This is my second pair. The first pair was prescribed to me by my podiatrist before my bunion surgery. I have continued to use them in post surgery phase. For all new users you need to allow your feet to get used to being reshaped on how you walk and run. Ever notice when you buy a pair of running shoes or any shoes you are paying $80-150/pair or more, the insole in the shoes are worth about $0. 50 ? well the mfg wont give you quality insoles in cheaper or more expensive shoes because they know that quality insoles will increase the life to the shoe since you will likely wear them properly and not buy more pairs of shoes. Try these out. Don't stack the insoles as many tend to do, if the old ones are glued in , work them out ot replace them with these. Give them a little time to get your arches get use to them and you will probably never look back. Your calves and heels may cry a little in the beginning since you are shifting the "footprint" of your step which will transfer the changes in your joints and muscle up your ankles and calves and maybe even knees. It is ok, as you have even using those muscles and joints to compensate for poor walking habits anyways and they are just thanking you. Powerstep original full length orthotic shoe insoles Review (5001 01d)

I had given up on writing reviews because so many products had proven so poor. I had read many reviews here and elsewhere about these insoles, and with mounting pain from plantar fasciitis and heel spurs, i thought i'd give these a try. Having worn them all day today i'm not 100% pain-free, but i'm 95-97% pain free, and i've walked and stood longer today than i have in over a year. These work far better than the $600 orthotics my last podiatrist prescribed, which provided virtually no relief at all. How these insoles work as well as they do with as little padding as they have is a mystery, but as long as they work, i don't care how. I'll keep using and buying them. -. Carolyn

Powerstep Original Length Orthotic Insoles Shoes

  • Tightness/pain in my left "posterior tibial tendon" from running with a slight roll towards the inside of my foot-this solved the problem right away and besides the first run i haven't even noticed the difference. It's slightly thicker than what i'd expect most running soles are, but i actually like that my shoe fits more snugly.
  • Powerstep original full length orthotic shoe insoles. I recently purchased these shoe insoles and they have been amazing. I partially tore my achilles tendon over the summer and was in extreme pain and discomfort whenever i would stand or walk. I was instructed by my doctor to only wear tennis shoes and try to remain seated for as long as possible. In the summer with a job at a golf course, the tennis shoes task was easy to accomplish but being a bartender and pool attendee, it was very difficult, if not impossible, to stay off my feet. I prolonged my recovery process by months from continuing to work. Once classes started i was walking even more, darting around a large campus to reach my classes on time. Now with a part time job in real estate, i can t wear tennis shoes daily. I refused to buy shoe insoles at first because i almost felt like an old person by needing them. I was a broke college kid so i refused to quit my job and struggled for months with increased swelling on my achilles and even more discomfort from my activity level. It was hard for me to even find time to rest and ice to find comfort until it was time to go to bed. My mother actually had gotten bone spurs during this time and was in extreme pain as well. Her doctor removed her spurs and instructed her to only wear tennis shoes during her recovery time and to stay comfortable. He started to wean her back into her daily activities by doing half the time wearing tennis shoes and the other half her regular nice shoes with these insoles and her life changed! . I was then convinced that i needed these to monitor my pain, so i started to research and was pleasantly surprised at the cost of these insoles. I was impatiently waiting for these insoles to arrive at my door because i was so excited to try them out. I first put the insoles in my extremely uncomfortable black booties. When i first slipped my foot into the boot i felt so much relief. These boots typically feel like i am stepping on cheap wood constantly and now it felt like a magical gummy bear was under my soles and i was floating on clouds. I wore these same shoes for about 4 hours, walking around downtown, dancing, and standing constantly. I was so happy with these insoles because it felt like i was wearing tennis shoes the whole time! when i got home i did not feel the need to rip off my shoes and soak them in an ice bath, but to simply go to bed like a normal person! . The only drawbacks that i have found of these insoles are that they do not work with all types of shoes. I have a few pointed toe shoes that they don t fit perfectly into, unless i were to cut the insoles and leave them for that specific shoe. My feet are also an in-between size, so depending on the brand, my shoe size differs. Because of this, my insoles might not fit perfectly into each shoe. Considering the price and the relief i feel, i don t have any other complaints. Since wearing these powerstep original full length orthotic shoe insoles, i have decreased pain and swelling in my achilles. I would recommend these to any person who have any foot or leg issue or people who put style before comfort in their footwear.
  • These are okay, but they didn't help nearly as much as i'd hoped. I later had to get a different kind of orthotic for my plantar facsciitis. The fit though was perfect, they didn't have to be trimmed at all.
  • These were too large for me but i used them anyway and they made my feet hurt. This was not the fault of theitem but of me ordering the wrong size. I have another smaller size that works better and it only covered 1/3 of the sole of my foot.
  • I have a high arch. The bubble the forms your arch is way too big. The pressure on my foot is too much to bare. I tried it in my hockey skates because the flat boot hurts my foot. However, the big bubble for the arch was a different kind of pain that i couldn't handle. I have in my my rain boot and it's okay. It's sturdy and not a cheap flimsy one. But still has good amount of cushion.

These might not be quite as good as the super expensive ones, but they work just fine for me. I hate sneakers but have been having lots of muscle issues with my calf, and my arches have fallen drastically since my dancing days. These are affordable for me to have multiple pairs for all of the shoes i need to wear to work for 9 hours/day. Would definitely recommend trying them before spending much more on other brands. They might be just what you're looking for.

Sof Sole Athlete Full Length Comfort Neutral Arch Replacement Shoe Insole/Insert

As soon as i open my addidas tennis shoes, i replace the flimsy insert with these sof sole athletic full length natural arch insoles. I wear a 9 ladies shoe and only had to trim the edges slightly for a custom fit. These make a big difference in the feel of the addidas and highly recommend them to all.

The sof sole athlete is the preferred insole for anyone looking to improve the performance and comfort of their footwear. Neutral arch contoured design is suitable for all users, while light-weight cushioning and gel drops in the heel and forefoot offer comfort and performance without the bulk.

Sof Sole Athlete Comfort Replacement (e3kqx 5500) FAQ.

Pros: adds additional life into well worn shoes, improves uncomfortable footwear, easy to use, can be trimmed to fit, held up well to wear and tear. Cons: did not work on one pair of shoes that i had because the toe-box was not tall enough to accommodate both my toes and the sole. . These insoles can work well, but make sure you check to see that your shoes have enough space to vertically fit them. The length and width can be adjusted by trimming, but there is not much to do to fix the height if that does not work. -Notice from B. Sherry, Thueringen

I bought a pair of these for myself and my son. Mine fit perfectly! my size is a 7. 5 women's shoe and really add that extra arch support i need. I added these to my new asics running shoes since i'm having a hard time finding sneakers that have higher arches these days. I slipped the current insert out since these are fairly "tall" and i can't fit into my shoe with both inserts in at the same time. They offer a good amount of overall support, but mostly the arch support is what i needed. They're perfect for that! my son used his for his soccer cleats. He's a men's size 11-12 and the pair he got fit the size as stated. I'll get a few more of these for our family and even may consider buying these as gifts since they make a huge difference in any sneaker you wear regularly. *not sure how these fit people with flatter feet? i can only speak for our family who has the higher arches.

- M. PalmerGreat support after a planter fascia rupture. Around 1/4" thick, soft, and long lasting. They are thick so if your shoes are already tight around the laces with factory inserts, a thinner insert would be the way to go. But if not get these! no trouble in boots or athletic shoes for me

I bought my first set at a retail store 3 years ago and the top fabric is finally coming off so i ordered a new one and the quality is actually improved in the new design. They feel great with a lot of support and fit into all of my shoes without trimming.

Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx Full Length Orthotic Shoe Insoles

I have flat feet and fairly severe overpronation. My job involves being on my feet on a hard floor for 8-12 hours and for several months i've had pretty much constant soreness in my feet and legs. After a week of using these insoles the soreness is mostly gone and they're pretty comfortable. My only complaints are that a bit more cushioning/shock absorption would be nice, and they run a bit small. I wear size 13 shoes and ordered the size 12-13. 5 insoles. Tried 2 pairs of insoles in 2 pairs of shoes and with both pairs the right insole fits almost perfectly, but the left ones are both slightly too short. I can sometimes feel the edge of the insole under my big toe. Not a big deal but slightly annoying sometimes. When it comes time to replace them i'm ordering the size 14-14. 5.

Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx Full Length Orthotic Shoe Insoles (5015 01e) FAQ.

I have high arches and plantar fasciitis and needed good orthotic inserts so that i could exercise comfortably. I bought these inserts due to others' good reviews, and i have had a good experience with these inserts. I use them in brooks sneakers. This combination has helped me walk and work out with much less discomfort. I would recommend this product. -Notice from . Erin, Salford

Used the left one only. I had some relief from my plantar fasciitis within 2 days. This lasted until i took an overly long walk and restarted the left foot pain. Still, i have some confidence that the extra arch support will alleviate the problem over time.

Powerstep-pinnacle-maxx-full-length-orthotic-shoe-insoles-(5015-01e) set picture

- A. CampbellVery good arch support. This makes for a more stable walking pattern and should help with a bunion caused by shoes without enough arch support. Would give a 5 but feel these could have a little more padding for comfort. I hope they hold up, and will update this review.

Finally, an insole with enough arch support! i naturally have pretty flat feet, but that's resulted in a very annoying case of plantar fasciitis. This is the only insole i've found so far currently on the market that actually has enough arch built in to fit my foot well. I'm glad my dad suggested the brand!

The F.A.Q. for Powerstep Original Full Length Orthotic Shoe Insoles (5001 01d)

I used these to add some life to a pair of shoes that was still in fairly decent shape except for the insert. I wear my inserts out a lot of times before wearing the shoe out and i will be able to re-use these in several different shoes. Feels great on the feet in terms of support. Would buy again and recommend you get them if you are in a similar circumstance.

These are great if you hav orthotics like me and get tired of transferring zthem from one pair of shoes to the other. They obviously don't replace orthotics, but for short periods (like a golf game) they are perfect.

Best powerstep original full length orthotic shoe insoles (5001 01d) in review

I've purchased many pairs of these (about 7) and they work out perfectly for my athletic shoes. I need the arch support and find these to be sufficient. They also seem to last a long time. I think the longest i've used a pair is 2 years. They may last longer than that, but i like to get new ones after awhile.

I am 33 and have been having join pain since i saw young. I saw a physical therapist and she said i needed arch support for my knees. I purchased a few different pairs. These seem to be best worn with tennis shoes or other roomy shoes. These would not fit in any of my shoes that fit more tightly around my feet. . I found these gave me the proper arch support that i need, however they are not comfortable when worn for more than a could hours. They are very firm and they start to hurt my arch when worn for a long time. Not because they are lifting my arch the way they are supposed to but because they are too hard. . I personally shop on online store a lot, and i sometime rely on theses review to help me decide if i should purchase something. I hope you find my review helpful, if you did, please help me out by clicking the "yes" button below.

N. Paige, St. Helens

I am a nurse and suffer from plantar fasciitis. I love these! i slip them into whatever shoes i am wearing that day and my feet feel pain free all day. I am planning on getting another pair.

H. Watson, Delaware says

I have been purchasing powersteps for years and delighted to find them at online store, as the only shoe store remaining in our area that sells them has relocated further away, making it very inconvenient to patronize. I use them in all my athletic shoes (walking, aerobics, golf) and find the shoe fits much better and my feet are more comfortable, removing the insole that comes with the shoe and replacing them with these. My size is 6. 5 w and the recommended powerstep size fits perfectly.

K. Brendon, East Sussex

I was recently diagnosed with a foot neuroma and my podiatrist recommended this brand for its quality and cost. I have felt a noticeable alleviation in pain since using these insoles, though i was given a shot by my doctor right before i bought the insoles so that may be a confounding factor. . But, the insoles seem good and i've really enjoyed them. Buying a second pair.

A. Hadley, City of London says

I bought these for a pair of boots that i also purchased from online store. In the reviews for the boots, it advised that the boots didn't have very much support and recommended an inside support shoe pad. I bought these for the boots, sight unseen. The boots, although comfortable with the insole, were very uncomfortable without the added support. With these shoe supports the boot is very comfortable. I would definitely buy again

. Sharon, Saarland

The orthopedic doctor that my mom frequent to has recommended this sole to her to help support her arthritis. She has been using it for 2 weeks and seen an improvement. It really comfortable and helps her to cope with her tired feet and help her for prolonged standing and walking. It's a great product with reasonable price.

X. Evelyn, Swindon says

I replaced a very old pair of insoles with these. I looked at many options before choosing these. I rely alot on reviews to help me decide. . These were comfortable right out of the box! . They recommend wearing for a short time to get used to them, i only did that for the first day. . They gave immediate but temporary relief of the heel pain i was having. I had to stop my regular walks for awhile to heal my heel pain. I wear these everyday in my walking shoes and finally my heel pain has improved and i can walk regularly again. . I highly recommend!

V. Gloria, Hessen

These have a lot more arch support than other insoles i've seen and that might be too much for some people. But for me, they worked better than any others i've tried, including some $50 superfeet. My judgement is based solely on how my feet feel the morning after a day that i walk or stand a lot.

B. Aldana, Blackburn with Darwen says

I have been bothered with plantar fasciitis for several months. My wife had been several years ago, and a foot doctor recommended and sold her the powerstep insoles. She told me i ought to try them. I use these full length ones in my slippers (3/4 length in my regular shoes and work boots). I am very pleased with them. They do not take away the plantar fasciitis, but definitely minimize and give relief to the pain.

Y. Rowe, New Hampshire

I have a pair of these in all my shoes including my slippers. I used to have pretty severe hip pains and my podiatrist ordered custom orthotics that cost hundreds of dollars. They work just fine and they took care of my hip pain but i couldn't stand taking the orthotics in and out of my shoes. I ordered the reasonably priced powerstep orthotics and they work just fine so i put a pair in each of my other shoes so i don't have to swap them around. Give a pair of these a whirl. Not much to lose and they might work perfectly for you.

R. Peggy, Newham says

These give me the proper fit/support i need. I've tried the super feet brand, buy they are just too flat, and the arch support is oddly placed. Powerstep works for me, but everyone has a different foot, so try them out before you go with them. Either product will be an improvement over the thin, cheap insoles in typical shoes.

W. Kelly, Haute-Normandie says

Anytime i buy something, i always read the reviews before purchasing the item and this was no exception. Everything i read about these insoles were 100% correct. I read that you have to break them in and it is going to hurt for a little while until you do and they were so right. I already had pain in my feet from plantar fasciitis, so it was difficult to not want to throw them back in the box and send back. If it wasn't for the reviews and giving them a chance because of them, i would have sent them back immediately. Instead i chose to listen and gave them time, even with the pain they caused until my feet got used to them. It took about or less then a week and i was pain free. I cannot stress how difficult it was for me to walk and now i have no pain. I can now stand all day at work and not have to cringe every time i walk. . Another commenter also said that these would be a sure fit or you might have to cut just a tad bit, but not much to fit in the shoe. They were right about this also, i did not have to cut the insole at all. I ordered the 7. 5-8 and it fit perfectly in 3 of my jogging shoes. No cutting and no fuss, just insert into the shoe and go (aside from getting used to them). . So, if you have pain on the bottom of you feet and/or your ankle, i highly recommend getting these because they are worth it. I could not be happier with these because they took my pain away. I am so grateful to those who commented on these and got me to buy them. Thank you and powerstep for saving my feet and taking my pain away. . Update: bought a pair for my husband and he loves them. Stopped his knee pain :)

. Josephine, Delaware

These insoles were recommended by my podiatrist. They wanted me to purchase in office for 48 bucks. I knew my insurance wouldn't cover it, so i embarked on searching for the best price. These insoles were a great deal price wise. The structure of the design is very sold. These do not give at the arch. Great for helping with plantar fasciitic, immediately had relief. I would recommend these insoles to help keep your feet healthy. I am amazed i haven't found these earlier in life. They are great.

O. Debra, Bayern says

The boyfriend had been complaining about back pains for about half a year. I've tried buying him dr. Scholl's insoles for his dress shoes, but those broke within a few weeks. He did some of his own research and purchased these, and his back pain went away! he had previously dreaded wearing dress shoes, but now puts these insoles in whichever shoe he wears. Definitely lives up to its high user ratings!

I. Nellie, Centre

These are great. I have a low-medial arch that has always caused me a great deal of pain. I've used a lot of arch supports over the years and these are the best. I always use them on my hikes (which are anywhere between 3 and 8 miles long in a day) and in my daily life. My arch does start to hurt a bit toward the end of an 8 mile hike, but without these arch supports, they would hurt after the first mile or two. They are very hard, though, so i could see them potentially rubbing the skin raw if used for a very long duration. They fit my merrell hiking boots perfectly- which is great because i've had a lot of arch supports that don't support quite at the arch, but instead slightly behind the arch or they just slide around.

F. Bertie, Sachsen says

I have plantar fasciitis and before using this product it physically hurt the stand up first thing in the morning from bed. I have been wearing these for the past decade but purchased them from my podiatrist for about $10. 00 more. This is the 4th pair i have purchased from this seller and i am more than pleased with the quick delivery! will remain a loyal customer.

L. Bullock, Newfoundland and Labrador

I love these inserts and have been using them for years. I bought the original pair of these from a professional running store to relieve planters fasciitis. Let me say along with stretching and a little rest they fixed the problem and it did not come back. Later i developed planters fasciitis from wearing non-supportive shoes when not running. These were the solution and i have them in all of my shoes now. They fit right into the shoes. If possible i remove the insert from the shoe but if i cannot these will fit and work overtop of that the powerstep pinnacle maxx i tried were too big for dress shoes and regular shoes but the powerstep full length orthotic works perfect for all of those shoes. I am using the powerstep pinnacle maxx now in my running shoes but other than in running shoes feel that the original powerstep is better for everyday use.

D. Reed, Rhode Island says

After developing osteo-arthritis pain in my big toes resulting from my yoga practice, i needed stronger arch support as well as decreased pressure on the front part of my feet. These insoles made an instant difference: the dull pain i was feeling is gone. Frankly, i had tried a variety of insoles and other devices with mixed results. These insoles are the best solution i found to date and i bought another pair with probably more to come.

. Suzanne, California

Excellent orthotic for shoes. These were recommended by a podiatrist and said for the price and convenience of use, this was a great insert. Have used them for 5 months now and love them! has really helped my feet as they don't feel so "tired" at the end of a run or workout and has also helped with food and calf pain. So far, they are the best i've ever used at a fraction of the price.

C. Theola, Warwickshire says

I bought these for a trip to edinburgh, scotland where i knew i was going to be walking a lot. My feet used to get sore and tired and i was very uncomfortable walking all day. With these inserts i walked for miles on a daily basis the entire trip with great comfort! i am very happy with these and highly recommend them.

J. Broyles, Quebec

I have 4 pairs of custom orthotics that i use in all my shoes. Because i have more pairs of shoes than orthotics, i'm constantly swapping out the orthotics. To get around that i decided to try out the power pinnacle orthotics and have been very pleased with how well they perform compared to custom orthotics. After a month of use, i have the same comfort with the power pinnacle orthotics as with the custom orthotics. These have performed much better than other brands of off-the-shelf preconfigured orthotics that i've purchased and are a much more economical alternative to custom orthotics.

. Bethany, Havering says

Firm arch support and comfortable as long as they are cut correctly to size. I am a size 8 and i had to cut a little to make it fit right. I didn't realize it was a little too big until i tried walking with them and man i was in pain within 15 minutes soon after. They truly are very good insoles but i would suggest you use one of your old insoles to make absolutely sure they fit properly or you are really going to regret it

S. Gladys, Tennessee

Started a new job recently where i just stand in one place pretty much all day. I'm used to running around a lot in a giant retail store, going from one side of the store to the other all day, so just standing was a rough adjustment for me. These insoles have absolutely saved my feet! i have decently high arches and these feel just wonderful. I do have struggles with fitting them into ballet flats and other shoes that are tight around the top of the foot so be aware of that, but they feel like heaven in boots and looser flats. Highly recommend.

Disadvantage and Critical reviews

Y. Olga, Leeds says

I expected more support seeing as how doctors have recommended these. I'm used to chaco sandals & their support is amazing. Just need something for closed toed shoes. These are good, but not great for us.

M. Taylor, New Jersey

I have been using the powerstep pinnacle for a few years, in mens 11. 5 size. I thought i would try the original version. Please note that the section in the toe area is narrower on the original vs the pinnacle. In most of my shoes (and my shoes are of normal width) my big toe would fall on the edge of the insole, with a gap between it and the edge of the shoe. This is very uncomfortable and caused a small cut when i used them in running shoes. In order not to throw them away, i cut them down to half size, and matched them with the shoes original insert. . Back to the pinnacles

D. Melissa, St. Helens says

Sometimes i do not understand the online store reviews on products. These powerstep orthotic insoles were highly rated by almost eveyone for plantar facia. Well, i tried them in every pair of shoes i own, with and without shoes original liner, with and without plantar sock under my full socks, light socks and heavy socks, nothing felt better. These hurt my plantar foot worse than nothing all, it felt like i had a rock in my shoe. Plus it threw my feet forward so much that my toes were rubbing the front of shoe. I' m glad they work for so many people because this is a painful condition but they did not work for me. Sending back!

A. Barbara, Cornwall

Very painful. Made my feet feel worse, so i replaced these with dr scholls athletic gel. Now my feet feel decent after an 8 hour day of constant walking.

C. Mable, New York says

These were so uncomfortable that i returned them. They seemed a bit large, which caused the arch area to be higher than normal. This would have been fine for my relatively flat feet but the left one was higher than the right one and was like walking on a billiard ball. I've never had this problem with insoles before.

J. Patricia, Rhode Island

I noticed i would have some soreness on the bottom of my feet near my arches so i decided to purchase these to help alleviate the pain and protect my feet from injury. They felt fine for about two weeks in my saucony tennis shoes as i used they during my cardio classes. After two weeks, however, i started feeling the side of the inserts sliding away from the side of my shoes while i was in an exercise class. I thought the irritating feeling would go away but upon removing my shoes and socks, i noticed a blister on the bottom of my pinky toes because the inserts were no longer a snug fit inside my tennis shoes. Thus i stopped wearing them.

. Harrison, Salford says

I ordered two pair. I put them in my size 13 shoes, but they were too short, despite online store description. I developed a blood blister on my big toe on my right foot. I ordered the next size up, 'k', and they worked very well, despite the size listed. I tried to return the too-short first two pairs, but discovered that the return date had just passed for both of them. Very disappointing.

V. Edna, Maryland

These are extremely thin, so there is really no support for your foot-especially if you have plantar fasciitis. Good supports should not bend or sag. You can spend less than this and buy some at a local wal-mart or target in the foot aisle that are equally as "supportive. "

N. Wimbish, Michigan says

The length was as expected. But this wasn't the right support for me. The metatarsal bump especially felt horrible, it was making my feet ache after a few minutes. Doesn't mean that it wouldn't be the right support for other people. Powerstep is a good brand, and if they fit your feet, you'll be happy. If ypu have to buy the arch supports online, without knowing what fits you, buy multiple different arch supports, try them all, and pick whichever feels best.

E. Marguerite, Tennessee

. But don't work in boots. Dress boots or cowboy boots. They simply make the boots too snug, as they don't have laced tops to loosen.

U. Jennifer, Arizona says

I could not tell by picture, but these have a very hard arch glued to them and its too hard, ( the picture doesn't show this) doesn't give, very uncomfortable. I prefer the powerstep pro plus

. Anderson, California

Really great shape. Cradles your entire foot. But not much padding/shock absorption. I'd recommend for a work/dress shoe if you work in an office. I would not recommend for a shoe in which you do a tremendous amount of walking unless your shoe has additional shock absorption.

K. Guest, Connecticut says

These insoles have a good arch support but suffer from a critical flaw, there is no base under the arch! i have only had them for a few days and i know the arch will collapse and eventually provide less and less support. Take a look at a pair of superfeet - support for the arch to prevent collapse. Don't buy these except for short term use

I. Megan, Maine

These insoles are horrible in fit. They are very wide. They only fit in my large snow boots, which i barely wear. I needed them for my tennis shoes. They do not fit any of my other shoes in width. I have a regular width size shoe. The length was correct. I'm giving it a 1 star because they don't take returns or exchanges for this issue i shared. I almost threw them away but fortunately i had my big snow boots. I'm deeply disappointed and feel ripped off.

Q. Adrienne, Auvergne says

I purchased these inserts because i have chronic foot pain associated by flat feet. I have worn the inserts now for 8 weeks. I did not get any relief during this time. I decided to get my foot evaluated and scanned (by my chiropractor). I purchased $300 inserts and experienced profound relief immediately. I would like to find a less expensive option since i know i will get relief with the right insert. The search is on.

O. Imelda, Florida

Without a doubt the worst possible insoles i have ever purchased. I ordered 9-9. 5 men's, as you can see in the picture they are longer than the 10. 5 men's shoe. The tape measure shows the 9-9. 5 insole to be 12. 5" long. The insoles are barely a step above cardboard cutouts. The companies quality either took a nosedive or the good reviews are from biased customers who received the insoles for free for a good review.

W. Gloria, Haute-Normandie says

The insole fit my shoe/work boot perfectly. I get shin splints if i don't get the right insole and with these i got them right away. In my opinion it's just a basic insole. I instead ordered the pinnacle plus and that worked fabulous!

T. Julia, Solihull

They are solid insoles but a little short or narrow or both for me. My big toe feels the edge of each insert so if it was a little wider up there it would've better. I like to walk long distances and i could see that edge causing discomfort after a couple of miles. So far i am only using them it for short distances and standing much of the day (have standup desk). They are well made but i would probably buy a slightly larger pair so that i could have the width i needed and then trim them to fit the shoes using the original inserts i was replacing. Much better than dr shaols

R. Maria, Gateshead says

These inserts do not fit into dress shoes or my sneakers. The arch support is too wide, which makes your foot too tight inside of the shoe. I can't return them so i'm out $45 for two pair of inserts i cannot use.

P. Wayt, Calderdale

Not really impressed with this product. It's ok, but doesn't really offer the best suppport. I guess i was hoping it would be as good as superfeet, which cost more than twice the price of these. You get what you pay for with this product.

. Lorenz, Newham says

I bought these insoles to replace the soles of my gym sneakers which were starting to wear down. They weren't too difficult to insert and didn't have to be trimmed. I was hoping they would be comfortable to run in but they were not. The arch in the insole was raised a little too high and closer towards the inside of my foot. This made it hard to run at times since it would dig in and rub against my foot. At first i thought that they needed to be broken in but after using them for a few weeks they did not improve. Sometimes it even became too painful to run. I wouldn't recommend these for running or athletic activity unless you have a high arch, then maybe they would be more comfortable.

Z. Aldana, Essex

I tried to return this product but i wasn't able to as i have already worn it. I wanted to like these and tried to break them in, and they helped slightly. However, my feet are still sore when the day ends and don't work like i expect them too. It is also not that comfortable walking around in. I wish the seller would do something about it.

F. Colleen, Blackpool says

These seemed like them might be really good, but they were way too wide. I wear a men's size 13 and have a slightly narrow foot, but these things are like e+ width. When i put them inside my running shoes and dress shoes (both normal d width shoes), they actually stretched out the sides of the shoe between the heel and arch. That's not good, so i sent them back.

G. Moore, Ontario

I was excited to get this since my feet were hurting when i walk since i walk a lot. Unfortunately, these insoles were causing pain in my knees, particularly my right knee. I found that i had to stop quite often just because the pain was getting so bad. Didn't experience this pain before wearing these in my sneakers, i don't think i will wear them very often. Looking for a better product.

L. Wanda, Brent says

These are too narrow for a size 11 ee. Additionally, these are very stiff and has a substantial arch that won't help a naturally flat footed person without added pain. They are thin, which is a positive thing given current factory shoes are very tight in the toe-box height. Like is it that people sit 90% of the awake day so they don't have fat muscular toes these days?

B. Ophelia, Stockport

I work in a distribution center, and i m standing in one spot for most of the day. I was having extreme foot pain, and a family member recommended these. They made it three times worse! if i could get my money back, i would. I ended up just buying some dr. Scholls for $14 with much better results.
