Review for /powerstep slimtech orthopedic insoles support

Price was 19. I ordered these hoping that i could use them in some light summer shoes that are normally worn without socks. I know the full length inserts would work and was hopeful this was a good option. The shoes were a bit snug but the inserts did the trick as my feet didn't ache afterwards. I call that a success as i can wear my favorite warm weather shoes without discomfort. Only 4 stars to this point as it's only been a week or so but so far so good.

Foreword

Bought these to help with some painful plantar fasciitis that flares up every now and then. I need the extra heel cushion plus i have extremely high arches which causes bad callouses and other foot pain so i wanted to find good arch support as well. These have been ok, although i have to wear them under the shoes normal insole otherwise the from of my feet have no padding or protection but a full powerstep insole makes some shoes as they make the shoes too tight. Using the 3/4 length insole plus the regular insole, give me the structure and comfort while allowing me to fit in my shoes. Best slimtech length orthopedic foot | Powerstep-Shoes Review ( Sep 2019 ) Items Powerstep SlimTech 3/4 Length Orthopedic Foot Insoles Support All Sizes Semi-rigid arch support: arch support and heel cradle for increased support and stability in your shoes.. Moderate cushioning: variable cushioning technology provides targeted cushioning with a soft, supportive feel.. Anti-microbial top fabric: by reducing heat and friction, the top fabric leaves feet more comfortable, protected, and cool.. Ultra thin design: flexible, hard plastic arch supports with a thin, tapered edge design fit comfortably in most shoes.. Moveable from shoe to shoe: the 3/4 length shoe insert can fit on top of existing shoe insoles, while the non-slip pad at the heel holds the orthotic in place. .

Powerstep slimtech 3/4 length orthopedic foot insoles support all sizes Review (501203as)

These are a life saver for me. I have very high arches and needed better support in my shoes. However, a typical full insole made my shoes too tight and my heels come out of the back of all my shoes. These are supportive, but are also thin enough that i can put them in shoes and still wear them (without needing to purchase bigger shoes). The support itself is pretty rigid, but not completely solid, and the padding is nice on my feet. I wear these every day in my thin flats. -O. Meyer

PROS
  • I buy these for my daughter. She wears one pair in her soccer cleats and another in regular shoes. They fit nicely in tighter fitting shoes, they also provide great comfort and support accessing to my 14 year old daughter (and they hate everything! ). She wears an 8. 5 shoe, so we opted for the size 9 insert and they work nicely.
  • I received these inserts and immediately tried them on and fell immediately in love with them. You will not believe how comfortable these are. I have chronic plantar fasciitis and require some sort of additional support to keep the pain down. These fit the bill wonderfully and now i can't imagine being without them. I'm tell you, you will love these inserts.
CONS
  • These take up a lot of space in the shoe. I attempted to use them in leather dress boots but they caused so much discomfort i ended up throwing them away as it was past my return date. I don't recommend these at all, unless you have very lose shoes.
  • I have worn this particular orthotic for several years. At first i purchased them from my doctor, then i found them on online store for much less $. But the last few that i purchased, have not been as durable and long lasting. I'm not too happy at this point, going to contact the manufacturer, in regard to their customer satisfaction replacement warranty as stated on the box. I have several pairs of these orthotics so that i'm not constantly switching them in and out of every pair of shoes. They aren't worn daily, and only 6 mons old. I have always been able to wear them for over a year or more. This is my experience, and was happy up till now.
  • Got these because dr. Recommended them for my dress shoes. Tried them in a pair of flats. Not flattering. Did not provide expected support. Did not fit into show well. Made noise as i walked. Maybe i will try in my sneakers, before i buy the recommended super feet brand

Bought these for the boots that my pinnacle maxx insoles were too thick for. Have only worn them a couple of days but they sure made my new boots fit better! i think they are going to be at least almost as good as the full size ones-which have brought me back from sever plantar fasciaitis (ok, spell check doesn't know that one either! ) and a torn fascia. A good physical therapist is well worth the money as well.

Click to see NoticePowerstep Slimtech 3/4 Length Orthopedic Foot Insoles Support Sizes (501203as)"I love the support these offer. When you feel them they feel like they will do nothing. They are not flexible and the padding does not seem significant. I was very skeptical when i put them in my shoes, but i was very pleasantly surprised. The cushion these offer for my heel and the arch support are great. I have worn arch supports since i was 20 (i'm now 50) so i have had my share of supports. A year ago i developed plantar fasciitis. I have been looking for something to put in my shoes to help with both conditions and these do it. My arches are not sore at the end of the day and my heel never bothers me with these on. As soon as i put them on i could feel the cushion on my heel. I am able to put them in flats and most heels. I know i should not wear heels but i am not ready to give up heels yet. . This was my second pair. I wear a size 7 shoe and based on the guidance i bought a medium. They felt slightly different from my first pair and i attributed it to them being new. I finally looked at the size of the first pair and they are a small so my next pair will be a small. I use to wear a 6. 5 and i have a narrow foot. I probably considered that when i bought the first pair. . My daughter works part time in a restaurant as a server. She was home for the holidays and picked up some shifts. Her feet were killing her and i suggested she try these. She was skeptical and not impressed when she felt them. She loved them. She put them in her booties one night when she was going out and fell in love with them even more. She is trying to take them back to school. Because they are a little big (she wears an 8) for me i may give in."

This front area of the foot, comprised of the metatarsal bones, is very sensitive and prone to damage and pain when too much pressure is put on it. Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx Full Length Orthotic Shoe Insoles

I have rather severe pronation and these inserts went into my shoes easily and really provide support to the inside of my foot, supporting the arch and with a good heel cup, supporting my foot to lessen the pronation, and relieving the pain i was having.

Powerstep pinnacle maxx features a uniquely designed heel that offers mildly angled platform for maximum support. The pinnacle maxx increases foot comfort and stability in work, athletic or casual shoes with its eva foam cushioning and anti-microbial top layer to reduce heat and friction, as well as with its firmer shell. Wearing/fitting directions: remove the shoe s existing insoles if possible and replace with your powerstep insoles. Trim edges if needed to fit. If necessary, wear a few hours a day until feet are accustomed to better support, and then wear full time. Suggest wearing powerstep insoles in all your shoes, even slippers, to give continuous foot support. Care instructions: spot clean with a mild detergent. Do not immerse in water. Air dry only. Replace your powerstep insoles as needed depending on wear. Warning: not intended for persons with severe foot deformities or circulatory disorders resulting in infections or foot ulcerations. Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx Full Length Orthotic Shoe Insoles (5015 01e) FAQ.

These are the best insoles for value and endurance. They are not as pricey as other insoles, but for the money, your feet and your back will thank you. If you are on your feet for long periods, do a lot of walking or have issues like overpronation or plantar fasciitis, get these for all of your shoes. -Notice from Y. Sandra, Norfolk

Good insoles! recommended by my podiatrist. Have been using them for a few years now. Will keep using them until something else better comes up or whatever the podiatrist recommends again. Only issue is the top cover/layer. I wish it was made from better/sturdier materials. With $30. 00 plus per pair, you would think they will make these things a little bit better; however, they have to continue making money so planned obsolescence i guess.

- C. PaulaI have been using the powerstep products for over 10 years now. They are quality stiff, yet a nice foam topped arch support. My arch on my right foot is basically collapsed. I walk on the bone above the arch and receive cortisone shots in multiple places on a regular basis (at least until they provide a better surgical alternative for fixing collapsed arches). I had to add a foam additional arch support given at the podiatrist's office to the right foot only. These are like all the powerstep insolses-quality, comfortable and will last a year or more dependent on how often you wear the shoes they are in. I definitely can recommend this product along with the 1/2 arch support insoles they make.

I almost didn't get these because some one said they squeak. Mine don't. They help with my issue which is perionial tendinitis. It's not a cure but definitely in less pain.

Powerstep Original Full Length Orthotic Shoe Insoles

These have a lot more arch support than other insoles i've seen and that might be too much for some people. But for me, they worked better than any others i've tried, including some $50 superfeet. My judgement is based solely on how my feet feel the morning after a day that i walk or stand a lot.

Powerstep's original, fundamental design from which all of our other orthotic insoles were developed. Encapsulated design with a firm but flexible support shell, built-in arch support and heel cradle for increased stability. Moderate, dual-layer cushioning. Ultra-thin, low profile design fits in most casual, dress and athletic shoes. An ideal orthotic insert for preventing and alleviating pain associated with plantar fasciitis, metatarsal pain, heel or arch pain and discomfort, mild to moderate pronation and sore/aching feet. Care instructions are spot clean with a mild detergent. Do not immerse in water. Air dry only. Replace your powerstep insoles as needed depending on wear

Powerstep Original Full Length Orthotic Shoe InsolesPowerstep-Original-Length-Orthotic-Insoles

Powerstep Original Full Length Orthotic Shoe Insoles (5001 01d) FAQ.

This is my second pair. The first pair was prescribed to me by my podiatrist before my bunion surgery. I have continued to use them in post surgery phase. For all new users you need to allow your feet to get used to being reshaped on how you walk and run. Ever notice when you buy a pair of running shoes or any shoes you are paying $80-150/pair or more, the insole in the shoes are worth about $0. 50 ? well the mfg wont give you quality insoles in cheaper or more expensive shoes because they know that quality insoles will increase the life to the shoe since you will likely wear them properly and not buy more pairs of shoes. Try these out. Don't stack the insoles as many tend to do, if the old ones are glued in , work them out ot replace them with these. Give them a little time to get your arches get use to them and you will probably never look back. Your calves and heels may cry a little in the beginning since you are shifting the "footprint" of your step which will transfer the changes in your joints and muscle up your ankles and calves and maybe even knees. It is ok, as you have even using those muscles and joints to compensate for poor walking habits anyways and they are just thanking you. -Notice from U. Mable, Kentucky

These are great if you hav orthotics like me and get tired of transferring zthem from one pair of shoes to the other. They obviously don't replace orthotics, but for short periods (like a golf game) they are perfect.

- T. PeteTightness/pain in my left "posterior tibial tendon" from running with a slight roll towards the inside of my foot-this solved the problem right away and besides the first run i haven't even noticed the difference. It's slightly thicker than what i'd expect most running soles are, but i actually like that my shoe fits more snugly.

These are excellent! they are close enough in level of support for my plantar fasciitis that i'll be buying more of them instead of the expensive sporting goods store orthotics. They seem to fit into most of my shoes, but can also be trimmed to fit. Very glad i found these!

The F.A.Q. for Powerstep Slimtech 3/4 Length Orthopedic Foot Insoles Support Sizes (501203as)

My foot doctor sold me a pair of these at his office for $40. 00 to help with the pain in my feet. They felt so comfortable and supportive after the nurse slipped them into my shoes that i bought another pair the next day on online store for a much more reasonable price. You have to wear them in all of your shoes, even slippers, for the best results. These offer excellent support; make walking easier, and after a month of use the foot pain has virtually disappeared. These were all he recommended - no cortisone shots, no anti-inflammatory pills. My feet healed just from the support of these insoles. Your foot pain situation may be different, but these worked for me.

Not expensive, but perform the exact same as the pricey ones from the podiatrist! i have the $80 pair that i bought under my fsa from the podiatrist and they may even be this brand (the letters on the heal are mostly worn off). But if i can get these for less than 25% of that price and they provide the same support as the 'professional' ones, then i'm going to do it! and these fit that bill! i will most likely order another pair, just so i can rotate them between all my flat-footbed work shoes.

Best powerstep slimtech 3/4 length orthopedic foot insoles support sizes (501203as) in review

These are a very cost effective and useful shoe insert -especially in sport shoes! . . I play singles tennis (i'm married, just sayin) and i weigh about 208 lbs. I received some insoles from my podiatrist which are great for my dress shoes and everyday casual shoes and they are able to be re-formed, yet they could not handle the stresses of playing tennis and providing support (i can tell they are collapsing when i begin to experience knee pain). . The powerstep slim tech are a huge improvement over the powerstep insoles i purchased several years ago. They are indeed slimmer, fit nicely, and do not slide inside the shoes. I do not remove the inner sole which comes with the shoes; these are 3/4 length and will not function properly without the original inner sole left in place. . I am extremely pleased with these inner soles. I replaced a pair of powerstep 3/4 inner soles which i had almost two years (actually, i should have replaced them after 18 months). I have 3 pair of tennis shoes and rotate them for greater durability & life. These are fantastic inserts and i could not be happier with them!

V. Melissa, Northamptonshire says

These were recommended to me by my surgeon. I had ankle ligament and tendon reconstruction. After coming out of the boot i developed plantar fasciitis. He pulled these up on the online store site and told me they were as good as anything he could get for me through their office and were much more reasonably priced. I ve been wearing the for over a week now and have had a significant reduction in heel pain. I am very pleased with them.

U. Paige, South Australia

I wanted slim orthotics for a pair of narrow shoes. I tried several orthotics. Once inside the shoe they all added volume thus reducing space for me feet. These ones are really slim. They do not have much padding, but do have the firm arch support. When i put on my shoe, i make sure that the orthotic is at the very end (touching the heel) and then it stays there throughout.

W. Wayt, New Jersey says

I've used 3 other brands of 3/4 length dress shoe supports and these are the best by far. I bought them to wear in some sparkly dress sandals for a wedding. The inserts cost more than the shoes but there was no way i could have survived without decent arch support. . My advice: get some stick-on velcro circles or use double stick foam tapwe because these won't stay in place without it, even in closed toe/back shoes.

C. Smith, Basse-Normandie

I absolutely love these. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to superfeet's insoles for flats and heels. Don't get my wrong, i'm a huge superfeet fan and always will be. It's just a shame to buy $50 insoles for shoes you only wear twice a month or so. They fit so well in my heeled booties, flats, and heeled boots. I have very flat feet and previously felt like i had to switch shoes halfway through the day when wearing flat. These are a life saver!

R. Imelda, Saarland says

So far so good. It provides excellent arch support without being uncomfortably stiff. If they last i highly recommend them if you have the tendency, like me, of walking with one or both feet diverging, which can cause external tendonitis of the knee.

X. Delgado, Redcar and Cleveland

This product is amazing. It fit perfectly. It does no cause any unconfort and help you feet a lot in many different ways. Help with your back pai too since you feel more confortable and confident. I tried many different producta and expent a lot of money trying to find a product that is confortable, has good quality, and long last and i tried this one two years ago and it was the perfect solution. Do not heaitate in get it because it will help you a lot.

E. Whiteman, Newcastle upon Tyne says

My old custom orthotics were slim like these over-the-counter ones and fit in most any shoe. I had new custom ones made recently and they are huge, far to wide for most any shoe but trainers. Not wanting to spend yet another $250, i thought i'd give these a try since they have such a slim profile and are a reasonable price. They are great! they fit in any of my shoes without filling them in too much and making the shoe slip. They stay in place (with no adhesive needed) and offer just the right amount of arch - probably a bit lower, not an exaggerated "hump" as some brands. I've only worn them twice for several hours so i cannot comment on whether the blue lining on top is going to come unattached as some reviews mentioned. For me, i like them well enough that i've ordered another pair so i don't have to move them from shoe-to-shoe so often. Great product so far . . .

H. Taylor, Ohio

I wear child sized uggs. If you are female and wear shoe size 8 or smaller, you can by child sized uggs and save money. The ugg insoles in the child sizes do not provide any arch support and i have not figured out how to remove them. This is why i bought these insoles. They have a low enough profile that i can fit them into my uggs. I wear them almost every day because they are so comfortable and they provide arch support. They do have a tendency to slide when i initially put my foot in if i am wearing thin socks. There is no problem with slippage with thicker socks. I would recommend these insoles to any ugg owner.

. Pamela, Bremen says

These were recommended by my podiatrist. You aren't here to read about my plantar faciitis problems, but these are definitely a big help. At first usage, you will probably notice them in your shoes. I was worried i was going to have that "walking on a dowel" feel in my arches. After a couple of hours of these supports taking the pressure off my plantar fascia ligament, it just began to feel comfortable. Now i find shoes uncomfortable without these inserts and my heel and ankle pain is 85-90% improved (almost gone). I haven't had any issues with quality of the materials. I would maybe like a little more anti-slip, but i've become adept at slip-on shoes and keeping these in place. I find the 3/4 length very convenient as they provide the support while fitting easily into any shoe i own. I was told that custom orthotics are about $350 and last 4-5. The doctor said to replace these about every 6 months, which is about $80/yr. That makes the cost of these about the same as the custom orthotics. For me, there's no point in the custom route, but i understand your needs may be different than mine my only wish - make some kind of a slipper sock with these inserts attached. I hate wearing shoes inside, but life is just more comfortable with the inserts.

. Suzanne, Franche-Comte

Ahh relief! i have expensive orthopedics in my sneakers that i hate changing between shoes, so these were a good fit for my other shoes. Could use a bit more arch support, but these are certainly better than the soft dr. Scholls ones that are just squishy and feel good for the first 10 minutes. These seem to be holding up and really help my .

J. Valdez, Alabama says

Great price! good quality. Bought several pairs so i can just leave them in my shoes. Have had them for a month or more. The shape is good and they are supportive. They have a slightly higher arch in them than some others i've purchased, but they are flexible and so have worked out well and without any issues. Normal width and length for my shoe size. A few reviews stated that the blue fabric cushion was a problem, but i have not found this to be an issue for me, and i do a lot of outside work and my feet/shoes get soaked with sweat in the summer. So. At this point, i'm not sure what they meant. The actual plastic is wafer thin, and then the pad on top is a bit thicker with added thickness in the arch and heel area.

A. Alma, Nottinghamshire says

These are by far and away the best orthotics i've ever used. I have a morton's neuroma on one foot which i have virtually forgotten about since getting these years ago. I wear mostly flat shoes but these also work with the limited pairs of low heels i occasionally wear. Some reviewers commented negatively in regard to some issues they've had and i've had a learning curve with mine but with a little care, i literally get years out a pair and am only replacing them because i've worn through the blue lining. The black foam cushion extends a little beyond the white plastic support. When taking off my shoe i've learned to loosen the laces enough so i can lift my arch far enough away from the orthotic to not drag and catch my sock the foam edge near the ball of my foot. Over time, my shoe bed molds shape and this becomes less of a problem even if i end up eventually cracking that part of the foam lining. The grip pads on the bottom will shift over time and i just re-stick them in place although at some point i tear them off as my shoes acquire a permanent indent locking them in place. I'm hard on them. I live in them. I love them.

G. Florence, Darlington

Today is the first full day i've worn these insoles in some little boat shoes. My regular orthotic was too thick and made my heel flip out of the shoes with every step. This insole is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. It's shallow enough that my heel doesn't slip out of the shoe when i walk, and it has fantastic arch support, which i absolutely have to have. Great cushioning, very comfortable. For reference, my foot is a 10. 5 in most women's shoes, and the men's 9-9. 5 / women's 11-11. 5 fits perfectly. The next size down was way too small. To prevent heel slippage, i also recommend the little no show sock liners (i prefer the david archy brand).

. Anonymous, Suffolk says

I love that these fit in my dress shoes! my podiatrist instructed me to wear the full-size powerstep insoles in my tennis shoes, but i really wanted to wear my dress shoes to work. I took a chance ordering these and i was so glad i did! i can wear these inside boots, pumps, flats, you name it. Wonderful solution if you have plantar fascia or nerve pain but you want to wear something other than tennis shoes.

Q. Erin, Southwark

When i discovered these have hard plastic base and significant arc elevation, i was scared they would hurt me. I have very picky feet with pain for over 25 years. These work great in 2 out if 3 pairs of boots i tried them. I hope once my feet get used to being in normal shape, i will be able to use them in most shoes. I am ordering at least one more for now so i don't have to change them all the time. Worth every penny!

I. Guest, Nova Scotia says

These were much better than i expected. I purchased them for a spare set of shoes i keep at the family cabin. I have been wearing custom orthotics for years and sometimes forget to pack them. I can hardly tell the difference between these and my custom orthotics which cost many times the price. I would recommend them for anyone looking for orthotics for running, cycling, skiing or outdoor sports.

N. Cindy, Bolton

I replaced dr. Scholl's kiosk 430 insoles with these, after my plantar fasciitis flared up and refused to back down. I chose the 3/4 size, so that i could use them in all my shoes, without trimming them up, and have been wearing them every day. . After wearing them for the first day i noticed an improvement in my foot pain, and now after about a week, my pain has diminished more than i thought possible. My heels are now mildly painful when i first get up in the morning, and they stop hurting altogether after taking a few steps. These insoles are definitely the right tool for the job of alleviating inflammation from plantar fascitis. . These are more rigid, and not spongey like the ds's - i suspect the ds insoles break down quickly and stop working. These will probably continue to provide support for a lot longer.

K. Sally, Languedoc-Roussillon says

If you have high arches or are just on your feet all day, these insoles really help support your feet. I wear them in boots, tennis shoes, and loafers. I have tried several other products including dr. Scholl's, . And spenco. When i bought my first pair, i thought they wouldn't work because they are hard on the bottom. And have very little cushion on top. But boy was i wrong. They have been a foot saver!

D. Valencia, Alberta

My podiatrist recommended this to me, to wear in flat shoes without taking out any insoles that might be removable. So far i've worn them in 3 very different pairs of flat shoes for a full day in each pair. They have been very comfortable. I thought they might cause pain because most shoes with arch supports cause pain. To my surprise, the arch support of these inserts is not painful. They also don't slip forward. One drawback is that they raise the feet considerably, so in some shoes i am not able to wear them. They squish my feet too much against the top of such shoes. . Ok, time for an update after a few weeks of wear: they do slip forward sometimes. Not bad, not often, but occasionally i do have to pull my shoe off and push the this orthotic back into the right position. Also, in sandals that have an enclosed back, these orthotics work just fine, but the blue on top and offwhite underside colors show out the sides, so i wish they were available in a plain brown or black.

F. Mathis, South Gloucestershire says

I have been bothered recently by plantar fasciitis. My wife has had this in the past and "diagnosed" my symptoms as identical with hers. She had been to a podiatrist in the past for her symptoms and among other things had purchased "powerstep pro" inserts from him. I have seen an immediate and consistent relief since beginning to use these in my shoes, as well as the full length ones in my slippers. Highly recommended.

Disadvantage and Critical reviews

K. Morgan, Kentucky says

I don't know if the product is wrongly sized or simply doesn't fit my foot. But the arch hit me way too far back, toward my heel, thus was not viable at all.

T. Guest, Poole

Arch area are find, but the heel area is not wide enough to stay in. I can feel the edge. Don't buy it.

U. Gina, Luton says

Purchased 3/4 version on september 14, 2017 and already falling apart. Contacting manufacturer too find out warranty on this item. . Update: manufacturer (customer service phone: 888-237-3668) is sending me a no charge replacement as of 12/11, so we'll see how those last.

S. Matherly, Missouri

These fit well, are thin enough to fit in my dress shoes & boots and are sturdier than the grocery store brands. But, they have more flex than i would like. Overall, they're much better than no arch support, a little better than grocery store brands, and not nearly good enough for every-day wear. Not a good bang-for-your-buck. Save your money and get a pair that will hold your arch up over the long term.

P. Cindy, Liverpool says

Had a great start with these inserts, but last night they took a turn for the worse. The bottom pulled away from the top on both inserts in the same exact place.

B. Guest, Bourgogne

I get better arch support from walgreen's six dollar insoles plus after three days my feet sweat enough to make a blister between my toes in spite of wearing moisture wicking socks.

Y. Helen, Gateshead says

These don't do a lot. I have the full size ones that i love and thought these would work in my shoes that are too small for the larger ones. I find that my heels come out of my shoes now and the insoles don't stay put

M. Newell, Montana

These look used! . Opened my package and the box was open! the heels of the inserts already look worn! . . Very disappointed. I will update if the seller contacts me.

J. Widmer, City of London says

These would be great insoles but they fell apart less than a month after buying them. Conveniently right after the window of when i could return or exchange them. The fabric on the top of the insole lost it's bond and is now just hanging loose making me question if they are really powerstep or just knock-offs/counterfeit.

W. Guest, Blackpool

I have several powerstep pinnacle full length inserts which work very well in all my shoes. Because of this positive experience, i ordered this 3/4 lenght for my casual loafer size 9 regular. I ordered size 9, which was said to be correct for 9-9. 5 size shoes. However, the insert is actually too narrow for the shoe, and the non-slip pad on the bottom does not work, so the insert has nothing to hold it in place. I have had to return .

X. Cageen, Maine says

I have flat feet and i was really excited about receiving these because of all the good reviews. The mold of the orthotic feels great, but the blue cushion is super cheap. My first observation was the blue cushion was hastily cut around the heel and was overlapping the orthotic unevenly throughout. That didn't really bother me until literally the second day of use the blue cushion started coming off. (first picture). After a week it was so uncomfortable from it folding under my foot that i just pulled the rest of it off and then i noticed the black liner underneath was barely glued at the front and at the arch, with it bubbling in the middle, so that too came right off. (see second picture i just took). Well looks like i wasted my money and i should have bought the expensive ones to begin with. Going to throw these away because i can't return them in the condition that appears to be 5 years of heavy use, which is in reality only a week of light use.

V. Nicole, Nord-Pas-de-Calais

Because there is no cup for the heel, these slide all over the place. Super frustrating and renders them pretty useless.

L. Anderson, Hawaii says

I wear a size 12 shoe, put these in my bowling shoes and have noticed after bowling the upper part of my feet would hurt , at first i didnt think it was the insoles but after removing one side i know it has to be the insoles. The insoles made the fit of my shoes more comfortable but after the fact the pain was bad. I will go and get custom made insoles and see if the pain comes back. For me this was not a good purchase

O. Walsh, Australian Capital Territory

I bought these for my husband. He has to stand on hard flooring all day at work. He had to take them off as he said that they ere too hard and painful.

Q. Harrison, Newfoundland and Labrador says

The fit was good, but they don't grip under then, so they slide around. They also feel like walking around on hard surface, because there is no padding.

D. Guest, Slough

This arch support did not give me the stability i was hoping for. It seems the arch is a little too high and makes my foot slide to the outer edge of my shoe. Also it is not as firm as i would like, a little on the "cushy" side.

. Nancy, Nebraska says

Product seems to work as described but it just wasn't perfect for me, i was forced to make a return. It just shifts a little too much in my shoe and the unflexible arch makes it a bit difficult for me, and makes the shoe more snug than it needs to be.

A. Cathy, Michigan

It does not sit correct inside the shoe and keeps moving forward during walking. It is not doing what is promised to do by the listing description or perhaps is cheaply made or fake item.

Z. Anonymous, Corse says

For someone with moderate to high arches forget it. Someone needing just a little support probably ok. My left foot arch is so high only my heel and the ball of foot touch down and the right foot is a little lower. Checked the return box and filled out info requested but no luck on return

F. Gladys, Bury

These fit well in most of my shoes and provide good arch support, but they don't stay put in any shoe so far. I have to try to get it "seated" before i put my shoe on, which is a pain. I'm not sure why you can't stick them to the sole of your shoe but it definitely detracts from the product in my opinion. I have used these in slip on loafers, and a pair of skechers slip-on tennis shoes.

. Monique, Merton says

This seems more for people with heel issues than for those with arch support needs. Not enough support at all. Designed for normal arched feet-not the actual audience that needs arch supports.

G. Elida, Reading

I can't believe they sell this product. It started coming apart on the front edge like you see in many other reviews, after a couple of weeks of use. I've had the "pro" version of this insole before and that one lasted for a few years. I thought this version would be great also

I. Valencia, Cumbria says

I used these in my hiking shoes. They only lasted 7 or 8 hikes, or maybe 12 hours. These $50 ones i get f ok my podiatrist last almost a year. You get what you pay for.

. Parker, Plymouth

I have moderately low arches. Nothing dramatic. These inserts do not even begin to resemble arch supports. I would return them, but the window closed. All i can do now is wish that i had purchased a more adequate support. They are barely above worthless. Do not buy these if you have a need for supportive arch therapy.

H. Brendon, Stoke-on-Trent says

They are way too narrow for the size they were advertized for.

. Finch, Greenwich

The only other orthotic i've worn until now is the spenco size 3 so my review is from that perspective. I was looking for something harder/less flexible and thought this might be it. . I ordered the b and was surprised at how small it was. It's about an 1. 5"-2" shorter than the spenco and, aside from the heel, about . 25"-. 5" thinner. Oddly enough, the heel was about the same and they fit just fine. It made me wonder if the spenco was unnecessarily bulky. . I walk at least seven miles a day and the grey grippy things under the heel lost their adhesion after about two weeks so i just left them off. Unfortunately, they are not harder than the spencos, just about the same, so my search continues. After a month of everyday wear they are in good shape. The cushion is slightly less than spenco. . So in conclusion, other than being smaller and more expensive than spenco they are the same. My advice is; for sneakers, boots and bulky shoes, use spenco. For heels, flats and smaller shoes, go with slimtech.

E. Alba, Rhone-Alpes says

I have very high arches and was in search of some back-up orthotics to my custom ones. The powerstep did not do a thing for me. The semi-rigid arch on these might work for people who don't actually need arch support. The arches easily flattened out under partial weight bearing. I found them to be no more than a thin pad in my shoes. Returning them.
