. . That being said i think they are well made and work for a lot of people. I need better inserts for a couple of pairs of my hiking shoes. These make my feet ache just sitting here at a desk writing this. They just don't fit my average-like foot well. I still have hope for the blues. I wear a lot of flat shoes. Whatever "arch support" means (having a big lump push up into a non-weight bearing area of your foot), it may not be for me. I wish i could return them, but it's too late.

O. Mathis, Hartlepool

I have very high arches, so i figured these would be good insoles for me. Boy was i wrong. First off, these insoles are rock hard, there is no shock absorption when landing on the ball of your foot . Wearing these hurt my feet more than running barefoot. I just completed a 4 mile run on blacktop/sidewalk and got blisters just below my middle toe on my forefoot. The build quality seems to be very good, but these insoles are not for me, at least not for running.

S. Franklin, Bexley says

I have plantar fascitus and it got really bad after using these for a few weeks. I am in a lot of pain and cannot walk normally as a result.

Z. Clara, Wisconsin

I bought these to put into combat boots for a cosplay, and i can't say they helped my feet at all. Actually, the last time i wore them they gave me sharp ankle pains. I wore them for about 3 hours and i was mostly standing. . I have high arches and prefer flat shoes. So i tried ripping the plastic off the bottom to flatten them a bit, but again these don't seem to do much at all but make my boots tighter. Definitely not worth the price. . If you have high arches avoid these like the plague.

M. Wayt, Barnet says

Claims to be good for supination (walking on the outside edge of the foot). These insoles were worthless in my experience. I was trying to relieve plantar fasciitis caused by high arches, but the arches in these insoles were actually quite low. They were no better than a flat slab of foam. Can't imagine why they are priced as they are. They should cost about $40 less.

G. Newell, Peterborough

My only issue with this product is the price, hence 2 stars. I have used superfeet green for well over ten years now. Long ago a foot doctor told me to use it so i have. Many years ago this product's list price was $35 (e. G. At rei), but now it's $50. Why is this? nothing has changed. This can't be too hard to make or copy. Can someone recommend a competing product that is less expensive?

W. Guest, Croydon says

I really wanted to like these. So many lives seemed to have improved with superfeet! i was hoping my chronic leg pains, which i've attributed to poor arch support, would find relief with my new green superfeet. That may still happen, hence the 2 stars. But so far all i have to show for this $35 purchase are two large and painful blisters on both arches. I could feel the blisters developing within ten minutes of my morning run. I followed the instructions: removed my shoe liners & trimmed to fit (though not much trimming was needed to match the liner pattern). Superfeet are supposed to move back and forth with your foot; but clearly my arch is rubbing back and forth along the edge of the insert, so either my foot or the insert is moving, but not both. Suggestions, anyone? . I'll update the rating if this changes. But for now, i'm disappointed that i won't be running as normal this week until the blisters heal.

D. Sheila, Lancashire

I liked them at first, but now after 2 months they're worn down and i don't feel the support anymore. I figure for $40-$50 they'd last longer than 2 months.

K. Mahood, South Tyneside says

I was able to try these out in a store. One reviewer describes them exactly as they were to me - too short in the arch-to-heel distance. This causes the front of your heel to push down on the arch in the product. In other words, the upward curvature of the arch in the insert needs to begin another half-inch or inch more forward from the back of the insert. I'm a 10. 5 with a high arch high-volume foot (means top of foot is high too). We moved up to the next size, just standing on the insert, not in a boot. Still too short. Went up to the 13. 5-15 size. Perfect. But of course too long for the shoe. Took out the soles of my hiking boots, traced it on the superfeet insoles (with the heels lined up equally), and trimmed the toes down (no heel removed). Voila! i believe this is the only way the design of this brand can accommodate standard high arch, high volume feet like mine.

R. Cindy, Maine

Absolute worst idea ever. The arch support is actually too close to my heel. It causes pressure on both the arch and heel that i could not tolerate for less than 100 steps. These were placed in very good shoes to help with the fact that i do over 10k steps a day at work. I didn't even get to walk the dog with them on they were so uncomfortable. It is no surprise they do not take returns, they would be broke. Do not buy!
