Carhartt Men’s Washed Duck Work Dungaree Flannel Lined B111 (b111brn) 898

Review for /carhartt washed dungaree flannel b111

Price was 28. I have found carhartt always fits small in my exp. If you want 32 you might think about 34 or even more if want thermals under them. They always fit tight on me compared to other brands. But i have to say i love these flannel lined work pants, buy them a couple sizes too big, spray them down with some water repellent. Put on a belt, maybe some thermals under if you need them, tough as heck, pockets for everything on a "light job" so you can leave the tool belt in the truck with the rain gear! whats not to love?

  • I like these a lot, but there were a lot of postings about how they ran small because of the lining, so i ordered 33s instead of my usual 32s. Mine were not undersized, and 33s were too big. Both pairs are the same. I have to wear them with a belt, and they are a bit large overall. I've had them through two minnesota winters, and they are warm until it gets down below 10o. I don't work outside, but i do walk everywhere. Not to warm to wear inside though.
  • I received these pants the day before we got 6"-8" of snow. Great timing, online store! the next morning, i geared up in these and my carhartt jacket to plow with the atv. The flannel-lined pants were comfortable and warm, although next time, for the "teen" and below temps, i will probably wear some thermals underneath as well. In the mid-twenties later that day, they were fine. . I was concerned the pants may be stiff like the jacket, but they were great right out of the package. I have little doubt they will wear like iron as all of carhartt's duck fabric does, as well. . One note: as others have stated, these tend to run long. About an inch in my experience here. I also ordered one inch larger in the waist than my jean size, as i figured on tucking in heavier shirts and occasionally adding thermal pants underneath. Was it not for this, i could probably gone with my normal size. . Overall, i'm very satisfied with the purchase, and look forward to putting them to good use. . Edit 5/29/2014. After wearing these pants for a season to do everything from plowing on the atv to working in the garage to splitting firewood out back, these pants have held up great, reinforcing my review above. On the sizing, i wish i had gone with my normal waist size, since with my arctic-lined carhartt jacket, i don't wear anything more than a long-sleeve tee or light waffle thermal underneath. This being the case, i have to snug my belt to keep the pants up causing the waist to pucker up a bit to take up the slack. The extra inch of length is not a problem when wearing my lacrosse boots, but i need to cuff them up for wear with hikers or work boots.
  • Purchased because flannel lined for colder weather. Husband thought the flannel used in comparison to previous purchases of the same pants was a light weight. Fit was as expected.
  • Width of legs were like clown pants
  • I got these for my brother for christmas. He said they fit in the waist but the legs are ridiculously wide. One leg was almost as wide as the waist. It says on the label that these are "loose-fit. " this is not listed anywhere in the description. Quality was great.

The length on these pants was a little longer than i expected. I usually wear 30wx32l pants (in dickies, etc) and so i ordered the same size for these. The waist line is as expected however the length is much more. I have three pairs of these pants (two i ordered in 30wx30l afterwards), and i simply roll up the bottom cuffs of the legs about two inches and i'm fine. These pants are insanely warm and insanely useful. I usually wear a hammer loop/holster combo on my belt, and with these pants i don't need it at all. Same goes for wearing a pair of pajamas underneath my dickies, in the cold. Don't need them with these! . . They've got dual knife/pencil pockets on the right leg, and on the left there's a (strong) cloth hammer loop and another knife-style pocket. Simply awesome.

I've been wearing carhartt for over 10 years. Every time i try to cheap out i end up frustrated. These pants are great. They take a few wears to break in, but after that they last for a long time. The fastest i've ever worn holes into these pants was 18 months, if you kneel a lot opt for the double fronts.

Carhartt Men's Double Front Work Dungaree Washed Duck B136

My husband says these are a smidgen looser in the leg and waist than is ideal, but he says without trying them on before buying that's not unusual. The length is perfect and since he's very tall, i took a chance & ordered online to avoid driving around to stores. He'said keeping them since they are fine, just a bit looser than some of the same brand that he has. He'll wear a belt, and maybe they'll shrink up a bit in the waist.

Built for long wear with chap-style leg panels, carhartt's double-front work dungaree also features double knees with cleanout bottoms that accommodate knee pads, constructed of heavyweight 12-ounce, 100 percent ring-spun cotton duck, the dungaree sits at the natural waist and is cut with a full seat and thigh, it includes multiple tool and utility pockets, plus a hammer loop, leg openings measure 19-inches to fit over work boots

- M. PeggyGreat work pants that hold up but aren't stiff and uncomfortable. I'll be getting a couple other pairs for the week.

You cant beat carhartt! weirdly enough, these pants are a little wider in the legs than any other pair i have ever owned, but this may be due to the fact that i am now wearing a 34 waist instead of 30. The scale-up is wider in the legs quicker than at the waist, but the length and the waist is perfect.

- . PaulaWore them for about a week now, working in a high volume kitchen. For the most part, they're a great pair of work pants so far, the cell phone pocket is a very nice addition seeing as i need to be in touch with a lot of people throughout the day. Hammer loops aren't necessary so i ended up cutting those off to reduce the risk of them getting caught on anything in the kitchen. Only gripe i have is that they do run a little larger, used my levi 501 size and these feel really baggy and i have to roll the legs up a bit. But it's not a major detriment to the pants. I'll probably be buying a couple more pairs, just a size smaller then normal.

Great pant for casual dress work and play. The hammer handle is fairly understated so they look nice and wear well.

Carhartt Men's Double Front Duck Utility Work Dungaree Pant B01

I just got these pants for work and they feel like they will be very durable. The double fronts should add another layer of protection. One thing to note is that the double front is held on by rivets and the rivets get cold when outside and you can feel the rivets against your leg. Not a big deal but it might bother some. . As far as sizing goes, i usually wear a 38 or 40" waist and a 34" inseam. I ordered these in a 40" waist and 34" inseam. The waist fit comfortably but the length was miles longer than what i expected. I would guess these are more like a 36 or even 38" inseam. I have to roll the pants up to get them to the length i want. I am not sure if they were made improperly (the tag states the correct size) or if they just run long like this, but i would order a shorter inseam next go around.

When your 9-to-5 is crawling on roofs, pounding nails into floors, or putting rebar into cement, you need a double-front dungaree that can take a beating and get up for more. Proudly made in the usa. 12-ounce, firm-hand, 100 percent ring-spun cotton duck, full seat and thigh for easy movement, double front with cleanout openings that accommodate knee pads, multiple tool and utility pockets for convenience, left-leg hammer loop, heavy-hauling reinforced back pockets.

They're carhartt work pants, if you are buying these you know what you are getting. They are great. The only reason i'm commenting is to say that they do run long! compared to levi's very long. These are the best work pants i've ever owned. I had two pair that lasted 8 years. I received a pair for christmas one year ago and bought three more pairs because they are so durable. They stand up to any abuse i put at them. The double knee is an added layer of durability. The fit is good and somewhat roomy. I am move around a lot at work, climbing, up and down on the floor, constant kneeling, and a lot of walking. These handle it all and are comfortable in all situations. I will be a carhartt customer for life. Great service from online store as well.

- K. CunninghamThese pants are truly amazing. They are tough as armor and can protect against pretty strong slices and punctures. They come very stiff because of the fabric quality - but this is well worth it; do not make the mistake of buying the pre-washed version. They will last for years (forever if your labor isn't too heavy) and they are surprisingly comfortable! i wear these as lounge pants around the house instead of sweatpants. Very loose-fitting throughout the legs but i'd say the waist is pretty true-to-fit.

I bought these for my father. He is a school bus driver and often needs to chain up the bus before his morning route. The heavy canvas helps keep the mud and dirt down to a minimum and the extra layer on the front gives him some protection against water permeation. The functionality aside, they just look good on him. A work pant that looks good? i'll rebuy for sure.

The F.A.Q. for Carhartt Men's Washed Duck Work Dungaree Flannel Lined B111 (b111brn)

I bought these pants to replace another pair of identical carhartt dungarees which i like very much. They tough and will take a lot of wear. I wear my current pair nearly every day during the late fall to early spring. The front pockets are nice and deep which i like better than jean pockets and the leg pockets come in handy. They are relaxed fit which i think helps with preventing wear on the lining at the knee which was a problem i've had with other lined pants. My current pair is wearing out at the cuff lining because mine are a little too long but the dungaree part is in good shape. I essentially bought this new pair to make sure i will have a replacement in case they decide to "improve" this design.

Good deal for carhart insulated pants, and free shipping with prime! a lot of reviews mention the pant length is longer than what they ordered? when you receive the pants do not fret when they are longer inseam than what you ordered. The length will shrink 1-2" when you wash them the first few times this is the nature of the fabric. They last for years and i love these for working outdoors in the winter. Most cold days i do not have to wear long johns the pants are so warm. They cut the wind as well! order the inseam you regularly wear and after washing them the pants should fit as expected!

Best carhartt men's washed duck work dungaree flannel lined b111 (b111brn) in review

As soon as i took these out the box i knew they were going to be warm by the weight of them. Great construction, seem to be a pair of pants that will last a long time. Only downsides to these pants are 1. They are extremely high waisted! from the crotch of the pants to the waist seems to be abnormally large (it does however give extra movement room, so its not a con just strange to get used to) 2. These pants run big! i am 6'9" and 270 lbs. So i am a large man. Typically my pants size is 38x36 but in these, the 36" length seems to be more like a 38" or 40"! again this isn't a con as it does allow extra room for movement, it just takes some getting used to. 3. Pockets are small. . Moral of the story: great pair of pants; but if you have the option to try them on at a store and find your correct size that will help you find a better fit.

V. Irene, Warrington says

I have carhartt fleece lined blue jeans and these flannel lined carpenter's pants, and love them both. When i wear long johns in cold weather i always get hot and clammy working in a heated space, but the lined pants feel just as warm outside and yet inside are as comfortable as wearing unlined pants. The fleece lined are much warmer and block more wind than the flannel lined, and if carhartt made fleece lined work pants i would buy them instead. I usually wear my flannel lined pants when it's really cold outside (below 20) but i'm doing most of my work inside, or when the outside temps are 30-40 degrees.

A. Sally, Telford and Wrekin

I am very happy with this purchase so much i bought another pair. They are comfortable, and look good. I have an office job in a factory. My wardrobe was focused on the office in an office building. With my new job, i needed to fit in, and this was an excellent find!

. Bullock, Herefordshire says

Their 38 inch waist isn't my 38 inches; closer to 36. 5. Everything else about these pants i absolutely love. They break the wind, and are long enough to not ride up over boots when entering and exiting vehicles.

. Angela, Ile-de-France

I'll admit i'm a carhartt fan-boy. This was not the case 6 years ago. I was installing computer equipment on a harvester in central california my jeans were shredded after 2 days. I asked the guys in the shop where they got the pants they were wearing. They referred me to a feed store a few miles away and i bought my first pair of these pants there. These are my everyday work pants i don't care about fashion i want my close to last. I still have the pants i bought 6 years ago, i bought these to provide more insulation during cold weather they work well.

. Linda, Maine says

Add some thermal underwear and these are my go to for all day/night field work in alaska down to about 10 degrees f. After that, out come the arctic bibs.

Z. June, Nebraska

First, about the fit. On the advice of several other posters who stated that the pants seemed to run 2" longer than the stated inseam and that the waist seemed to be tighter, i ordered a 33x30 instead of my normal 32x32. This was a mistake as i now have pants a little too loose in the waist and too short in length. With boots, the short length is not a problem. These pants seem to fit true to size. The construction is good. The flannel is soft and warm and the canvas outer cloth is typical study carhardt. I have laundered twice and there are no issues with bunching of the flannel liner. Don't wear these on a warm day as they will make you sweat!

H. Pamela, Bexley says

My husband works outside year round and i bought these for him to wear. They wash nicely and he said they are very comfortable. He wears thermal underwear with them even though they are lined. I guess i can't argue that they are already lined. Sometimes he works nights and it's cold out there in january in the north east!

C. Glenda, Bromley

We bought these for my dad, he really loves them. He is 75 years old and semi retired. He is what you would call a workaholic. After 31 years at wwu he know works for a busy convenience store cleaning the parking lot and tending to the pumps. It has been a cold winter and he has hardly any meat on his bones, needless to say he's freezing. My husband and i decided to buy him a pair of insulated carhartts, he has never owned a pair in his 75 years! i am happy to say he loves them! thank you

R. Moore, Virginia says

Perfect for those almost too cold days. I stopped home for lunch today, and these were waiting for me. I went from wondering if i needed thermals to comfortable in about two minutes. Perfect for fall and spring, or even winter in warmer areas. They ride a bit high, or low depending on where you wear them, but this seems to be the

F. Widmer, Limousin

Husband loves them! wears them to work almost every day. He works outside most of the day and it says it keeps him warm.

E. Ophelia, Saskatchewan says

Pros. Heavy duty construction. Decent fit to size, little long. Look pretty good. . Cons. Legs are quite baggy, . Old school waist fitment is a bit dated. Wish the hammer loop was on the right side of the pants. Flannel lining is not very substantial. . Bottom line, these are really solid work pants. I end up wearing them whenever i can, but the design could definitely be improved. . My biggest problem is the flannel lining, it is adequate without thermal underwear in temperature down to about 32f, any lower than that, or with wind, you'll need supplemental thermals. Something i was hoping to avoid.

N. Paige, Derbyshire says

My husband loves these pants. We live in colorado so they gets lots of wear and always hold up really well

U. Denise, Bayern

These really are the old style dungaree, so exactly what i was looking for. They allow for freedom of movement and are warm with a soft flannel inside. They are a soft not stiff dungaree. Another plus on these, i have bought several pair. They are consistently sized. This has been a problem with some brands of jeans. You have a pair that fit, buy another pair exactly alike both style and size but they are not the same fit. If you like the skinny leg jeans these are not what you are looking for.

Y. Lorenz, Kentucky says

Hubby loves these. Wears them all winter and when it's raining or muddy. Wears them alone when it's warm or with under armour when cold. He says they are very comfy.

G. Sherry, Connecticut

These are some of the most comfortable pants i've ever worn. . The only issue is sizing. I usually wear (levi's) 32x30, which is the sizing i bought for these pants. They're long. Long enough that my pants get all bunched up at the ankle. Not a big deal since these are work pants but honestly, they're comfortable and attractive enough to wear for other occasions if they weren't so long.

D. Noguera, Thurrock says

I purchased these for my dad as a gift and boy does he love them. The flannel lining really does make a difference. When he kept insisting that he need the warm lining already inside i was like just wear long johns underneath. This was his third pair. Thinking he was just being difficult but when these arrived i totally get it. They are really warm and he likes being outside and doing projects so he stays out there pretty long so living in the midwest in the winter im assuming they are pretty warm because he hasnt complained!

P. Newell, Prince Edward Island

Love these pants! have multiple pairs of these pants in my daily grind during the winter months. Rugged pant with soft flannel lining keeps you warm and comfortable outdoors or indoors during the cold winter months here in iowa. These pants take a beating and hold up really well.

. Cageen, Hampshire says

Fabric quality has gone down in the recent years. I still have a pair from 20 years ago that are indestructible but still my favorite work pants.

B. Bethany, Manchester

After reading many reviews i bought a pair of these pants. When they arrived the first thing i noticed was the weight of the package. The pants are heavy, and that is a good thing. If you are considering buying them, it probably isn't because you want to wear them in hawaii. Many prior reviews discuss fit issues. Imho, there are three dimensions that you should know when buying pants: the waist, the inseam, and the outseam. Most online sites provide only the waist and inseam. I think many of the issues that people report with these pants are perhaps due to a longer outseam. The outseam, in case you are not familiar with this term, is the measurement from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the leg. As the outseam increases, all else the same, the pant either sits higher and higher on your waist, or the crotch migrates to your knees. I measured the inseam and it is exactly what the manufacturer says it is. I compared the outseam to that of some other jeans (levi 505, and 506) that i own. The outseam of these carhartt pants is about an inch longer. If you then wear them an inch higher on your waist, the length should be fine. However, if like me you suffer from msd (midsection bulge or cbb chronic beer belly), a common problem, then your waistline may increase rapidly the higher on your waist you wear the pant. I you buy your normal waist size, this forces you to wear it lower, and then makes the pants seem too long. May i suggest that you measure your "waistline" when wearing pants that fit, and then measure it an inch higher. If those measurements differ, you may want to go with one of two strategies. The first would be to buy your normal waist and take the length an inch less than you normally do. My pants are slightly long, but since 30" is the shortest inseam available, i really didn't have any option. Alternatively, choose your normal inseam and increase the waist size so the pant can sit comfortably a bit higher on your waist. I hope the information on the fit is useful to you. . The pants appear to be sturdy, well constructed, and i get the sense that they will last for a long time. As others have noted, the legs are roomy. I don't particularly enjoy the sausage casing look. There are several other features worth pointing out. The front pockets are fairly deep, which is a great thing if you don't like losing things like keys and change from your pockets. There are seven belt loops. More and more often pants are being made with only five. The added warmth of the flannel is evident but not overwhelming, and what i wanted. There are some smaller side pockets in the leg. An iphone 4, 5, or se, even with a case, and an ipod fit; i doubt that a samsung or iphone 6 would fit. These are not elegant pants by any means, but they meet my needs very nicely.

K. Gina, Sachsen-Anhalt says

Love these pants. Live in the mountains where it gets really cold. Very, very comfy and warm especially because they are flannel lined. I usually have a 36 waist but went with 38. They fit great. I am to buy another pair in tan. You will not be disappointed especially with carhardt.

W. Matherly, Barnsley

My husband loves these. He works outside most of the time. Says they are comfortable and warm. He usually wears a 34x34. That's what i ordered but they were way to long. Fits as expected in the waste. Sent them back and got 34x32 and they are perfect. Matched them with all his other ones that are 34x34 and were the same size. If your hubby does outdoor work you'll want him to have these.

I. Garner, Brent says

I was hoping that these pants would be softer and fuller due to the lining on the inside. And while they are more comfortable than the typical, single-layer carhartt duck pants, they don't hold a candle to my older, now shredded, flannel-lined carhartts from 10 years ago.

S. Isabel, Corse

This flannel lined pants is my winter workhorse. Very soft and roomy, won't restrict your leg range of motion at all. However, it wrinkles easily after wash and stays that way even after weeks of wearing. Another thing is that they are cut on the long side. I'm 6'2 190lbs, usually 34l fits me perfect, but these are about 1 2 inches longer than other 34ls. Not a huge deal and it actually provides better coverage and protection. Just something you should know before buying.

Disadvantage and Critical reviews

Z. Meyer, South Carolina says

Man these things are too long! i measured them at about 38 1/2 inches in the inseam. Ha ha i complain that i can't get pants long enough and now i feel what it's like to have them too long! lol what do i do?

. Nicole, Michigan

My husband has a pair of lined carhartt pants and loves them. So when we ordered these pants we thought were the same kind. However, the size was exactly as the original but when they came, they were too long in length and the color was too dark. Oh well.

H. Taylor, Westminster says

Order one size bigger than usual! i usually wear 32 waist, but these are tight. I'm going to sell them and order 33's. . The flannel is nice though, and carhartts are great for heavy duty activities. Great pants for winter.

G. Paula, North Lincolnshire

A bit tight at the waist but otherwise good!

. Sarah, Western Australia says

This is flannel lined and may work down to 35 degrees. The cotton flannel is thin but comfortable. These would be good when working in a cool indoor facility. Look for a fleece line jean for real warmth.

J. Guest, Nebraska

I wear a 32" waist in all other pants; ordered these in the same size, they were way too tight. Sent back for a refund.

. Lisa, British Columbia says

2nd pair. Even ordered 2 sizes bigger. Horrible pants. Not like they use to be. Returning them.

X. Ruby, Southwark

Just like many reviews i had read prior to my purchase. The pants legs were enormous. I compared them to other carhartts and they were in fact 2 in wider in the leg. I will say tho, the quality of the pants were like most my carhartts. But i'm stumped on who's sizing these and why such the baggie ness.

T. Guest, Windsor and Maidenhead says

The construction was excellent. A very substantial pair of jeans. They were baggy because they are lined so don't expect a fitted look as they are work pants after all.

L. Maria, Lambeth

I return these because they have a bootleg and i do not like the very where i d leg pant.

W. Linda, North Carolina says

I really liked the pant, but the waist was too small. If they had a size larger i would have exchanged. But one was not available so i asked for a refund. Thanks for reading

S. Amanda, Provence-Alpes-Cote dAzur

Nice pants, but not my fit. So i returned them and bought under armour cold gear instead.

. Hadley, North Somerset says

I wanted to quickly get this up to help anyone trying to pick out sizing; i went to my local ranch & home store and they had a lot of these for me to try, not in the exact length i needed but i was able to try out the waist sizes of what i did need. The key is to get the relaxed straight cut. The original style is basically for fatsos. The relaxed straight cuts are in fact about 1. 5 or 2x smaller than other pant brands for example my wrangler ranger pants which are a similar ripstop cargo pant fit me fine in 30x30 but in these insulated pants i would need about a 1. 5 or 2 sizes up. This confirms what everybody else is saying about the sizing. And yes they are about 2 inches longer in the length as well like everyone else says, but it might not be a problem. The description doesn't say if its a relaxed fit or original fit so who knows, i assume it's relaxed, but from what people are saying online store might be mixing it up or else the larger sizes are for fatter people. The inside label says outer material 100% cotton and the inner flannel cotton is also listed as 100% cotton on the tag. . P. S. Also the green or olive color doesn't really look good, it looks pale and not a dark military green, i won't get that color. . I just tried on my pants and then noticed its original fit, meaning for large people. The size was 32x30, this is not good. Also for those who are looking at the carhartt insulated jeans. I noticed the jean material is very soft almost like sweatpants and the insulation is fleece i believe. When i tried the jeans vs these there a huge difference . The cotton flannel is much warmer than fleece lined.

N. Rhonda, Oklahoma

It's too large for 38 size. At the waist it was fit, but the size of hips! can you imagine that it was at least twice more than my hip?

R. Gladys, Saarland says

Order at least next size up if not 2 sizes. Carhartt apparently always runs small

M. Widmer, New Mexico

Fit as expected but only because i've ordered these before. I have noticed a difference in sizing between outsourced carhartts and made in the. Usa carhartts. . I have a pair of these from 2015 - also made in mexico that i would give a 5/5 rating. . Because they were so good, i just bought two additional pair. South dakota winters are cold. The materials on the new pants are pathetic. I'm disappointed in carhartt. The exterior feels and looks the same and it probably is, per spec. However, the lining is horrible. It's thin and it easily pulls away from the more rugged cotton outer shell. I can easily pinch it between my fingers and it feels less sturdy/thick than any t-shirt i own. My older pair feels heavy and doesn't easily pull away from the outer shell; they have worn extremely well and are still my go-to winter work pants. I have no faith in the durability or warmth of this new lining. . In this case, carhartt is raising their prices while downgrading their materials. I'll look elsewhere for winter pants.

B. Alexia, Washington says

As you can see in the picture you get really baggy long pants that are tight at the waist. Good quality though, i returned and ordered bigger on the waist still pretty tight

V. Sheila, Sunderland

Although i have an older pair of carhart pants identical to this advertised style, these new pants unfortunately did not fit at all. I ordered the same identical size as my current worn-out pants thinking it would be a sure bet. Alas, they are way too tight and also sadly have a very light inner material compared to my older worn pair of thickly lined carharts. Additionally i made the mistake of ordering the pants 1 week before we went on a 2 week-long vacation. I was dismayed to find out they didn't fit, only to further realize i am now slightly past the 30 day return policy restriction. Most of my pants are size 30" waist and fit me just fine. I ordered these new carharts in 31" (just like my older ones) and like i stated previously they are way too tight. Bummed. And wish i could return them.

. Franklin, East Riding of Yorkshire says

I like the pants. I used them for deer season this year. They held up very well to the thorns, burs and other crap you run into in the sticks. They were extremely warm. I wear a size 34 waist comfortably and these pants were tight. I would have given 5 stars otherwise. If you plan to purchase a pair, make sure you buy a size larger then normal.

I. McCarthy, Barking and Dagenham

The "gravel" color is not as pictured or described, it is plain jean. I am returning because my husband specifically asked for the dark color pictured so it wouldn't stain as easily

K. Campbell, Hounslow says

Had to return the ones i got for hubby. Way too big and baggy in the legs and seat. Waist fit fine but he didn't like the overall fit. My son wears these and likes them fine, so it's just a matter of preference.

. Josephine, Mississippi

Way baggier than the image suggests. I'm in the woods, not the 'hood.

P. Anonymous, Swindon says

These were supposed to be flannel lined. When i received them they were not.

Y. Wilson, Durham

Fit was tight needed one size bigger.

Q. Watson, Blackpool says

I must say that these did fit well in the waist. They also fit well in the length. But the legs were too big. I normally wear a slim fit (5'9" and 155lbs). Maybe the brand was not the right fit for me. But i wish they did fit because i would have liked to wear them.

E. Kathlene, Blackburn with Darwen

It's technically accurate to say that these pants are flannel lined, but the lining is woefully thin. Save yourself the aggravation and just wear some thermals instead. . Also, the waist feels like it shrank noticeably after one wash and dry cycle.

D. Gina, Sheffield says

Very nice jeans, but run small for the actual size 40, as i had bought a pair of these in a store same size 40x36 that fit perfectly, but these online are a bit more snug. Makes no sense to me. I bought them online as it is hard to find tall sizes in the neighboring store.

F. Jacqueline, Sutton

The waistline is too tight, i've been wearing the same size for years but now with this flannel pants are a different story.

U. Guest, Wyoming says

Too baggy for my taste but well made. Would easily earn 5 stars for anyone wanting larger thigh/leg size.

A. Hannah, Bayern

I loved these pants when they first arrived, good material, good fit, but even though they are my size and i didn't place stress on the waist, the button came off after 2-3 uses, almost as if it were twisted off. Appears that workmanship is not very reliable.
